"The views of the snow-capped mountains from the rooms are absolutely paramount, a truly prime spot at the highest elevation. Even the surrounding forest scenery is delightful. Though the rooms are on the cozier side, they are thoughtfully designed and well-equipped with everything you might need, making them perfectly functional.
The hotel's restaurant deserves a special mention; it's truly exceptional. The breakfast buffet was extensive and delicious, and every dinner dish we tried was outstanding – absolutely no disappointments. It’s a perfect pairing of stunning views and incredible cuisine.
A staff member named Nike truly stood out. He was incredibly friendly and genuinely enthusiastic, proactively helping with luggage and offering useful tips on weather conditions and safety. His passion for hospitality was truly evident.
I sincerely hope to have the chance to return to Kazbegi and extend my stay by a couple more days."

"It wasn’t a bad hotel but with this price of staying I could find a nicer hotel. Facilities were quite old. Our bed was not in a good condition. The floor made of wood which make a lot of noise while walking. I can foot steps of hotel guests every time. However The view from the room was amazing and the breakfast was delicious."

"The room is very clean and cozy, with heating. It's so nice to come back from hiking! The view is great, you can directly see the town and Kazbek Snow Mountain from the outdoor balcony. The landlord is very considerate and will care about your schedule and make all preparations in advance. I will stay here again next time!"

"The hotel in the small town of Kazbeki is located on the hillside and the Kazbek Mountain is far away. Checking in on the evening of September 22, the hotel is a single building, standardized rooms and facilities, simple and bright, the weather is cold, but the floor heating is warm. Breakfast is specially prepared for four of us, which is great! There are parking spaces and elevators. Recommended stay."

"This was the first guesthouse I chose in Kazbekistan. The location was actually quite good; it was very close to the minibus station and other public transportation hubs, about a 10-minute walk. There was also a market nearby, seemingly unremarkable from the outside, perched on a high platform. Many tourists bought food and water there because there weren't many restaurants, making it difficult to choose. The main advantage was the location. Lying in bed watching the sky slowly turn red and rise was incredibly pleasant.
This place didn't have an elevator, and the soundproofing was terrible. With guests checking in at night and early risers in the morning, you could hear a lot of noise, waking me up. You can't expect too much from a guesthouse."

CCascadianVikingThis is one of the best places I've stayed in a long time. The room is new and very clean, there is hot and cold drinking water in the foyer, and the views out the window are world class. It can be a little hard to find, but after you see the 10 Stefatsminda sign, go into the metal door (see photos). The photo of Gergeti Trinity Church I included was taken from the room. It's incredible. I have only good things to say about this place. It's amazing.

AAnonymous UserIf you don't rent a car yourself, it's better not to book it. It's far from the center, and it's a big uphill. It's very tiring to walk with luggage. It's not very convenient to take a taxi. If you want to book a car, it's best to book it one day in advance~
If you don't speak English, it's better not to book it. The cabin is unmanaged. When you walk in, there is no window in one room, and one wash basin is removed. I thought it was closed and abandoned~ I called to tell which room it was, and then I went in to get the key~
If you are worried about safety, it's better not to book it. It depends on luck whether the door lock is locked. We locked the door at night and found that it could be opened easily the next morning~
If you don't care about the above three points and don't have high requirements for accommodation conditions, the cabin is mainly cheap, with hot water and heating, right at the foot of the snow mountain, and the environment is still great~ Of course, the wooden cabins here are all very good. It is recommended to choose one close to the center~ Convenient transportation, food and drink~

在入住當天收到屋主消息説有緊急情況，心裏咯噔一下心想不會住不了吧，回覆給對方我的郵箱，但是沒有被再回復。借了當地人的電話打給房主，但對方也講不清楚。收到郵件的時候已經在去的路上了，本來有選項可以當天返程的，但是下大雨還是決定留下來了。
最後還是選擇去實地看看，位置就是比較偏離主街比較遠，冒着雨吭哧吭哧爬上坡到了原地址以後才看到房主本人，他説在維修沒法入住，願意帶我們去別的小屋入住。最後開車帶我們來了這家在主街旁邊的cottages LIZA，外形很一致，裏面衞生條件一般，也是小兩層的別墅，看在交通比較方便的份上選擇住下來了

You can warm the room with a radiator, but there is no air conditioner indoors, so I don't know what it will be in summer.

The view is also very conditional there, the mountain can be seen in a clear weather in a piece of window, because the window goes out into the yard and on the corner of the host house, but the entrance is separate. In general, a place suitable for staying there, but I wouldn't choose it for the second time. Inside there is a leaflet with the prices for the tour, they are more than what you will get just from drivers on the square, there are always a few tourists waiting, there are problems with the arrival there not even in difficult places.
