"The hotel reception is situated on a hill, around 7 min walk up. Location is good if you're taking a ferry from HCMC, just 10 min walk away.
However, the hotel is a tad bit old, as you can tell from the furnishings, so there might be things breaking down. Breakfast selection is not good, but included so can't complain much, as long as you only try it for a day."

"This is the second booking. We had a wonderful stay at The Malibu Hotel during our recent family trip! TtorinessWe loved nearly everything about this hotel. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Room was big and very clean with very nice bed and bathroom. We were very happy to have a swimming pool on our floor that was just for guests on our floor, as well as the larger more public rooftop pool. The pools were so clean and had great views over the ocean. My one and only criticism is we were very disappointed with the hotel restaurant. It changed both the in-house and room-service menus on the day we arrived and the new menus did not have ANY vegetarian starters or mains - just a few side dishes (which is unsatisfactory for a proper meal). So sadly we had to leave the hotel to find a restaurant for dinner, when we just wanted to stay in and be relaxed. Not having a single vegetarian main should not happen at an international hotel like this. The staff were apologetic but it didn’t change the fact we had to leave to get dinner. The good news is that we found an excellent Italian restaurant (Good Mornjng Vietnam) just 10 minutes away that had loads of great vegetarian food.

I had wonderful and relaxing time during my 3D2N vacation at Skool Plus. I was totally recovered after the stay, thanks to the great hospitality of Skool Plus. Here are some highlights for you to consider booking some enjoyable nights:
- The facility is new and equipped
- The room is furnished that you don need to bring along a lot of your personal stuffs. And, the aesthetic is beyond expectation, one plus point.
- The restaurant offers you good meals with reasonable price.
- Friendly, dedicated staffs there will always give you a smile and be willing to support you all the time.
I almost just stayed there whole day without going out for a beach walk and kept on repeating the same activities around the hotel: swimming at the rooftop pool, having free buffet breakfast, drowning myself into the bathtub and watching Netflix. Yes, they have Netflix for you to chill all day.
You should give it a try!

Yyee tianVery clean and well kept room. Great view from the room facing the swimming pool. The facilities are pretty standard for a 5 star resort. Buffet breakfast was rather disappointing as most of the dishes tasted quite bland. Its a short walk to the beach with breathtaking view. Love our stay there!

NNGUYEN TUI had a great stay at a hotel in the heart of Vung Tau. The location is perfect—just a short walk to Back Beach and close to many popular restaurants. The staff was incredibly friendly and always ready to help with recommendations. The room was clean, well-equipped, and had a beautiful view. Breakfast was delicious with a variety of options. Housekeeping was prompt and attentive. The overall experience was excellent, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable stay with great service in Vung Tau!

GGuest UserI really enjoyed my stay at Oyster Bay Hotel. The staff was exceptionally friendly and made the experience even better. I believe this hotel is somewhat underrated and deserves more guests. Wishing you success and further growth!
The only thing that I found a bit inconvenient was the hot water. It takes a long time for it to heat up, which can be frustrating.
One more thing to add, the design choice of having a glass wall between the bedroom and the bathroom with a curtain is interesting and might work well for a young couple, but it's definitely not suitable for a family with kids. The curtain was not opaque enough, so if the bathroom light was on, it provided little privacy. As a result, we had to take showers with the light off. I think it's important to inform guests about this and avoid assigning such rooms to families with children.
Other than that, everything was great. Thank you for a pleasant stay!

MMaupassantMy friends and l stayed in Vung tau for leisure. The reason why we pick up this hotel is the location, reasonable price and the deep understanding of what core value of a budget hotel in a tourism city should provide to the customers.
The location is great. It is closed to the beach and Jesus status in a walking distance. It is also closed to some wonderful restaurants.
The price is reasonable. It deserved the price in terms of room facilities and breakfast. A budget hotel has a swimming pool at the rooftop faces the beautiful sea and beach. Breakfast is great as well
A comfortable bed and strong hot water in the showering room are the most important things for me. Ibis is doing great job.
I would like to recommend this hotel to anyone who looks for balance among budget, safety, comfort and convenience

I decided to come back because my family really liked this hotel during my previous visit.
What I love most is that the bus from Ho Chi Minh City to the hotel is included in the accommodation fee.
It’s very convenient not having to book the bus separately.
The hotel is clean, and the staff are very kind.
I was especially happy that they upgraded our room this time.
The room was clean, and the water pressure in the shower had improved compared to last time, which made the stay even better.
The pool was beautiful as well, and we were very satisfied.
My child especially loves the pool at Vias Hotel.
We’d love to come back again.

KKennieConsidering that it was a late booking, I guess the price was a little higher than what I expected. Lesson learnt: book early to get more options & better prices! Otherwise, the room was bigger than I expected. There were actually 2 double beds instead of one for 2 persons (interesting!). And there was also a small empty en-suite pantry with a kitchen sink that I didn't have to use. The room itself was a little old. but clean. The best part of the room was the view from the balcony. Lovely view of the sea, the poolside & the town's view facing the coastline. All in all, worth the money you pay for. Oh, and the breakfast buffet was passable. Some basic choices, nothing fancy, mostly Vietnamese flair with some noodles, fried rice, cereal & bread. Plus, they had an egg counter to cook eggs the way you want, either scrambled, sunny side up or omelette. And the nightlife is comparable to Ho Chi Minh City, vibrant, bright & colourful.

TTracynguyen2412I booked 3 deluxe twin rooms with seaview for 2 nights to celebrate my birthday with friends. I got warm welcome from Ms. Duyen (Asistant Guest Relations Manager), Ms. Chi Receptionist and Mr. Vinh Bellman. Ms Duyen helped us arrange our room with nice view and she made me surprised with the cakes. Ms. Chi checked in for us very fast and professional. Mr. Vinh help us deliver all heavy luggages to our rooms and call electricty car fo us. Also thank for Mr. Hoang FB Manager for taking care of us about breakfast. Our stay was so pleasant in Mercure Vung Tau. And we really enjoy our stay much because of them.
But there's a small problem that I made reservations on trip.com for my stay 22-24Dec, but my working schedule was changed so I contacted Ms. Trang Lam Reservation to support to change to 20-22Dec, she asked me to contact with trip.com. After I contacted trip.com, they helped me contact hotel again to change. Sometimes, I know if both side agrees to change, I can change althought my booking policy shows not amend. But trip.com said that the hotel didnt agree to change. And I asked her for a solution that I can pay more to change or not, she just sent me an email with room price for 20-22Dec, didnt tell me that I can cancel old reservation to make a new reservation or not. Finally, I had to change my schedule, only stayed in hotel 1 night and left Vung Tau 3:30AM for taking my flight on 24Dec.
