"We liked the hotel. The staff was very friendly, they speak Russian, and everyone was kind, sweet, and smiling. We couldn't book a reservation through Trip (a different hotel) for the first night because we arrived at night (this is a question about the app, by the way). They just let us in here because we didn't have Georgian money, and we couldn't find any exchange offices that night. Basically, we found ourselves in a tough situation. The guy at reception said we could stay the night and pay in the morning. The breakfast was delicious, the hotel's location was perfect, and the view was beautiful. Now, the downsides are that it's freezing in September, and the room is very cold. We used a Dyson to warm ourselves up. 😁 Perhaps it's the summer or winter when the heating is on that makes it warm. The rooms are clean, but the sink takes a long time to drain and leaks. It wasn't a big deal for us for two days, but otherwise, everything was fine. I recommend it!"

"A room with a balcony and a view of Mount Kazbek. The view is simply stunning, but the balcony is small, making it difficult for two people to enjoy a glass of wine. The room is spacious, but there was no closet or even shelves for clothes. There was a hanger stand with a couple of hangers. The central air conditioning worked, making the room fresh and cool. Breakfast was missing whole-bean coffee; otherwise, it was a typical buffet. You can have breakfast on the terrace overlooking Mount Kazbek."

"Visited this hotel as part of a group tour of the Caucasus. The drive there was pretty lengthy but it was worth it. The dinner and breakfast were good. The group had a set menu at dinner but when I told them I was a veggie they didn’t hesitate to provide me with something different. The young man behind the bar spoke excellent English and was so helpful The best thing about this hotel was location location location. To wake up to the view of the mountain from your bedroom window was one of the hilights of the hotel So why only 4 stars I hear you say? The hotel lacked any atmosphere and the decor a little dull. But that view was worth 10 stars"

"The hotel room itself was honestly quite mediocre. Both the room and the bathroom were tiny. We paid over 2000 (and even upgraded to a mountain-view room!), yet the facilities definitely didn't justify the price. However, what truly makes this hotel special (and pricey) is its absolutely stunning view. You get an unobstructed, panoramic vista of the mountains opposite, and you can even spot the church on the hilltop. Especially as evening descends, dining and chatting at the outdoor restaurant was incredibly comfortable. What's more, the restaurant was surprisingly affordable and delicious. This was particularly evident because earlier we had tried sushi from a shop outside the hotel, which was both overpriced and awful. Suddenly, the hotel's food tasted heavenly! My son even "cried tears of joy" over his burger."

"✅Liked · We booked a family room which had somehow happened to be only 5GBP costlier than the standard room, so why not. There was indoor swimming pool which had just the perfect temperature, so I loved it. The balcony at the front is shared with all other family rooms, so keep the curtains closed. The restaurant is great. The food at dinner, and for breakfast buffet was great as well. ❌Disliked · There is a pothole ridden road leading up to the hotel, no decent parking space and if you park in front of the hotel to unload your luggage entrance, you'll block off the whole road so have to quickly leave and park elsewhere. There is however a decent bit of space outside the hotel. Also, the hotel is at least 20 steps down and 50 steps away from the road you have to walk a tiny bit, but they have ramp to roll the luggage on. The family room skylight can't be blacked out. So, you are going to be woken up really early if the sun rises early. So, use eye mask to sleep. The family rooms were at -1 level, and there was no elevator, but they had a bell boy to help with the luggage. The swimming pool is small, but decent sized, so don't expect to be doing freestyle from end to end. It's more for the relaxing and looking out through the windows. There is also a sauna although the charge to use it is 70 lari for 1 hour for the whole sauna. Ridiculous."
