great location that’s nearby almost all the main spots. however if you arrive late at night and there’s no more space to park your car, you have to drive a little further out and park at a carpark. they will give you a coupon for the carpark.
the private onsen was way too hot to use unfortunately. like there’s no way a sane person will be able to use without scaring yourself /:
This is my second time in this hotel everything good

Really comfortable and spacious room, excellent central location to be able to walk around Kusatsu. The private onsens were amazing, just so incredibly hot!
Location is quite near Yubatake and there is parking on site for a few cars. Room size is big and there is 2 private onsens. The breakfast is delicious.

Went with my mom and had a great trip. The hotel is pretty discretely tucked away, but very close to the bus stop. The room is a good size and comfortable winter coat was provided for those going out to an onsen. They even had heated blankets!

Simple is the best ! The location, price and service are great, no need to think about . If I visit again , Kusatsu Onsen Futabaya for sure will be my first choice ! 😉
The location is great, the town is not big, I feel like I'm back home when I walk in with my slippers on, and the bed is very comfortable! Satisfied and recommended
Although the hotel is small, it has a very good location and is convenient for going anywhere in the central area. It takes about 3 to 5 minutes to walk after getting off the bus. It's just that the name of the store is a little small, so if you don't understand Japanese, you may not notice it. Because the name on Ctrip is translated into Chinese, and the actual store name is in Japanese. The hotel has two small hot spring pools, and only one room can enter at a time. You basically have to wait for half an hour to soak each time. However, there are many places to soak in hot springs outside, so if you are not so obsessed with soaking in the hotel, it's no problem.
The first thing I did when I arrived at the hotel was to search for delicious restaurants nearby. I found a restaurant called Kamameshi, which looked good, but because I couldn't make an online reservation, I could only queue up at the door. So I waited for more than an hour in the cold wind. It was so cold during the waiting process that I soaked my feet in the foot bath next to it. Facts have proved that even if there are many people queuing up, it is not necessarily a delicious restaurant. The expectations are high, but the actual situation is very average, and the menu variety is also very small. I will never go to the store a second time unless there is really nothing to eat. I guess many people queuing up are also following the trend like me, out of curiosity.
In addition, when you go out, bring the bath towel and small towel provided by the hotel, so that you can take a bath at any time, because the hot springs outside do not provide towels, and some places even need to pay to rent them.
When you arrive at the place, first buy a package ticket for the three major hot springs, stamp each place, and you will be issued a certificate of completion after taking three baths, so you can take a photo to commemorate it.
Kusatsu Onsen is not big, and the attractions are very concentrated, which is quite suitable for lazy people like me, and they are all within walking distance. I personally think that planning a good itinerary is enough for two days and one night. Finally, it is still quite cold these days, so remember to wear thicker clothes, bring hats and earmuffs, because it is really cold.
There seems to be only one hotel staff, but he is very enthusiastic. If you arrive early, you can store your luggage first. It is very close to the hot springs. The hot springs are private, so couples or families can bathe together without additional charges. Great
This is a magical hotel. There seem to be only two staff members, a young man from India who is suspected to be the boss and a cleaning lady. When we arrived, the hotel was empty. We had to call for help at the front desk. After a long time, the boss came out to help us check in. Then, no staff members were seen again, whether entering or leaving the hotel or checking out.
This hotel has only a few rooms. Going in and out of the door, changing shoes, and taking a bath are all self-service, but I quite like this feeling of freedom without being watched.
The biggest advantage of the hotel is that it is very close to the Yubatake, which is only a 3-minute walk away. In addition, you can also take a bath in the hotel. It is a private bath that can be taken when no one is occupying it, and no reservation is required.
Did Ctrip name this hotel? And this scale can only be considered a hotel, right? It is different from the name on Google. I identified the hotel based on the appearance of the hotel you uploaded! Of course, this is unilateral dissatisfaction with Ctrip!
This hotel is very small, and there should be only one waiter, but the service is very good. It is enough. Because the hotel does not open breakfast within 1-5 weeks.
The location of the hotel is very good, which adds a lot of points. It is about 200 meters to the hot spring scenic area and about 200 meters to the station.
My child and I did not go out to soak in the hot spring. The hotel has its own hot spring, which is a private hot spring. 15 minutes per person, my child and I can accumulate 30 minutes. The water is always flowing! If you think the water is too hot, you can contact the waiter to add cold water~ The sulfur hot spring in Kusatsu is really great! Every time I soak my whole body, I feel very comfortable~
