The location of the Hotel isn't that convenient to go to, so it's recommend to look at their shuttle bus timing or simply book an Uber to ride up the hill.
Each room that you book also comes with a 1x free visit to the outdoor Spa facilities so I highly suggest you to bring a swim wear to go as it's pretty good even at night time.
As for the room it's spacious like other reviews photos have shown but not a lot of people have shown the bathroom/toilet so I'm including it here. It's a very spacious Toilet with the bathtub that has the Onsen water, and the shower head beside the bathtub.

Beitou is awesome. Highly recommend to visit & soak in your private tub . The hotel has private tub & room is clean & comfortable.

The private onsen & public one are both very nice! Feel relaxed after using them.
Tried dinner (a la carte) at 2/f restaurant. Can tell that their chef is very professional & even clam soup, fried veggie & avo burdock roll taste so good.
Breakfast is so-so. Too many carbs & sweet stuff (& not many protein to choose from). Moreover, steamed sweet potatoes & veggie are cold & some with sour taste - so assume they are not fresh or over-cooked.
But overall very positive experience & will find time to visit again.

The room is very spacious with Japanese style of sitting area of chit chat. The private hot spring inside the room is cool as well as the outdoor public hot spring is a different experience. Do take note to bring along your swimming costume to enter the outdoor public. The amenities in the hotel is nice and clean.
There isn’t much choice for dinner at the hotel as there is only 1 Japanese restaurant serving the food. The food is slightly on the high side but the taste is delicious.
The breakfast area is decent with many variety of food.
There is a convenience store nearby which require about 15 mins walk downhill and it’s pretty dark especially at night. Good for staying to enjoy the hot spring and pamper yourself.

Location not convenient, facility ok acceptable, front reception very good customer service and morning breakfast staffs were also not bad. The most worst part of this hotel were the staffs and management in public bath hot springs area. The STUPID system by carrier the basket all around hot springs area while suppose to enjoying also no instruction at changing room for the stupid system. Also very VERY bad attitude of the staffs working at hotspring area, shut off some facilities before closing and keep kicking guests to leave the area at 9:30pm which such should close at 10pm.
The hotel facilities although is aged but still shows luxurious however ruined by the management. Will not come back again and NOT recommended to other since there are a lot of choices with similar pricing around thr area.

Room was spacious and comfortable, even though can see that buildings has a bit of history. But services is good especially when our room has any issues they always solved it as soon as they can .
At first we thought hotel breakfast doesn’t have much selection as others leave reviews like that, but it actually has. A lot of options

Outdated hotel, doesn't look like the pictures much. The washroom was all chipped and scuffed and in need of repair. The only way to turn of the lights was the master switch which turned all power off so couldn't charge phone. The hot springs are fine but nothing worth the price.
