West End Washington DC, Tapestry Collection by Hilton Reviews

This is a hotel in a good location but with very old amenities. It is on the West end of Washington DC. The staff is very nice. However, the facility is kind of of old, very very old. The room is not big but that's fine.

Location was near the metro, restaurants, and a 15 minute walk to the White House. The room was spacious and I wished I stayed for longer!

Good location near attractions. Rooms are clean with all required amenities. One of our group forgot an apple watch and hotel keep it for him. However, after send the address to deliver, hotel staff still not sending until we followed up again.

Amazing location and room layout

In the center of Washington, the location is good, and the taxi is basically the starting price. Parking is a long-standing problem like other DC hotels. The street party in front of the hotel is free on weekends. The room is very large.

Location close to bus stops and subways. The area is quiet, with Trader Joe's a 10-minute walk away. There is a refrigerator and microwave in the room, so meals were cheap. There was a water server at the back of the front desk, so drinking water was available for free. My personal disappointment was that, although the hotel description said there was a gym, there was no such facility. Also, the refrigerator was set to a very low temperature, so all the food I had put in there froze, which was disappointing. Also, the front desk staff was not knowledgeable or experienced, so I was charged twice for my accommodation when I checked in, and after Trip.com asked me to pay the money in advance, it took almost three weeks for the refund to be made, which was really disappointing.

The environment is good, very quiet and convenient. The room was large and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It is a seven or eight-minute walk from the Foggy Bottom subway station, and the bus on Pennsylvania Avenue is very convenient. It's also convenient to eat nearby. The Walgreen store on the corner is open until midnight, and there's a Trader Joe's not far away.

The room is warm and the location is quiet. But the details need to be improved. For example, there are only stairs to enter the door, and it is not friendly enough for people carrying luggage. The staff is friendly, but they don't take the initiative to explain things like breakfast. Sometimes I ask more.

Your room will only be cleaned once every 5 days unless you request it. You can get new towels if you ask. The water machine in the lobby was broken and left unattended with no sign of it being repaired. It is convenient to have a sink separate from the bathroom. There are stairs at the entrance, and you have to climb several flights of stairs to reach the lobby, so it is not handicapped accessible. Strollers may also be a problem.

The room is consistent with the pictures, the air conditioner is a bit noisy. It's a 30-minute walk from the White House and Lincoln Memorial. There is a Whole Foods supermarket to the south, so the location is quite convenient. It's about 20 taxis to Reagan Airport, Capitol Hill, and Union Station. The front desk service is quite enthusiastic. I live on the sixth floor, not facing the street, very quiet

Good price, far from the city center

A very well located hotel, a spacious room with quality service. However, the kitchen area is not very functional. It is not suitable for someone who wants to prepare. It is just equipped with a microwave and a coffee machine.

There is a bar on the first floor below ground level, so after reading the reviews, we strongly requested that the building be higher up, and finally we were given a place on the 5th floor, so it’s basically pretty quiet!

The room is of good size, with a square table, a small sofa, and good facilities, including a microwave. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the White House.
