Stay here! We debated whether we should stay in huangling on the hill or not, and I'm so glad we did. The balcony room is perfect for whiling away time, and even if the lanes are a bit crowded you can still enjoy the beauty of Huangling. The location couldn't be better, the service is friendly, and the rooms are very comfortable. We are already deciding which season to visit in next time.

Location was excellent and the room fittings were good. Room was clean and breakfast selection was good.

The service standards would need to be higher for this type of pricing. The lack of proper service standards has seriously diminish the hotel standards.

This place is located in the village mountain where we can explore the village conveniently especially during early morning and evening where almost all people have already gone down the mountain which is quite peaceful and less crowded. Guests can also go up the mountain by cable car for free and get to the lobby by a small coach service. Hotel staff are helpful and always share useful information via WeChat. Just one advice, more various vegetables for breakfast should be added to make the meal more appealing.

A real hidden gem! A haven of peace with a warm and very helpful staff. Perfect stay. Highly recommended! The only point that could be improved is the breakfast management, which felt a bit below the otherwise excellent standards of the hotel.

What a delight - very local breakfast was the only negative but all the food in Huang Ling is the same so not the hotel fault. Although there were no drinks such as water at breakfast for children ..not even to purchase.

Beautiful view from the little balcony in the room. Staying here means we could visit the entire place in the morning before the crowd arrives and that was a very pleasant experience!

I'd longed to visit Huangling to see the autumn harvest, and this trip was a spontaneous half-day getaway. After much deliberation, I finally chose a scenic twin room at the Yishanju Hotel. However, this very scenic twin room at Yishanju provided a very unpleasant experience. I didn't experience the "scenic view" at all during my stay. First, I arrived at the hotel around 10 AM. When checking in at the foot of the mountain, they assigned me this room, but the hotel said it wasn't ready yet and I couldn't enter. Normal check-in time is 3 PM, which I could understand, given it was peak season and a weekend. So, my friend and I went directly to the scenic spots for a photoshoot. Around 3 PM, the hotel informed me that the room was ready and I could check in. Only then did I retrieve my room key and enter the room. The room's layout was almost identical to the online pictures, but the windows were completely blocked by dense foliage, offering absolutely no view. My friend and I were extremely disappointed and angry. We complained to the butler, who replied that the view from each room is limited, but my room had no view whatsoever! Furthermore, I later carefully checked other room types. The description for the Deluxe Twin Room mentioned that there might be walls or obstructions outside the window, but this wasn't mentioned for the View Twin Room. If this had been mentioned initially, I might have chosen the cheaper Deluxe Twin Room with the same room type and conditions, or chosen a different hotel without having such high expectations. The hotel's description was clearly misleading and deceiving. Finally, during negotiations with the hotel butler, I argued that since the room type, specifications, and view were identical to the Deluxe Twin Room, the price difference for the View Twin Room should be refunded, but this was refused. I respect the hotel's decision. However, I hope the hotel can treat every tourist who travels a long way to Huangling with sincerity and provide an honest and objective description of your room. I hope my stay experience can offer some reference for others. Huangling's autumn sun-drying scene is beautiful and worth a visit!

The scorching summer sun in Huangling highlights the advantages of staying within the scenic area. Rising at 6:30 AM each morning, you have plenty of time to explore Tianjie, Water Street, and the various core attractions before the tourists arrive. During the peak tourist season, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, you can return to the B&B to escape the sun and crowds. After 5:00 PM, you can enjoy a dip in the infinity pool, and after 8:00 PM, you can find food and enjoy the night view. The daily pace is just right, and the exertion is minimal. The B&B's service is also attentive, from the shuttle service to the daily sweet soup, which was very satisfying. Highly recommended.

Huangling is a beautiful place. The hotel is on the mountain. The housekeeper helped with the luggage. The service was very good. We booked a villa. The house was very large. The facilities on the first floor were good. The facilities on the second floor bedroom were a bit simple. Everything else was good.
