Find 4-Star Hotels in Panglao Municipality

It's a bit far from Alona Beach, so it's a great place to spend some quiet time. It offers good value for money, and the staff are very friendly. There are hardly any Korean tourists; instead, you'll find many long-stay European guests. I had the pool all to myself. However, the front desk closes early, so it's best to contact them in advance if you have a late check-in or check-out.

I could have stayed for another 4 days but I changed my hotel to another one instead, - here are few things make me not wanting to extend my stay: Before I go on the list, I need to clarify that this hotel does not give permission for TRIP to run the listing, as I was told by the staff. If you book this hotel via trip, then it is trip who books through agoda on your behalf. Be aware of this. If Trip ever say they will contact the property on your behalf, it is a lie. 1. It was extremely frustrating when communicating with the hotel staff. They are nice, and polite but not helpful and not reachable when needed, they would be very polite to say ”sorry” at every single basic request abd they would do nothing about it. And when calling reception from the room, there is hardly anyone answering the call 2. The hotel is not well equipped. 3.The breakfast is at MIST, but not served at the MIST standard, for example, considering the price of this hotel, not expecting to be given instant coffee for breakfast which gives people the shake.

The accommodation is pretty. But the AC was absolutely not cool..^^ And the pool water.. they sprinkle some kind of powder at night ㅠㅠ I stayed here for 0.5 nights, at HNTY for 2 nights, and here again for 1.5 nights, right? I just.. regretted not staying at HNTY for 4 nights instead. The breakfast was good at other places, so why bother with this one ㅠ And it's quite a distance from that McDonald's and Jollibee!! Alona Beach is close, but it's near the very end. Honestly, if you're already here, just go for a better hotel. There's no elevator. I brought a shower filter, and it caught some kind of moss? Or seaweed? But it's definitely not terrible. If you're staying for a long time, book this place for island hopping and then go to a place like HNTY to just enjoy the hotel facilities.

The room type I booked didn't match the pictures online; there was no sofa or coffee table. There's an old building and a newly renovated one (P2). My male companion was assigned to the new building, while my female friend and I were put in the old one. It felt like they were judging us. Plus, there were ants in the room – definitely wouldn't recommend it. The location is bad, far from the beach, and there are no convenience stores nearby. Also, checking in early was much more expensive than the same-day rate.

The hotel is located near the beach, as well as many cafes and restaurants. The hotel itself has two wings, one of which has a nice pool. The staff was friendly. I would stay here again.

Unavailable sir. That about sums up my experience anytime I inquired about something on the food menu. Prices are high, as any hotel would be, but to have so many options unavailable such as all sodas is wild. No soap and shampoo holder in shower which is a baffling design choice. Bed is one of the firmest I've slept on while the pillows are some of the softest and thinnest, weird combo. Thought they had a lazy pool to float around the ring but no tubes and no current soo bit bummed. Location is a little out there with rocky roads and not much grab availability since most do not want to drive their cars down there. That said - Wifi was reliable, air con worked well and everyone was super friendly. 50/50 on returning in the future.. Need to fix the restaurant supply issues and service in the restaurant.

The main advantage of this hotel is its location – close to the beach and the city center, yet set back from the main road. This means it's quiet and peaceful, but everything is still within walking distance. The rooms are spacious, and the linens and towels are clean. Hot water, a fridge, air conditioning, and a hairdryer – all the modern conveniences are there. Room cleaning is available upon request. The pool is clean, and the grounds are constantly maintained. Breakfast is à la carte and quite filling. There's a slight sewage smell in the bathroom, but we somehow managed to get used to it. Everything else is very good for the price.

After a very bad experience at the freedive academy Panglao where nothing I saw online was matching the reality, I searched for a better experience for my last day in Philippines! I was expecting the worst scenario here at this hotel too but surprisingly it changed my mind a bit about the nightmare I had before. The room I had, super spacious! All clean, very relaxing place. The only issues are the mosquitoes, they should have the anti-mosquito liquid in the rooms. Besides that, all went smooth, very sad that I booked the academy ultra inflated price pack that destroyed my trip and lost my time while I could have just booked a resort like this :)

A peaceful retreat! We will definitely be back! If you are looking for a true escape to unwind and recharge, this resort is absolute perfection. The location is ideal because it is tucked away from the crowded resort areas, offering a uniquely quiet and serene atmosphere. Thanks to the peaceful surroundings, I enjoyed some of the best quality sleep and rest I have had in a long time. A huge bonus is its close proximity to South Farm, where we enjoyed incredibly delicious food. To top it all off, the staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout our entire stay. We truly loved our time here and will definitely be back!

Cleanliness is a given, and the shuttle bus runs on time and the staff are friendly! Thanks to them, I have never been this satisfied with a place to stay during my many trips to Bohol. I was able to enjoy more activities by saving on tuk-tuk costs, and there are quite a few great restaurants nearby where you can eat without even having to go to Alona Beach. Delivery is also excellent, and the breakfast is pretty good 😉 (Make sure to try the pandesal bread that occasionally arrives around lunchtime!) The hotel I booked for my subsequent Cebu trip actually had issues with cleanliness and bugs, making this Cebu trip a place that kept me thinking about Bohol 💦💦 I personally feel like I don't necessarily need to go to Cebu anymore, and I will be telling my close diver friends about this place far and wide haha. I visited with colleagues from work, and they have already praised the place so much that they plan to definitely stay at La Medi for future bookings. I'll be back again!!
