Best Stockholm Hotels

"We really appreciated the central location this hotel had in Stockholm. The hotel is located literally 20 m from the Arlanda Express exit and is close to major sites like Stockholm's Central Station, city hall, and many good restaurants. There is tram stations nearby that can help you get to Gamla Stan, the Royal Palace and the museum area. We liked the quiet room we had and it always seemed to be at the right temperature during our stay in December. The room was a bit compact but was packed full of stuff - we had two chairs, a large TV, a desk, a kettle and a small closet to hang jackets in. As a couple, we wish we booked the room with a slightly bigger bed but we had no problems sleeping through the night. We also wish the electrical was better planned in the room because the light switch and plug locations were not convenient - there was a reading lamp set pretty high above the bed, there wasn't a plug in on both sides of the bed and the majority of plugs in the room were under the desk space so our kettle had to be used on the floor. The bathroom was nice and clean at this hotel. They had some nice sage scented products including conditioner, shampoo and body soap. The towels were very absorbent and soft. It was easy to get hot water and the shower had very good pressure. The shower wall was not bolted to the ground and there wasn't a tight seal but water only leaked out once. The breakfast was a highlight at this hotel. They had a large dining area on the ground floor near the lobby area and they offer a large variety of items. They had a hot food area with pancakes, chicken sausage, bacon, eggs, potatoes and vegetables with all the accompaniments like lingonberry sauce, whipped cream, mustard, maple syrup, etc. They had a coffee machine, large tea selection, smoothies, ginger/lemon shots, juices and on Saturday they offered us some non-alcoholic champagne. We appreciated the variety of cheese, pastries, fruit and cold items in the breakfast area as well. It was a good start to the day each day we were here. Check in went smoothly and they have options to do a digital check in and to check out online. The lobby area had a games area, a bar and a lounge space. They also had a Christmas station setup at the back of the lobby which had candy for the children on Saturday. Behind the hotel is an Ice Bar which is promoted at the hotel. If we find ourselves back in Stockholm we would consider this hotel again or recommend it to friends and family who visit."

"Having stayed in so many hotels, this is really a hotel that I can’t fault! It's the kind of place you'd stay at again! The location is great, within walking distance to the palace, the old city, and the shopping mall. The hotel furnishings are elegant and exquisite, and the beds and quilts are extremely comfortable. The breakfast and dinner in the restaurant on the first floor are delicious. The reception staff are friendly!"

"It is impeccable. The hotel is located in a quiet high-end residential area. The hotel itself has been in two buildings for years. Each has a public area. The first building to enter the door has a front desk and a public rest area. A restaurant, the second building has a public area on the first two or three floors. There is another restaurant on the first floor. All the public area decorations are very comfortable. Fresh cakes and water are provided in the lounge area every day, as well as alcohol. Liquor needs to be paid. You write the variety and room number on a book next to it. The restaurant is very delicious, you need to make an appointment in advance, the first restaurant is relatively simple, you can choose 1 to 5 dishes, eat 5 dishes per capita at about 1,000 yuan, the second restaurant is 7 dishes, the price is more expensive, because we have no appointment at the local festival, it should be good. We ate two nights at the first restaurant, two completely different menus. Breakfast is relatively simple, but the quality is very good, all are made now, can not be ordered, very fresh ingredients. The Swedes are more reserved and will not show too warm, but very friendly, what you need to tell them directly, they will try their best to help, there are some snacks in the room that are free, drinks are for money, no kettle, but you can ask the front desk. We didn't book a large room (very popular), the basic room type is relatively small, but there are some, even a full set of skin care products. All in all, this is the best small boutique hotel I have ever stayed in, and we bought a lot of organic toiletries for the hotel when we left."

"The hotel is located in the bustling business district in the city center, with convenient transportation. The hotel is warm and comfortable. You can have a cup of free coffee or tea in the lobby and feel comfortable just looking out at the street."

"Convenient location - next to the metro, there are signs at the exit where to go, it makes the way much easier, the dinner in the restaurant was very tasty, the linen and bed are wonderful, in the bathroom there is wonderful shampoo and conditioner Rituals - ideal for long hair"

"Best hotel by far during our trip in Northern Europe. The doorman (from East Europe) who helped us from arrival, to taxi service is super friendly and helpful. He even told us not to take any taxis pulling over at the hotel as they most definitely will over charge us. The location of the hotel is the best and easy to get access to the old town just on foot. Housekeeping team is very professional too and kept our room clean and tidy. We feel bad that we forgot leaving some tips to the room attendant who cleaned our room during the stay which we were planning to do it. We have already recommended this hotel to our family in Canada."

"Chose the hotel for its close proximity to the Central Train Station. Stayed four nights. Room are clean but limited space for two luggages. Amenities lacking… no fridge, no bottled water, no toiletries apart from all-in-one type. No kettle in my room. Services average. They didn’t change our towels or clear the trash as requested on the third day. However they do clean the room for our last night stay. Lower your expectation by at least 2 notches in this country if you are coming from Asia. The saving grace is the breakfast, good choices, but cooked protein limited to just bacon and eggs."
