Nice staycation at one of the 4-star hotels in the heart of Semarang, near Simpang Lima. It's a cool new hotel, clean, and has a strategic location. Right next to the hotel, there are plenty of food options, like Tegal goat satay and authentic Semarang Hapkie noodles, plus a Superindo supermarket across the street. I often stay at this hotel chain for business trips. The breakfast menu has a good variety, including dim sum. The only downside is that the rooms don't have wardrobes, drawers, or anything like that, so there's no space to store belongings. One more important thing: please offer more attractive big discounts so I'll always book through vendors like Trip.com.

Location quiet good, not far from simpang lima. Reception staff very kind and fast response. The very downside from this hotel is facilities in terrible condition. Small pool, all the gym equipment is not working and nobody standby at the gym to solve my problem. Hotel need to consider to renovate their gym

Well-Equipped Facilities, Though Showing Some Age: The room was spacious, and the bedding was very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. While it's clear the hotel has been around for a while and the decor is more classic and traditional, the overall cleanliness was spotless, and maintenance was excellent. The hotel's pool and gym were also very clean, perfect for relaxing after a busy day.

Not the first time of staying in Aston.All the staffs are friendly and helpful. A varity of choice for breakfast. The only compliant is the water quility of swimming pool. When diving into water, a lot of mold/mildew can be saw. When you take a look on the drain tunnel on the edge side of swimming pool, you know where the mold is from.

Fantastic location, as it is behind Lawang Sewu & directly next to a mall, which makes finding food very easy. The Hotel is modern & clean. The staff were also friendly & provided good service. Highly recommended

Overall that's good... Only infant f lobby image no good, because car driving in and out, road narrow.....central driving in to car, maybe no good according to Cina ” fengshui ”...little comment.

Check in process took so long, at 3:30 pm the room was still not ready, after being push to be ready, they gave me a smoking room and it was at the very end no. 919. The room smelled of cigarettes. The towels were bad and stained, the TV and room furniture were old. Valet parking is available, breakfast is just standard, not worth staying at this hotel.

MG Suites is an old hotel, so I understood that. However, I felt a bit uncomfortable because the curtains were dirty, moldy, and looked really old, like they'd been there forever. It wasn't just the curtains, the sofa was the same. Also, the chair facing the kitchen completely sank when you sat on it, like it had no support left. It was still soft and comfortable, but definitely old and dirty. The mattress was still good to sleep on, even though the sheets weren't white anymore, more like a brownish tint. One pillowcase was fine, but the other was already brownish. But overall, everything else was okay, and the access was easy.
