We chose this hotel for our trip to Chaka Salt Lake, and it was a pleasant surprise! They upgraded us to a family room, which my child absolutely loved. They even hugged the big goose, as if seeing a long-lost relative. By the way, even without the upgrade, the twin beds (1.35 meters) would have been spacious enough. The room was large, parking was free, and they helped us with our luggage during check-in. The service, especially from Song, was incredibly thoughtful. Once we confirmed our arrival time after visiting Chaka Salt Lake, delicious wonton noodles were promptly delivered. I had eye drops that needed freezing, and they had dedicated staff who quickly helped with ice and other requests. The hotel breakfast was incredibly rich. I'm not sure if this hotel is four-star or five-star, but the breakfast definitely felt five-star. I particularly remember the impressive mixed noodles. The hotel also has its own laundry room, which some five-star hotels don't. It's a free laundry room with drying facilities. What's even more impressive is that the laundry room was comfortably air-conditioned and had a self-service beverage machine where I enjoyed a hot orange juice and a hot milk. Very impressive! Laundry bags were also conveniently available for self-service, and of course, they were also provided in the room (thanks to Song). In short, it was incredibly convenient and definitely not just a place to crash for a night. If you're not in a hurry, this hotel is truly a place where you can stay and slowly experience the Northwest. The only minor drawback is that it's a bit far from the scenic area. If you specifically come here after visiting Chaka Salt Lake, you have to backtrack a bit to continue on G315 towards the desert. But experiencing Golmud, this western city, was also a wonderful experience. I have no regrets at all, thanks to our stay at the Golmud Yellow River International Hotel.

Great value for money, I'd definitely book this hotel again. Beyond the standard budget hotel offerings, there were some nice touches: plenty of space to put things, several comfortable chairs/sofas, a humidifier, a vanity table, a full-length mirror, a dedicated cabinet for bath and hand towels, sterilized plastic slippers, a smart speaker (Xiao Ai), and complimentary brewed tea at the front desk. Breakfast was decent, though the plain congee and fried rice could be improved. The parking lot is large, and there's a delicious boneless meat restaurant nearby.

I stayed here in August during a Qinghai–Gansu trip with my girlfriend. The staff were consistently professional, helpful, and kind. The hotel is modern and offers a good range of amenities, including a gym and laundry facilities. Our room was comfortable, clean, and well maintained. Breakfast was also excellent, with a wide variety of both local and international options. The only drawback was the soundproofing, as some noise from the neighbouring room could be heard. I would recommend asking specifically for a quiet room when booking. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and would happily recommend this hotel +++++

Facilities: The facilities are excellent, recently renovated with a modern style. The washbasin, toilet, and shower are all separated, which is very well-designed. Cleanliness: Very good. The shower room has four bottles, one of which is lotion. Environment: The location is a bit out of the way, but there are plenty of restaurants nearby. Service: Excellent. Upon check-out, we were even given drinks and water for our journey. They guarantee late check-out until 4 PM, which I assume is very convenient for guests arriving by train. Very friendly! 🌺

What truly stood out during my stay was the front desk service – it absolutely deserves a special mention! From the moment I walked in, the staff greeted me with a warm, genuine smile and a gentle, friendly tone, completely devoid of that usual robotic politeness. Check-in was incredibly fast, taking less than three minutes. Throughout the process, they patiently explained the breakfast times, gym location, Wi-Fi password, and some local transportation tips, all very clearly and without any perfunctory explanation. Even better, the staff member also upgraded my room, which was a fantastic experience. They proactively added me on WeChat and were always responsive to my requests!

I was very satisfied with my stay this time. The hotel's location is excellent, making it convenient for dining and shopping. The lobby is clean and grand upon entry, and the front desk staff processed my check-in quickly with a warm and patient attitude. The room was meticulously cleaned, and the bathroom had a wet/dry separation with a full set of toiletries. The mattress was just right—not too soft, not too firm—and the soundproofing at night was excellent; I couldn't hear any noise. The cleaning staff always greeted me proactively, providing thoughtful and detailed service. The value for money is top-notch among hotels in the same price range, making it suitable for both business trips and leisure travel. I've saved this hotel and will definitely book again next time I'm in the area.

This stay exceeded my expectations. The room was spacious and clean, with comfortable bedding and an oxygen concentrator, ensuring a great night's sleep. Overall, the living experience was very pleasant. The breakfast offered a wide variety, including hot dishes, noodles, and pastries, all authentic in taste and made with fresh ingredients – a fantastic breakfast experience. The staff were attentive and responsive, and parking was convenient. It's highly recommended for anyone driving to Chaka Salt Lake; well worth a stay.

This hotel is conveniently located close to the highway exit. The soundproofing is excellent, so there's no noise disturbance. They even provide humidifiers and oxygen concentrators, which is a thoughtful touch for out-of-town guests and truly heartwarming. We also received a complimentary fruit platter. Upon checking out, they gave us local souvenirs (seabuckthorn juice and highland barley yogurt). As a tour leader with 8 years of experience, I am exceptionally satisfied with Huacheng Hotel. It's even more convenient for self-driving tour groups, as there's ample free parking both in front and behind the hotel. Superb! [Strong][Strong][Strong] There's also a PetroChina gas station directly across the street, which is very convenient.

The hotel is right next to the entrance of Sky One Scenic Area. When we arrived, we all suffered from altitude sickness. The front desk lady thoughtfully turned on the oxygen machine in our room, which alleviated our hypoxia symptoms. The hotel also provided complimentary scenic area tickets, and the views were absolutely stunning. Breakfast was quite rich.

The room was spacious and warm, with a great layout and a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom. The service was enthusiastic and proactive, and the facilities were complete and relatively new. The hygiene was spotless, and the environment was quiet and comfortable. The parking lot was large, and it was very close to the scenic area. Definitely recommend!
