Great
JJoe0412I can see why this place gets good reviews. Wonderfully friendly service for the most part. Comfortable beds, locker and privacy curtains. Decently clean. Ok wifi. Cargills across the street. Great optional extra breakfast. Those are the pros.
Cons. I booked a 4 bed and was given a 6 with no explanation. The top bunk is very hard to climb up to with an awful step ladder. One shower and toilet per room. No communal hangout spot.
Overall it's value for money and if you're out all day and just need a bed for the night then its perfectly OK.
GGuest UserI had a wonderful stay at this hotel, everything was perfect. The staff are incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. The reception team especially made me feel comfortable and well taken care of throughout my stay. If you’re thinking about booking, don’t hesitate! this is a great place to stay!
SSana KThe hotel is clean and 15 minutes to the train station. But the SERVICE here is the worst. My room was opposite the restaurant. In the restaurant they sing every day until the morning. I felt like I was at a concert in the front row. The noise of drums and electric guitar did not let me sleep. I called the reception, they said they would call me, but they didn’t it.The next day, after check out. They didn’t apologize and didn’t even say goodbye. Cause they didn’t care, since my reservation had already ended. I really regretted staying there. It does not even pull 3 stars
HHussain NafizI recently stayed at Anarva Hotel and had an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff went out of their way to ensure I felt welcome and comfortable. The rooms were modern, spacious, and impeccably clean, with beautiful decor that added to the relaxing atmosphere. The amenities, especially the spa and pool area, were top-notch, providing the perfect place to unwind.
The hotel’s location was ideal, offering easy access to nearby attractions, yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful and private. I also have to mention the dining experience—delicious food with a great variety of local and international options. Every meal was a treat!
Overall, Anarva Hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable stay. I will definitely be returning on my next visit!
AAlvin RichThe hotel room is tidy, but the service is lacking I asked for a dinner plate with no reply The phone to reception is not working WiFi is bad and TV can't connect Very disappointed

AAnonymous UserThis hotel, from its name to its decor, is very colonial. I booked it directly on Ctrip, and the price was great, but the cleanliness was worrying – the bathroom was full of cockroach nymphs 🪳. The TV was so ancient that I hadn't heard that loud, explosive shutdown sound in ages, it cracked me up 😂. The South Asian guy at the front desk was handsome and attentive; he even asked to take a photo with me. The original site was a Dutch governor's residence, later converted into a British barracks in 1837. On November 5, 1875, it was redeveloped into the Grand Oriental Hotel. No wonder there are old government offices nearby, and the hotel is adorned with banners celebrating its 150th anniversary.
