"We visited from Fiji 🇫🇯. It's a great place, spacious room and very clean. It's almost 5-6km from the Ganga Ghaat so you have to take an auto to reach the temples or the river area. Don't take Uber as roads are mostly closed for big cars during peak hours. Bikes and auto are good. Hotel is next to JHV mall if you prefer some quick shopping within 100m walking distance from hotel"

"We spent two nights here as part of a tailor made five week trip around India so the hotel was chosen for us by our travel agent. We arrived on Dev Dewali so Varanasi was incredibly busy however the hotel is located in a quiet area. On arrival we were given a slightly overwhelming but friendly welcome with silk scarves wrapped around us and our photo taken. The decor of the hotel was very dark which we found a bit oppressive and this included our room. The room itself was adequate for our needs. The restaurant was not aesthetically pleasing and could have been cleaner but the staff were very friendly and were keen to help. Breakfast was OK. We did have an evening meal which was excellent (vegetable manchurion, sweet & sour balls and noodles). Strangely, we had a call from the front desk to remind us they were serving breakfast which was unnecessary (fortunately we weren't woken up as we had already been on a sunrise boat cruise!). Overall it was OK for a two night stay."

"Hotel is good with all amenities near by But service very very bad or did not expect this from this hotel Very very very slow service n does not respond until 2 nd call Check out cleared but nobody come to help with the luggage even though it was mentioned they will send the support person in 5-10mins n until second reminder reception did not bother to send the guy. After the breakfast nobody there to respond what we need even mentioned they were little reluctant the 2 ladies( one in white shirt n other in red shirt) in the breakfast section. After couple of reminders we got what we need . Thanq for the guys in breakfast session for their prompt response n attention for what is required for my 78years old mom n made her comfortable for her choice of food . Food is good with all sorts of breakfast choices Strange thing which I noticed first time is during check out reception place nobody bothered to ask how was the stay 😃  Finally guys ( red)"

"Mr Upendra Singh and Mr Dhanraj Dubey’s team were very helpful and attentive, including Mr Rajiv Kumar and Mr Sonu Kumar at the restaurant ‘1951.’ The food was excellent as well as balanced in terms of spices and oil. The rooms were well furnished and welcoming. We are a family of four traveling from the U.S and the staff has been very gracious. At the restaurant, there is traditional Indian music played in person by two musicians who played on request. Dining is an enjoyable experience at this hotel. Highly recommended."

"This hotel boasts a convenient location for sightseeing in Sarnath. It offers easy access to major historical sites like the Dhamek Stupa, and the surrounding area is relatively quiet and peaceful. There are several highly-rated restaurants and non-vegetarian options nearby, so finding food was not a problem. The hotel has a pool and gym, which we were able to use during our stay. The staff were all very kind and greeted us warmly. Communication in English was problem-free, making for a pleasant stay. However, the Wi-Fi was very weak, sometimes almost unusable. We had to reconnect daily, which might be a drawback for those relying on the hotel's Wi-Fi. Also, the kettle in the room was broken, and improvements in facilities are something we hope to see. There were frequent power outages during our stay. However, this might be a regional issue rather than solely a hotel problem. Overall, the staff's service and location were excellent, making it a perfectly satisfactory hotel as a base for sightseeing in Sarnath. However, improvements in Wi-Fi and facilities are something we hope to see in the future."

"We booked Hotel Surya on December 18th till December 21st. However, due to bad weather, our flight got delayed and we landed on December 19th. But kudos goes to hotel's manager Mr. Shailendra Singh who contacted us and helped us all the way through, even extended our stay till 22nd December without any hassle. Coming to the hotel review - we booked a premium room with double occupancy and the hotel provided exactly the same room which was shown in pictures. The amenities, food, overall experience is awesome. Again shout out to Mr Shailendra who helped us all the time during our stay, making it even more worthwhile. I highly recommend this hotel, for family, friends and anybody who want to have a great hospitality experience. It's a little bit away from the Ghats, but whoever wants to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the Ghats, it's a perfect place. It's very near to Varanasi Junction. Overall, this hotel will be in my topmost position if I ever plan to visit Varanasi again."
