Great
Zzllfay****The hotel's overall hardware facilities are quite good. It's an apartment-style hotel, perfect for cooking your own meals, and each floor has different themed activity areas. I happened to check in during Oktoberfest, and they offered a complimentary beer, which I didn't drink because I was in a hurry to meet friends for dinner. BUT! And remember this BUT!
1. I think it's a ridiculous clause that they charge you a week in advance and then you can't cancel. Why can't I cancel a week beforehand? It's just incomprehensible.
2. Room 430 needs some serious repairs. First, the exhaust fan above the kitchen kept making a constant noise. Then, the door itself started making a wind-like sound. I went to the front desk every day to report it. On the first night, they told me to take out the key card and it would stop. And yes, it stopped, but am I supposed to not turn on the lights? Not charge my devices? On the second day, a technician came and fixed the kitchen exhaust fan; it stopped making noise when the kitchen light was off. However, the room door continued to make that wind-like noise intermittently. And the kitchen fridge sounded like a tractor – so noisy! I'm someone who absolutely hates noise, and hotels in Europe are generally quite quiet. This is truly the first time I've encountered a hotel room where everything makes a noise.
Of course, I want to commend Trip.com here. After I complained, they negotiated with the hotel, and the hotel offered a complimentary day's breakfast (the breakfast was just okay, but a plus was the Munich white sausage). Trip.com also handled my request very professionally. However, this hotel is truly a mixed bag. I stayed for 7 days, and on the second to last day, the fire alarm went off. It was already very cold in Munich at that time, and we had to wait outside for about half an hour before we could go back in. They really need to check their equipment!
On the plus side, there's a REWE supermarket and a ROSSMANN downstairs, and the S5 and U5 lines are right next door, which is quite convenient.
AAnonymous UserI stayed here for 3 nights and honestly, I’m very disappointed.
Let’s start with the positives: the location is excellent. Right opposite the train and metro station, Lidl & Rewe supermarkets nearby, and just a straight 15‑minute walk into the old town. Super convenient.
But unfortunately, that’s about it. Service was really flat — communication with reception was very standard, nothing warm or welcoming. The room itself was on the small side (clean, yes, but definitely not spacious).
The real disappointment: water policy. The hotel only provides ONE small bottle of water per day per room. That’s for two people. On my first day, I asked reception for an extra bottle — they told me to go to the bar. Fine, I got one there. On the second day, since we skipped housekeeping, there was no water refill, so at night I went to the bar again to ask for another bottle. This time the staff told me I had to pay.
I was completely shocked. A 4‑star hotel charging €200 per night… and they won’t even provide guests with a simple bottle of still water? I’ve stayed in so many hotels across Europe and this is the first time I’ve encountered something like this. Even more absurd, the hotel leaves free apples at reception and offers unlimited water at breakfast — but refuses to give guests a bottle of water to take to the room? Ridiculous.
This policy really ruined what could have been a good stay. For a “collection” hotel brand, I expected much more in terms of service and hospitality. Sadly, I would not recommend this hotel.

GGuest UserThe hotel is suitable for longer stay (more than 1-2 nights). Amenities were okay. Room layout is good and spacious. The location is not in the middle of tourist hot spot, rather a bit off so I wouldn't recommend for the first-timer in Munich. Otherwise, it's a good hotel
DDCRYBuilding is located around 400m from Siemenswerke station but the walk is not sheltered so need to take note of rain/snow. Room is spacious and comes with washing machine and cooking wares. Toilet does not have sufficient wet and dry separation so unable to on the showerhead fully without water flowing out to the dry area. I went during the holiday season so the service staff was unable to respond to my query on one of the days of the holiday period. Room price is considered reasonable to me given that I booked during the holiday season and it comes with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay.
AAnonymous UserWould definitely recommend this place for friends and family as the location is strategic for those who want to explore the city by foot. It’s also within walking distance to the main train station where you can easily take the S bahn to the airport. The hotel provides unlimited coffee, hot chocolate drinks and tea at the reception area. Just bring your mugs down to fill them up yourselves. Plus, there is a place to lodge your luggage after your check-out. This is a thoughtful plus point for us to store our belongings while waiting to catch a night flight for the next destination. The receptionists have always been helpful. Supermarkets are within walking distance. Perfect choice overall.

AAKADAI stayed here on New Year's Eve.
I had heard that the New Year's fireworks in Munich never stopped, so I was worried that I wouldn't be able to sleep, but the room was very quiet and airtight, so I was able to sleep peacefully.
It's a very unique and interesting hotel, but it was disappointing that the bed was expensive and difficult to use, and that there were no slippers or bathrobes. Other than that, I think it was good.

AAsh76OK - the good -
The rooms are spacious, bed is large, the bathroom is lux with marble floors.
it is also in a great location. It is close to the train station and has a Lidl behind it.
The barman Jan is friendly and helpful.
And the not so good -
The rooms do not have a fridge, a microwave and not even a kettle!
When I enquired about the tea and coffee facilities, I was curtly told if I wanted coffee I could buy it downstairs.
It is difficult to understand how a hotel can justify a 4 star rating if it doesn't have anything more than a bed and a bathroom.
And then there is the room temperature. It's a furnace in the room I think the temperature was set to 29 degrees C!!
And the room temperature can't be changed in room. Only the reception can.
Even if they change it, it resets the next day.
I'm not sure why this hotel needs a sauna... Just stay in the room.
As has been noted in another review on Tripadvisor, this issue is ongoing. He noted it in 2017 and again in 2019 but nothing has changed.
Secondly is the staff attitude. They aren't rude but not friendly either. Likely they are worn down by the same issues getting raised while they are powerless to change it themselves.
Unsurprisingly, I was not offered a late check out.
The main advantage of location is lost by all the disadvantages.
If that's why you want to stay here, don't let the photo's trick you, book another better hotel nearby.
MMiaobabaI stayed two nights in Munich to watch the Champions League. The hotel reception was small, and the English was average, making communication difficult and unresponsive. The room was decent and functional, but the bed was a bit too soft for comfort. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and transportation is convenient; the bus stop is a 5-minute walk away.
SSinta LayOverall experience is average. However, on one of the days (29th April), the housekeeping didn't clean our room at all, and the receptionist guy that night kept saying I don't know.. I don't know, without saying sorry. We even have to get the clean towels by ourselves.
