GGuest UserThe kind valet and customer service staff greeted us upon arrival and helped us transfer our luggage efficiently. Our room was well appointed and clean so we slept in the lap of luxury every night in spite of the street racing that provided background noise. The complimentary breakfast offered many options and the coffee was excellent. The hotel is located in the midst of numerous restaurants and stores so there is plenty to do within walking distance. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

AaaajjieThe view is very good, you can see the lake and the city on the lakeshore. You can also watch the sunrise when the weather is good. The furnishings in the room are not particularly high-end, but they are quite clean and suitable for traveling with family. (The only drawback is that the air conditioner is very noisy, but it won't be very cold when it is turned off.)

Service: 4/5
The Night staff was awesome, hospitality was IMPECCABLE! From the receptionist , bellhop helper, security, you name it! I wish I could remember their names but the receptionist was a young African American male about early-mid 20s! The morning crew and afternoon crew need some pointers from the night shift staff because they need some work.
Rooms: 3/5
Our room had 2 full size beds, they were nice and spacious for all 4 of us (3 adults & 1 child). No microwave was an inconvenience but it wasn’t too big of a deal since our short was stay.
Overall I would rate our stay a 4/5 (Would have been 3.5/5 had it not been for the service we experienced when checking in.

GGuest UserThe hotel is in a good location, next to Millennium Park, and the rooms facing the park have a wide view. There is a supermarket and a restaurant downstairs, which is quite convenient. The room is average, large in size, but the facilities are relatively old.
However, the hotel has no swimming pool, only a gym, and no breakfast restaurant. These two points are deducted, which also surprised me a little, thinking that these two items should be standard for luxury hotels.
I booked a room with breakfast, because there is no restaurant, and I can only eat by delivering the meal to the room. But the hotel breakfast rules are unreasonable. Although there is a breakfast limit of 31 dollars per person per day (corresponding to the breakfast set of 30-31 dollars on the menu). But this limit does not include the delivery fee, service fee, and tax. It means that you have to pay 30 dollars out of your pocket to have a normal breakfast.
When checking out, after reporting the unreasonable policy to the hotel, the hotel promised to waive this part of the fee in the bill, but the bill received after arriving at the airport showed that the full breakfast fee was charged (including the price of the set itself), nearly 100 dollars per day. Finally, through the continuous communication between Ctrip and the agent, this part of the fee was refunded. The result is good, but the process is tortuous.

DDanson17I've never had such an experience before. In my whole life I barely give 2 stars feedback to property, honestly I just wanna give 1 star feedback but the residents are friendly and nice that why I add one more star for them. The location is really convenient, room setting is super clean and organization. However, the black old lady who works at front desk is really mean and rude, she tried to bully me when I was checking in. Her service attitude likes she's guest I'm staff, and I owed her money, too. After check in my mood is really down, so I can't get any reason is why I pay almost $400 a night come here to get treatment like that. If you come to check Chicago I won't recommend this hotel for, or if you like the hotel but don't come to check in around 11am-1pm on Saturday！

AAnonymous UserThe room is in a good location, located in the center of Chicago. The surrounding area is relatively safe and you can experience the city scenery of Chicago very well. It is also convenient to go to the surrounding attractions.
There is a McDonald's downstairs, which is also very convenient.
The sanitation environment of the room is very good, but the sound insulation feels a little poor.

DD2757****The hotel is in a great location, with easy access to restaurants and shops nearby. The room was quite spacious. The facilities were average, a bit dated, and the soundproofing was okay. Breakfast is not included, and a $24 daily resort fee is required. This fee only covers Wi-Fi, gym access, phone calls, and bottled water provided by the front desk.

However, Ctrip completely failed to inform me that, besides the $15 city tax, there was also a $4 miscellaneous fee, and what's even more infuriating, a compulsory $25 charge. The staff member who checked me in deliberately withheld this information. After checking out, my card was then hit with exorbitant charges.

GGuest UserI was to pay 117 at check in per room. Hotel made me par 285 for something I didn’t have time to use which was tickets to attractions and that fee included a fee for checking out. ..49 a room for coupons snd 65 per room check out fee. Our car was too tall for the 85.00 a night parking but the garage at the corner only charged 58.00 a night. I wouldn’t recommend driving downtown Chicago unless you like being stressed out. I’m asking trip.com to reimburse the difference between the 117 and 185.
