Dark room. It has cockroach.
I have asked to get another room when I felt itchy stayed the room but they said they can’t will do tomorrow -it was never happened. Even though I stayed there for 4 nights, it is not cheap - very bad. I felt like flushing money into the toilet.
Location ok if you are looking for food. A bid far to metro station

The room condition was horrible (dead insect, stained wallpaper and bedsheet, moldy smell of carpet). It’s a far cry from the photos shown on Trip.com. We paid a lot for one night and didn’t expect such quality. Counter staff, Mr. Zhang (our rating on service was inflated solely because of him) told us the hotel was fully booked and he couldn’t arrange a change of room but he got approval to fully refund us. He promptly confirmed with us of our room no. again by phone and at the door. On checking out, we asked when we could expect the refund, he said he couldn’t get through to Trip.com despite repeated tries. His female colleague then interjected and said we should contact Trip.com ourselves and get Trip.com to get in touch with the hotel to settle this refund. Strange arrangement but we did exactly that only to end up with Trip.com keep postponing (5 times as of now) the date on which we should expect the outcome. It’s been a week now and we are still waiting.

On the first day of check-in, the hotel didn't change the bed sheets for us. We told them that there were still lipstick marks, makeup stains and eyelashes on both beds. They agreed, but I'm not sure why they didn't change them. However, the location is convenient.

Hotel is within Ximen and walking distance to famous breakfast spot "Yong He soy milk". It has very beautiful mountain view.
The downside is the noise coming from the corridors and the rooms nearby. If your neighbour talks loudly, you can hear them clearly.
There is daily housekeeping.

Near at ximen and they always clean the room and replace bottle water everyday. This hotel is for a budgetarian traveler so dont expect too much but it serves it purpose (to sleep). Also, kindly bring your tooth brush & toothpaste due to it cost 10NTD. The room has shampoo and bodywash but if you can bring your own toiletries please bring it with you.

The check in process was sort slow. Unlike all other hotels and my previous visit to the same hotel Presenting my passport was not enough to start the Check in process. They asked for the booking reference. Don't know what they did on the computer, at no point they explain what they were doing or why it's taking so long. There is a definate downgrade in service since my previous visit.
