Bad wifi, dirty and poorly maintained.
I stayed 5 days at The Vendome East Inn and I felt it was over priced. My room was very dirty with large build ups of dust every where (see photos). The furniture, carpet and walls had stains everywhere.
Connecting to the WiFi requires your TV to be turned on which is incredibly annoying having this bright screen on whenever you need internet. The internet from the TV was also incredibly unstable cutting out constantly. During an hour long video call, the internet disconnected 11 times, often requiring the TV to be restarted.
After raising this issue with the staff I was allowed to connect to the central hotel WiFi which was a bit better, but still didn’t provide a great connection.
The shower was powerful, actually there was no control over the power, just temperature. It was so powerful that it wouldn’t stay hooked on the wall so had to be held. The temperature control was so precise that moving the handle just one degree would change the shower from cold to unbearably hot.
The location isn’t bad, but given the price and poor condition of the hotel it’s hard to recommend this hotel to anyone.
