At first I thought it was static electricity since it is relatively dry, but it is not normal to be shocked every time I press it. I have also reported it to the front desk. She responded to every request and answered the phone promptly. I have to give her a thumbs up. The room was spacious and bright, the bed was soft and comfortable, and it was very quiet. The fountain at the entrance of the hotel was also a plus!
