Amazing
LLumos312The whole house and the owner are like something out of a fairy tale!!
Maximalists would be thrilled to stay here. The owner's guesthouse is truly like a mini-museum; ten photos wouldn't be enough to capture all the surprises and ingenious touches hidden inside. It's a bit of a shame I didn't get to see the night view from the rooftop; it was so cold the day I checked in 😭. I chose a single room, but it was perfectly adequate for solo travel! The blankets were very soft and comfortable, and the room size was just right. It's very close to the Sakuracho shopping district! I haven't stayed in many guesthouses, but this one truly showed genuine care and attention! I would recommend this place to anyone planning a trip to Kumamoto 🥰
HHangzhouI was very impressed with this place. First off, the location is excellent, very close to Kumamoto Station, making travel incredibly convenient, especially for those planning to continue their journey by Shinkansen or other train lines.
The standout highlight is the free natural hot spring (onsen) within the hotel, which is perfect for unwinding after a long day of sightseeing. The hotel's atmosphere is clean and well-organized, as expected from a Super Hotel.
Regarding service: The staff at the front desk were very welcoming and cheerful. They even offer a 'Pillow Menu' where you can choose a pillow that suits your preferred height, showing great attention to detail.
In summary, it's a hotel with excellent value for money, considering the price, location, and amenities. I highly recommend staying here if you're visiting Kumamoto; it's easy to get around and truly comfortable for resting.
GGuest UserAlthough it took a lot of setbacks to find this homestay (I thought it was a hotel 🏨) (Ctrip's name is not accurate at all, depressed 😒), but you can’t say that I would choose a place to live [呲牙], if not outside It’s dark, I can’t take pictures, otherwise the effect would be better: next to a small river, coming in is a small garden, very quiet, the room is an ensuite, everything is there, I will come back to the hot spring after eating delicious food in the evening. ♨️, have a good night’s sleep, and you will have a good walk around tomorrow morning[悠闲][悠闲]
TTINGTINGAs is common for Japanese hotel rooms, they are typically on the smaller side. However, the location was excellent, with a tram station conveniently located just a short walk away. Shampoo and conditioner are available for guests to pick up in the lobby. I didn't get a chance to try the breakfast this time, but I'll definitely give it a go on my next visit.
Wwind0329Right out of the East Exit of the station, turn right and it's just a few minutes' walk. The bus stop is also at the East Exit, surrounded by malls and restaurants, making it super convenient. The front desk staff were warm and polite, and even helped me call to resolve an issue I had at their Miyazaki branch. The room was relatively spacious, and there's free coffee and tea in the lobby. Breakfast was also good. While other branches only start breakfast at 6:30 AM, here you can grab coffee and pastries from 6:00 AM, which is really convenient for travelers catching early trains. Toyoko Inn is always my first choice in Japan – great location, excellent service, good breakfast, and affordable prices. I'll definitely choose Toyoko Inn again in the future.
AAnonymous UserThe hotel's location is great, making it super convenient for sightseeing, shopping, and getting around. Even though it's in a really bustling area, the hotel itself is surprisingly quiet. The rooms are standard Richmond Hotel style.
Eez62Although they have a private carpark by side of the hotel, there was a parking fee charge of 2,000yen. But you're guaranteed a parking spot if you come back later at night.
There are more parking lots in the multi storey carpark by side of the hotel. The hotel is very clean and I think it's relatively new. The front desk reception was very friendly n helpful.
They also have a guest lounge on the ground floor next to the reception. Free flow of coffee and soft drinks plus some alcohol choices like sparkling wine. The lounge is open to hotel guests from 3pm to 11pm. They also provide coffee to go.
The first 2 pictures is the view from our room. Across the highway from the hotel there's a Daisy & an Aeon supermarket. Very convenient to grab some food n light groceries. It's a good location to be in. I'll definitely be coming back to this hotel.
HhelensilivrenThe tea cup in the room was not clean, i wish the hotel payed more attention to that. The hotel itself is very close to the station and the breakfasts are good, I've been there twice and each time the food was a little different. The staff at reception desk is very helpful
GGuest UserIt was a stay with a friend, but it was smooth from reservation to check-in, and the facilities in the room were perfect, so it became very satisfying. I was talking to my friend again to use it.
Did the remote control battery on the TV run out? I couldn't use it, so please check it.
It was a nice stay. Thank you very much.
LLei,taoOverall, a fantastic stay! I really appreciated the complimentary drinks and the spacious bathtub in the room. The service was excellent, and I'll definitely be returning for another visit. My only minor critique is that the location isn't the most convenient, but despite that, I found the overall experience to be very satisfactory.
