🌟 A Beautiful Return to a Thoughtful Stay I first stayed at Jian Hotel in 2018 and was drawn to its artistic atmosphere and peaceful design — it truly felt like a hidden gem in Taipei. Coming back this year felt like revisiting a meaningful place. I arrived very late — around 3 AM — and initially had some difficulty checking in. It turned out the hotel had actually sent me the door code in advance, but I couldn’t access my email at the time. Despite the confusion, the staff were incredibly understanding the next day. They not only offered a partial refund but also gave me a kind little gift, which really touched me. Their thoughtful response reminded me why I chose to return. The hotel is just as beautiful and calming as I remember — full of artistic charm, clean lines, and a sense of serenity. I wouldn’t hesitate to come back again. Jian Hotel is more than a place to sleep — it’s an experience.

I have never stayed in such a small single room before - and I loved it! The furniture was cleverly arranged with a top bunk bed underneath which you had a little seating spot with a cushion, a wardrobe, a fridge (witj complimentary water, a kettle (with complimentary tea) and a hairdryer. The bathroom was practical with shower, sink, toilet and free shower gel/shampoo and had a window to the back of the building. It was very quiet and I slept very well. The overall industrial design felt warm due to dark wooden furniture. In the neighbourhood were minimarkets, a temple and Starbucks to be found. Cleaning was available every day upon request.
