This hotel is a highlight of this trip. I originally thought of this place as a short stop, but I didn't expect such a big surprise.
The hotel is a house hidden in the woods, facing the lake, very quiet; the hotel room facilities are comfortable and warm, and also very spacious; the breakfast is very rich, with a variety of choices; there is a parking space, which is very convenient; the hotel owner is very warm and thoughtful, and helped us book a restaurant for dinner.
It is a very suitable place for vacation, relaxation, and emptying.

Guest UserIm absolutely disappointed in the end. They owe me 17,95£ for a canceled whole breakfast. The man on the reception couldn’t give it back to me and they left him alone without any help… He even wanted to charge me 23£ instead. It was absolutely awful. I needed to leave for my flight so in total I got no money back. The Rooms are not well cleaned and even hair was in my bed. I want my money back! This is not over yet.

Guest UserThis was the most spacious and modern hotel I've seen while traveling in the UK. There's a river right outside, and the river view is absolutely stunning. The only minor issue was that the bathroom felt a bit off-putting; otherwise, everything was impeccable.
The breakfast was also incredibly delicious, with a wonderful Scottish flavor! Since we had to leave very early for the Isle of Skye, we asked the staff for breakfast boxes to go, which was fantastic! The location is also excellent, only about a 15-minute walk to many of the meeting points for GetYourGuide tours.
Finally, when we were leaving for the airport, we didn't have a car, and it's quite hard to get an Uber here. So, we asked the front desk staff to help us call a taxi, and the price was very reasonable – a really thoughtful service!

I chose a hotel near Loch Ness during the trip in the Highlands. When I checked in, it was drizzling and dark. The driver almost drove to the next door according to the navigation. It didn't seem to be the first time I met. I told us the direction of the hotel friendly. The lights were quickly seen on the dark trail, and the English country villas came into view. The front desk of the hotel was not big, the fire in the front hall was red, and the haze was warm. The room is a separate farmhouse next to the main building. It is on the sandy stone path and opens the door. The temperature of the room is warm and bright, as if returning home.
Open the door in the morning, the fresh air is coming, the morning light is shining, and everything is quiet when looking at the green mountains in the distance. Breakfast must be English style, a single order of a freshly made English country full meal or Benedict is a good choice. Not enough to order a buffet meal. Or croissants or cheese or fruit. It is always so rushed by tourists, and they are on the road after breakfast.

The hotel is far from the city center, but it is convenient for self-driving and has a good environment. The room is old and old-fashioned, with poor sound insulation, but it is still relatively clean. The breakfast is more English, but also has Scottish characteristics, with several different choices. I had dinner once in the hotel, and it felt average, not worth recommending.

SuzieQueLocated along the River Ness and not far from the city center. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was very good - full Scottish breakfast. The bed was extremely comfortable as I slept rather well. I stayed in the main building which had older decoration but as I was out and about so much it didn’t matter to me. I would definitely stay again the next visit to Inverness!

Evening event dinner was at best poor. Starter which should have been hot was cold, main course just warm, the desert had run out by the time our table was served.
The hotel toilets were in need of an attendant checking regularly .
We ended up laughing about it with references to faulty towers.
However our room was beautiful, clean, well presented, the bed was very comfortable. We had a great night sleep.
At breckfast the arm of my chair was loose and lifted up when I would go to move my chair in/out from the table. When I was looking around the continental breckfast counter I could hear a male member of the kitchen staff shouting and swearing using the F word, not at all what I expected from any Hotel.
Lasting impression I would not rush back.

I asked for a quiet room and was placed on 1st floor however in a room closest to the main road with lots of traffic noise and there was construction going on nearby with constant drilling and noise until 4am so I never managed to sleep for most of the night, meaning that I couldn’t get up early to use the facilities.
It’s not the staffs fault, but just be careful when booking.

Guest UserThe location is quite good — only around 20 minutes by car from Loch Ness town. Our cabin was the one all the way at the top, overlooking the sheep and cow farms ahead, with a small water stream running beside it, which made the whole place feel really peaceful and relaxing.
The cabin itself was spacious, cosy, and clean. However, there are no amenities provided, so make sure to bring everything you may need, such as shower gel, shampoo, etc. There is also only one small towel provided per person, so I’d recommend bringing your own if you have space in your luggage.
There is no WiFi, but we did have 4G signal throughout our stay, which was helpful.
The shower was excellent, with different settings and perfect water temperature. Just keep in mind that the hot water does run out, and it takes a few hours to heat up again.
The only downside for us was the bed, which was not the most comfortable as it sank in the middle.
