Great
KKhabibov IlnurGreat room. It was clean and cozy. The staff were polite and friendly. Free coffee from a machine is available at the front desk. A 7-Eleven is conveniently located right next door. The room doesn't have wardrobes or much space for large suitcases, but it's perfectly fine for travelers with smaller luggage. The hotel offers two washing machines and two dryers; however, expect queues in the evenings, so doing laundry in the morning or afternoon is recommended. Overall, I have wonderful memories of my stay.
GGuest UserInitially we booked the wrong night by mistake. I immediately had sent letter to the host, just 2 minutes after that mistake. And at first, host said, that they would refund without any problems, but after that he turned down our ask for refund and offered only date change, which was the problem, because the price was 2.5x more on the dates, that we needed and we would never stay at the place so expensive. In the end we had to make additional payment to stay for only one night, just to not loose the first money transfer.
And host refused to talk about why he changed his initial position and what is wrong with the refund 2 months prior to the stay. Even that we had assured him, that it was really a mistake (confused ”mar” and ”may” in the app) and sent him our plane tickets,.
He also told us, that he can't give us refund, because he prepared the room and because of the booking he couldn't rent room to another person and lost money, which I find highly unlike, since the first response from him was very quick and the wrong booking was made 2 hours before midnight, so it's very unlikely, that someone else would rent it.
Overall, I don't think that it could be considered as hospitality.
The place itself is nice, if booked for an appropriate price. Don't expect luxury, but a simple, spacious room with a balcony and a view on the road and trees.
MMike IgWe had a pleasant stay at this hotel in Hiroshima. The location is excellent — right in the city center, close to Hondori Shopping Street, several malls, bars, and restaurants. It was easy to explore the city, with the nearest tram station about a 10-minute walk away, offering direct access to the central railway station and other parts of Hiroshima.
We stayed in a Semi Double Room, which was quite compact, and the bed felt a bit narrow for two people. That said, the amenities were thoughtful and well-curated. We especially liked the traditional-style bathroom, as well as the complimentary sheet masks and foot patches — a nice touch after a day of walking around the city.
The staff were friendly and helpful, as you’d expect in Japan. Overall, despite the small room, we had a good experience and appreciated the convenience and service.
JJulianneThis hotel is clean and comfortable
however it is lacking some modern facilities. it is quite dated and there was paint falling off in the bathroom and hallways. the beds were very comfortable although there was only one small
pillow. The main issue with the room was the lack
of electrical sockets. there was only
one electrical socket for the whole room which was hidden beside a curtain nowhere near the beds. This was quite inconvenient. the room was very warm and it’s just spring time at the moment (April) and the air conditioning is controlled by reception. We asked and they said to turn it up
to max and it was still roasting so i don’t think i’d reccomend staying here in summer. Location was ok beside some beautiful parks and the river which was lovely for a morning run and it’s not too far from the peace park and the main streets and areas. overall we had a lovely stay but just felt for the price certain things fell short and the hotel needs to be modernised a bit.
GGuest Userpublic bath is small but still not crowded.
Even have sauna! the cream lotion and so on are there.
room is quite big, breakfast was delicious.
Location is almost right in front of. us and tram station. even walkable to Peace Park and Atomic bomb dome.
Recommend!!
CCongbuyouyuThe hotel is conveniently located not far from Hiroshima Station, with a large supermarket directly across the street. Both beds were very spacious. The shower had great water pressure and temperature, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. We also had a view of the Shinkansen bullet trains from our window.
GGuest UserLocation is excellent, at peace park area , close to atomic bomb some, and museum, and lot of eating and shopping options around. Better you take trans ( street car ) from Hiroshima train station. Stop is just 50 meters from hotel. Staff is very friendly and will help you out if you face issue in room. Rooms are small but with all amenities, good for short stay. I stayed for two days. Best I like was is the AC, old but good quality and will cool down the room quickly. Highly recommended hotel…
LlkjidmThis was my second stay at a Livemax hotel, and it was excellent once again! This time, I chose the branch located in Funairi-machi.
The location is superb, conveniently close to both Funairi-machi Station (Line 6) and Komachi Station (Line 2). The surrounding area offers plenty of dining options, parks, beautiful river views, and even drugstores.
The service was good, and the facilities were comprehensive. I especially appreciated the large TV, which made for a very comfortable viewing experience.
The only minor drawback was that the duvet had a somewhat strange texture and wasn't as comfortable as I'd hoped. Aside from that, there's absolutely nothing to complain about. It's truly an unbeatable choice for anyone visiting Hiroshima!
SSarah H.Location ok, near the tramway, but not the nicest street. The room is very hot, uncomfortable and tiny. And it’s not exactly 2 beds. There’s one double bed and then there’s a very high and uncomfortable stepladder to reach a mattress that is very close to the ceiling. The staff doesn’t speak any English and we had to use Google translation with everyone. We were given the wrong room at first and waited 40 minutes to check-in. The woman didn’t know we had already paid for the room. Then the next day, we asked to leave our luggage before taking the train which they agreed to. And when we returned to gather them, they said they would charge us for this service as we were away for more than an hour. The staff wasn’t very cooperative or nice and wouldn’t let us leave. There is no sign or explanation anywhere about the fact that leaving your luggage is not free. It’s not written anywhere.
AAnonymous UserThe price is really cheap, 10 minutes walk from Yokogawa Station. Downstairs is 711 for the whole family. Attractions are not afraid of trouble to walk for 10 minutes to the city center. The disadvantage is that there is no curtain in this room, the hotel does not have an elevator, in fact, it is a hotel converted into an apartment in Japan, and the water flow in the bath is so small. Check-in is basically self-service, stayed for 3 days, except to see the young lady who cleaned in the morning, did not see anyone at the front desk. If you save money, you can consider living, health is justified, and the residential areas next to it are quiet.
