A day before check-in, I received a call from the hotel informing me about nearby road construction and proactively offering a complimentary upgrade to a river view room. Check-in was smooth, the facilities were well-equipped, and they even provided complimentary sweet cookies and fruit. All the staff were very friendly. A small park is conveniently located right outside. The buffet was decent, but items weren't restocked very promptly. Overall, it was a good experience, and I would definitely stay here again.

The service was absolutely outstanding – so warm and welcoming! They were incredibly generous with the complimentary cookies too! The location was fantastic, offering panoramic river views. Excellent value for money! And the late breakfast until 10 AM was a huge plus for a late riser like me!

The weather in Anhui has been quite hot these past few days. The service at Hotel Lyra was exceptional. We checked in before dinner, and our room was well-arranged, quiet, and comfortable, complete with welcome fruit. The Chinese restaurant on the 2nd floor was also excellent, with very reasonably priced set menus. Overall, both the service and facilities were great. I'll definitely come back again if I have the chance!

Due to ongoing municipal construction near the hotel, Manager Yang Ping, our point of contact, went above and beyond to help us adjust our room to ensure a peaceful stay. She arranged a high-floor, non-smoking room with stunning river views. Once we opened the curtains, the breathtaking scenery of the Yangtze River was right before our eyes – truly magnificent! And, as a hallmark of DoubleTree by Hilton, we were delighted to receive their signature delicious chocolate chip nut cookies from the front desk.

Overall good. The air conditioning wasn't quite powerful enough, but it was still acceptable. They kindly provided a small fan and even moved me to a cooler room. Later, when there was some noise from singing downstairs, they proactively moved me to a higher floor. All the arrangements were handled perfectly.

The view from the room was fantastic, being right by the river and offering a great panorama of the Yangtze River. The staff were extremely attentive; we received complimentary cookies upon check-in, and in the evening, a large platter of welcome fruit was delivered to our room, which was so generous we couldn't finish it all. The hotel breakfast was of excellent quality, with a wide variety of options, and the coffee was delicious. I would definitely consider staying here again. My only minor complaint was that the air conditioning couldn't be adjusted below 26 degrees Celsius, which was a bit uncomfortable for someone sensitive to heat.

The room was well-appointed. Cleanliness: Immaculately clean and fresh. Environment: The river view from the window was absolutely stunning and truly breathtaking! Service: The service was warm, meticulous, and incredibly thoughtful. When I accidentally cut my hand, a young lady at the front desk immediately brought a band-aid and iodine swabs, carefully helping me apply it. I was deeply grateful and felt truly cared for. The breakfast spread was extensive, and the price was very reasonable.

Our stay at the Hilton was a complete nightmare from the moment we arrived until we checked out! The parking area had absolutely no signage. We drove around in circles for ages until a kind staff member eventually helped us find a spot, which we barely managed to squeeze into. At the front desk, we were immediately told the hotel exterior was under renovation. The staff member explained that even an upgraded room wouldn't escape the noise, adding that while it was a municipal project (implying we should be understanding), they then brazenly suggested, 'If you don't like it, you can always find another hotel.' They even claimed there was a warning on the booking site – a warning my wife and I scoured for repeatedly but couldn't find even a hint of! It was already past midnight, our child was completely exhausted and falling asleep, so we had no choice but to reluctantly accept their 'upgraded' room offer. After finally making it to the room, dragging our luggage and our sleepy child, we were absolutely stunned by the sight: it was a faulty room! Even with the air conditioning on full blast in the middle of the night, the room was still uncomfortably warm. To make matters worse, there was a large fan placed in the room, constantly blasting air directly onto the bed, making it impossible to get any decent rest. The hotel staff's response was astounding: 'This is an upgraded room with a view, and it's west-facing, so it can't cool down properly!' Given it was well past midnight, we had no choice but to go back downstairs to complain. The 'new' room they eventually gave us was, unbelievably, situated directly above the construction site, offering a full, unobstructed view of the work! We were both furious and completely helpless. Our child was beyond exhausted and fussing to sleep, so we just had to grit our teeth and stay put. Thankfully, the next day wasn't plagued by major noise. Breakfast at 9 AM the next morning was yet another shocking experience. The buffet counters were practically empty, as if it were already well past closing time, with a truly pathetic amount of food available. After complaining to the staff, we waited for a full thirty to forty minutes, but no one replenished any dishes. Only when a man in a suit (we assume a hotel executive) entered to dine did staff members finally begin to slowly restock the food. The pool was even more of a disappointment; it bore no resemblance to the promotional photos. The lanes were tiny and narrow, and to top it off, it was open to the public with coaches giving lessons. Not only was the management chaotic, but the safety standards appeared alarmingly low. I genuinely cannot fathom how a hotel plagued by so many issues could possibly boast a 4.7-star rating! This was unequivocally the worst hotel stay I have ever experienced during my travels. I wholeheartedly urge everyone to steer clear of this place!

Absolutely fantastic! The staff were incredibly professional, warm, and attentive. Our room was perfect and spotlessly clean, and we were delighted to receive complimentary welcome fruit. We even got a free upgrade to a river view room, and the view was absolutely breathtaking. A truly perfect family trip!

I'm back in Wuhu again, specifically for their incredible river view. I spent the entire afternoon in the lounge, taking photos and soaking in the absolutely stunning scenery. The only minor drawback was the road construction around the hotel, which caused some noise in the room, but with earplugs, I was able to sleep perfectly well. Service: Lyra provided excellent service. Cleanliness: The room was kept very clean, and trash was cleared promptly.

As expected from a five-star hotel, the service quality is exceptional. The rooms are comfortable, immaculately clean, and well-maintained. The front desk staff are highly professional and courteous. The hotel's location is also a major plus, being very close to local attractions and making sightseeing incredibly convenient. And the breakfast? Absolutely delicious! The staff at the Western restaurant were patient and very approachable. Definitely five stars! 👍

I was back in my hometown from Beijing to visit relatives, so I chose a hotel conveniently located near their place. DoubleTree by Hilton is always my go-to hotel. I was assisted by Lyra, my dedicated concierge, and her service was truly outstanding. She proactively informed me about nearby road construction and offered many excellent recommendations for local sightseeing and dining.

We took our child for a summer trip, and she loves swimming, so we chose this hotel knowing it had a heated pool. Unfortunately, there was road construction around the hotel, which caused significant traffic and noise issues. On the bright side, the service was excellent. A special shout-out to Lyra, who recommended the buffet restaurant; the food there was quite good.

Lyra from the hotel staff provided excellent service. The hotel lobby is quite spacious and comfortable, and the room offered a fantastic view. All the staff were very courteous. The location is great for exploring by car. Despite some recent road construction nearby, I must have slept really well as I didn't hear any noise whatsoever. The complimentary cookies from the hotel were delicious! I wish there was a QR code in the room to scan and buy them directly.
