Family-friendly Hotels in Tongren

The room we booked was a family room, and the kids were super happy. They loved the hotel robot. The hotel staff provided super good service. They helped with the luggage and checked us in. The front desk lady Xiao He was awesome. She was super gentle and patiently checked us in. She told us where to eat and recommended places to go. 😊 In short, this stay was super good and I will choose this place again next time.

Honest review about my two-day stay. I'm hoping to see some improvements. Customer Service: Poor. Unresponsive to requests, lacking in providing assistance. Not courteous, which is expected of a hotel staff. Staff: Unaccommodating, often responding with “No” rather than seeking solutions or alternatives. Hotel Room: Good. The automatic toilet feature was a highlight. Cleanliness: Good, but there is potential for improvement. Amenities: Good. Location: Good. Value for Money: Acceptable for a 4-5 star hotel, but the value is diminished by the subpar service. Improvements in customer service and satisfaction are necessary to justify the cost. Overall Experience: Unsatisfactory, especially compared to my other stays at Wyndham hotels. This particular experience did not meet the standards expected from the Wyndham brand, leading to disappointment.

In terms of the ‘hard product’ this may be the best value hotel I’ve ever stayed in, I was genuinely shocked at how wonderful it was and for such a low price. The room and bathroom were flawless and spotlessly clean, to the same standard as any international brand 5 star hotel and far exceeding any expectations I had. The outdoor swimming pool was a very welcome relief from the summer heat and humidity. Despite this, I did feel the service wasn’t to the same standard as the hotel. I had a negative experience when checking in, and with a phone call from the hotel in the following days, that, unfortunately, left a very sour taste in my mouth. I was also surprised that there was no one on the service desk of the pool and spa area to show us to the changing rooms or offer us any towels for swimming. This being said, I would stay here again in an instant and would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Tongren.

The hotel is high-end, the rooms are spacious, and the facilities are good, especially the large indoor bath. If you are tired from traveling, you can take a dip in the warm bath and it will be indescribably comfortable. The breakfast is rich in variety, the waiters are warm, warm and professional, and the room price is only three More than a hundred, very cost-effective. I will definitely stay at this hotel next time I come to Tongren.

I would rate this hotel as deserving its 4-star rating within China. The location is excellent, being only a few minutes away from Tongren train station. The hotel also offers hourly short stays (with a minimum of 3 hours), which was extremely handy for us. Our trip to Fanjing Mountain was disrupted by heavy rain, and having access to warm showers for the whole family at a fraction of the room cost was extremely valuable. Additionally, as other reviewers have mentioned, the hotel provides a free shuttle to the train station, which is a great plus.

The room is satisfactory. The hardware conditions are converted from an old house. It has everything that should be there. There was no TV in the room at first, but the children wanted to watch it. After the staff debugged it to no avail, the front desk immediately contacted to replace it. I am satisfied. My friend stayed in another room and left something behind. When the hotel found it during cleaning, he contacted us by phone and helped to send it back by express delivery. Thank you. Until he contacted us by phone, my friend had not yet realized that he had forgotten to take something away. Haha, great! I also sent a few photos of the hotel's surrounding environment. This is a gem of a bed and breakfast establishment. We were upgraded to a family style room upon arrival. The room was very large for the two of us. The room was located on the third floor and there is no elevator, but the host graciously carried our luggage to our room. The proximity of the accommodation to the Fangjian Mountain enables us to reach the park area before most other tourists coming from the nearby cities. We were already on our way down the mountain when we see the huge lines of people waiting for the buses and cable cars to come into the park. The accommodation itself is quite impressive. The host and hostess did a good job of renovating to include all the modern amenities of a 5 stars hotel. I would definitely recommend this place!
