Aircon might be helpful in the room we stayed is veto warm. We have an electric fan and still warm. Opening the helps street noise can be heard. The location is very good near old town.

The location is perfect, just a 5-minute walk from the old town, with numerous public transport options next to the hotel. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. However, the room remained hot all the time, and there was no air conditioning. Additionally, the sound isolation in the room was quite poor; we could hear showering, flushing toilets, and even our neighbors coughing, not to mention conversations and the sounds of using Duolingo. Fortunately, our neighbors were relatively quiet at night, so it didn’t affect us too much, but it did prevent us from speaking loudly. Given the price (over 60 euros per night), I expected the gym to be included without extra charges and for there to be a sauna. I was quite disappointed with the facilities.

Hotel was fresh and modern on good location. Definetely would recommend this!

Location is not bad as it is near to the main attraction in Tallinn. It's also walkable from the Ferry Terminal; actually it makes more sense to walk than to take public transport there. Just a bit of a hassle if you have big baggage with you. The hotel is pretty basic, but very impressed by how advanced it is with online check-in and electronic keys. I was just surprised that I was not allowed to use the gym because my 'package' did not include gym access and additional charges would be required. There's also no water boiler or dispenser in the hotel; they say the tap water is safe for consumption.

My holidays would be wonderful

There were two out of about seven staff people who could be bothered to look up and acknowledge guests that walked into the building. I’m not interested in chatting when I walk by. But a simple “Good morning “ shouldn’t be too much to ask.

Hotel rooms are nice, we requested a higher floor and we got changed with no charge. Breakfast was top notch, staff are friendly and helpful. Everything was cool

The Metropol Hotel is located near Old Town (most of the museums, churches and government buildings are located here). It is also near the ferry port; I would recommend visitors to Tallinn to take the two-hour ferry journey to Helsinki. There are two distinct parts to the hotel: the Metropol Spa Hotel (a 4 star hotel with spa and swimming poo)l and the Metropol Hotel (a 3-star hotel). The staff in the Metropol Hotel are very friendy, the rooms are spacious and one can purchase breakfast for €11. I recommend this hotel to visitors

The good bits first.. The Metropol Hotel is located in the town centre and short walk from most attractions. The rooms are clean & warm and so is the lobby and breakfast room - outside temp -3 to -15 C. That's about it.. We booked a family room with sauna but only used the sauna once because most of the heat and all of the smell (wet timber) will end up in the room and it's hard to get rid of. The vents are a nuissence as you can hear conversations coming from other rooms and it's really weird! Check-in was quick but the girl that checked us in didn't even say "Hello!" And neither did anyone else throughout our stay. All staff were looking away when we were crossing paths.. reception, accommodation staff, breakfast staff. It's so cold and unwelcoming.. Breakfast was very poor and i'm 100% sure leftovers weee refrigerated and then served again the next morning and 2nd next and most likely 3rd day too. If you can organise breakfast somewhere else, do it! While beds were made daily and towels were changed daily too, not once have they hoovered/swept/mopped the floor in 5 days. Even after specifically asking for it to be done! Parking is €20 per night (crazy money) but all of the other hotels do it too - it' a Tallinn thing which, in fairness, does make visiting the town a better experience. The Metropol Hotel is a good option for a 1-2 day stay , not longer.

One of the worst hotel I and my family have been. First there is were some bugs in the room while we got there. The receptionist was so rude and giving a lot of attitude. She declined to change the room even after we found like 3 bugs. The same reception forgot to inform us that the front of the hotel is not for parking after I provided here with our car plate number. We got parking fine which really made me angry because they could have just tell us we can’t park there in front of their hotel. Afterwards they claim their parking is 20 euro park night. Just think about that. If you add that 20 euro to the hotel price, just imagine the type of hotel you can get a good 4-star maybe with parking included. Imagine you pay 88 euro per night, now add 20 and see the great hotel suggestion with parking you can get with 110 euro per night. It’s not even a 3-start hotel, it’s like some. 2-star. The hotel , staff , the area is really bad place to be . I will personally advise anyone to avoid them. Especially if you have a car. We had to check out early thank to trip.com and move to another hotel AVOID this hotel simple as ABC

The location is very good, and everything in walking distance. The room was clean but a bit small, the pillows could be more comfortable and I would expect a wardrobe in a 4-star hotel, the bathroom was a bit poor and rundown. Breakfast was ok, no better or worse than other similar budget hotels. Overall hotel was good for a 2-night stay, but I wouldn't rate it as a 4-star.

okay for short term business trip.

Breakfast was satisfactory but we would appreciate some menu changes at different days. Our room view was good. Staff was efficient, supportive and friendly. Plenty of restaurants, supermarkets and drug stores around the hotel. Yet, some areas for their top management to consider: 1. cups and kettle may be provided for every room, and 2. the extra fee for using spa and sauna was 15 Euros per head which we think may be too high for non European travelers, and 3. Gym was charged 5 Euros per head may also be waived, just like most hotels would do in other big cities.
