GGuest UserBeautiful hotel (about 7 min walk to the station) and was a great Ryokan experience as the room was traditional and had a breath-taking view. Futons were sufficiently comfortable - but wished there was the whole Ryokan welcome and fanfare.
Staff was welcoming but did not speak much English though they had papers of English instructions all ready. There was a free shuttle out of the hotel at fixed timings to the nearest Shinkansen (Unazukionsen Station)
Onsen was relaxing and was supplied with good quality products for every aspect of grooming. Lots of vending machines were available, there was a souvenir shop on site though pricey. We just did not enjoy the corridors as it gave out a creepy vibe (due to it being an older establishment), hence, we did not enjoy moving around the hotel). Facilities were beautiful and well preserved.
Food as part of the experience was a good and large helping. We opted for the full seafood experience but it had a lot of sashimi or cured seafood which was not to our own liking (we did not really know what we signed up for, really our fault!) Breakfast was a good spread and really hearty. A lot of traditional and local specialties to experience!
Overall a great stay!
(Shops in the vicinity closes at about 5pm and open at 10am)

利利奈立地がかなり良かったです。トロッコに乗る方なら絶対おすすめです。ホテルから歩いてほんの２〜３分程です。朝食もすごくすごく満足。とても美味しかった。お味噌汁、茶わん蒸しのお出汁がいいのか、味噌がいいのか、特に美味しかった。じゃこおろしもびっくりするくらい甘くて、大根がいいのか。小鉢で準備してくださっていたので取りやすく食べやすかったです。もちろんおかわり頂きました。夕方にサービスしてくださった豚汁も具沢山ですごーく美味しかったです。大浴場の温度は熱めで私は入りにくかったけど、地域性なのかな？泉質はトゥルンとしていてお肌すべすべでした。
建物は古いかもですが、何も不便は無かったです。
ホテルの方もみんな爽やかな対応をしてくださり気持ち良かったです。
朝食、ホテルの手前、お部屋の窓から撮った景色、トロッコからの景色をのせました。
また、あの豚汁をいただきたいな〜。
