Minimalistic hotel rooms well located off Silent Beach in Tangalle. Nice communal pool and a small amount of rooms makes the villa quite tranquil and never busy. The staff are wonderful and the chef cooks delicious food which is all very reasonably priced. I just recommend you stay away from beef in this country as it’s quite inedible, this seems a common theme whether you’re buying a cheap burger or an expensive beef dish. The only detractions to the accomodation was a foul odour emanating from the shower in the mornings, but it did dissipate thereafter. Also I find there is little point of an in-room safe if it isn’t bolted to the ground. You can literally walk in and pick the safe up and exit the room making it redundant. Rooms are well appointed and well priced for the area given the two luxury alternatives are the Amanwella resort which is quite dated and much more expensive and the Anantara Peace Haven which is more expensive but also a fantastic product. The local beach here is beautiful. I would stay here again, but I expect rooms will be hard to come by as the country lacks 5 star resorts at this time. I would stay here again no doubt and recommend the property.

Very enjoyed dinner from the chef, a quiet place for your meditative rest

A pleasant hotel, a single villa with a private pool, although a group of black langur monkeys ”foot bath” in my pool (the service staff worked hard to help drive away the monkeys), and a wild elephant walking from the beach past our house below, The whole atmosphere is private and beautiful. The hotel is a three-meal package a day. The cooking and presentation are definitely star-rated. The chef sees that we don't eat much at night (in fact, the portion is too large to finish), immediately ask if it is not suitable, and temporarily formulate a menu for our lunch for the next day. After staying in major star hotels, such a wild luxury hotel will not have a experience!

Amanwella Great experience! There are 30 suites, chatting with the housekeeper. In the past, Europeans, Americans and Indians came the most. This year, Chinese people came a lot. November to April is their peak tourist season, and when the house prices are at their highest, prices can go up. The service is nothing to say. The beach is not suitable for swimming in October. We recommend the safari park and lagoon projects. You can see many birds and animals. The Bhutanese manager is very nice. If you have any needs, tell him and he will arrange it directly. The disadvantage is that it is a bit far from the airport, a 3-3.5 hour drive. Unlike Aman in other countries, airport pick-up and drop-off require additional fees.

It is just two next door to jetwing yala, this is a primitive one, the modern one, here is a small single-family room, outside the room is the forest of the national park, it is said that animals may be seen. In general, the hotel here is suitable for people who are not afraid of bugs and prefer the original environment, because there are really too many small bugs in the room, flies, mosquitoes, flying insects and gecko. After staying for one night, I found three geckos running fast, and I was still a little scared. 😂. The facilities are OK, but the electricity is unstable. The power is cut off several times. Although the call is very fast, the hot water is too small. There is no separate restaurant. If you eat, you will take the car at the front desk to the next house for dinner. We booked this at the last minute due to a change of plans and so just went by the previous reviews but we are so glad we did! It’s a small hotel but with lovely large rooms with private pools.  We loved the sunset walk to the beautiful wild beach and our trip to Yala.  We didn’t have any problems with wildlife in the shower and loved the feeling of being in such a natural environment.  The real selling point of the hotel however is their staff and every one of them went out of their way to help us have a great stay.  Thanks again!

Actually found the rubber band falling down in front of the guests in the bathroom. The whole is okay, the meal time is relatively fixed, starting at 7:30 in the evening, I was very hungry. Ask the manager to order the safari at the front desk, and the breakfast is packed in the morning, which is relatively rich. Basically enough time to come back to bath and check out.

A very convenient hotel 30 mins from Yala national park for Safari (which the were kind enough to arrange for us). Nice pool with views over the lagoon and a great spot to sit and watch the sunset, birds flying home for bed/bats on their way out for the night! Staff are great, food was good.
