"This hotel is super convenient, just a 5-minute walk from Hiroshima Station, right across from the T-Site bookstore. The lobby is on the second floor, and there's a convenience store right on the ground floor. Check-in is self-service, and you can store your luggage for free. They even provide face masks with the toiletries, which is a nice touch! Breakfast is a generous spread, though you might need to queue a bit around 7:00 AM. There were a lot of European and American tourists visiting Hiroshima. Overall, a really great hotel."

"The location of Granvia is always the best. It's right outside the South Exit of the JR station, so you don't even need to leave the station, making it convenient to go anywhere. The hygiene is excellent and very clean, with a separate shower and toilet. Most amenities are provided, but bath salts are not. The lack of a laundry room is a bit inconvenient. The staff speak English and are friendly. However, the room is quite small. For a double room, two people might struggle to fully open their luggage."

"Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. We're a family of four, occupying two separate bedrooms. What we really liked was the hotel's proximity to the Peace Park. A short stroll will take you to the tram station. We booked for the morning breakfast, selection is very good. But there could a short wait at the door depending on what time you go in the morning. We won't mind staying again here if given the chance."

"Initially i wanted to book a hotel somewhere in the downtown. But the breakfast and the dinner here caught my eyes. Also the view of the inland islands. I stayed 2 nights here, I came from Fukuoka where my plane landed. The taxi fare from hiroshima station to the hotel is about 3000-3500 yen. There is free hotel shuttle bus but i did not take it. Also, there is public bus stopping right outside the hotel (which i found out later). Though the hotel is old, it is well kept and clean. The staff were very eager to assist the guests and there is always a smile on the face. I was given the 17th floor facing east. But the morning sun was too bright. Though it didnt matter much to me. Another reason i booked this hotel is they have speed boat counter for Miyajima island. I booked one way there as I have the JR pass for return and I have plans after. One way ticket from hotel to Miyajima is 2400 yen and return is 4500 yen. There is a convenience store in the hotel. But I believe they closes at 2200. Also, there is hot spring in the hotel. There is a usage charge for it, but i do not recall the price as i did not use. I went up to the bar on the 1st night. The view was great. Most importantly the price are reasonable too. For both days, i ate at the chinese restaurant for breakfast. 1st day was Japanese breakfast set. 2nd day was Japanese buffet style breakfast. They were delicious. The western and Japanese buffet breakfast at the top floor were very crowded. But they had more selections. For my return trip to Beppu, I used the concierge (bell desk) to send my big luggage to Fukuoka. The price was okay. I took the hotel shuttle bus go Hiroshima station. It was a pleasant ride. Do take note it is first come first serve and there’s a queue. I will stay here again, should I come back to Hiroshima. Thank you."

"We got to the hotel around 10:30am after checking out of the hotel on the Riverside. It was raining so we wanted to stay indoors so the hotel staff helped to take the luggage so that we could get our lunch outside. After finishing our lunch, we still had a lot of time left before the check-in time but since it was raining, we just stayed inside the lobby using wifi. We got the room on the 5th floor even when we requested to get the high floor since the hotel was fully booked. We were so tired when we got inside the room so we freshened up but the noise from upstairs was pretty bad. We didn't mind the noise at first but it kept on continuing throughout the night. I woke up around 2am because of the loud noise, thumping sound like someone walking but who would do that at that time. It also happened early in the morning. We had another 4 night booking at the same hotel."

"Staying at Hotel Granvia Hiroshima again was definitely the right choice! The hotel has direct access to the station, making transportation incredibly convenient with many options available. Shopping and dining in the surrounding area are also super handy. The room I booked was quite good, with a spacious view. Both the hotel's breakfast buffet and the executive lounge's food were excellent! It was a very satisfying experience."

"The hotel was conveniently located right next to Hiroshima station, which is good for planning day trips. There is also a 7-11 and Lawson store right at the ground floor. The rooms were comfortably large for two people and the beds were comfortable. Overall, an excellent stay and highly recommended. A room for improvement would be to consider providing bigger/more pillows for the beds - one small pillow may not beto everyone’s liking. Also, I felt the reception staff were a bit stingy when they declined my request for more bottled water after finishing the ones in the room…"

"The Moderate cabin size capsule was a lot better with the locker gate right under the bed with lock and key. No more climbing up and down capsules, while noises from other guests were less with more space. It's also located on 7F, so elevator wait times start becoming an issue. Overall I like the Moderate cabin size better. Staff continues to be accommodating with luggage storage Location was also accessible enough to make 1st ferry to Miyajima Island first thing in the morning and still be back at a reasonable time in the evening"

There was a crowd during check-in, but the hotel staff efficiently handed out queue numbers, allowing guests to wait comfortably on the sofas. The room I got was perfectly quiet, which was great! Since it's a business hotel with a high turnover, if you need to sleep in a bit later during the day, you can call the front desk beforehand to arrange a suitable room cleaning time. This way, you can get a better rest in the morning. Check-out is a bit early at 10 AM, but you can pay to extend it for ¥1,000 per hour. The hotel also has laundry machines and a public bath on the top floor, making it excellent value for money. The staff provided great service too. Highly recommended!

Great room. It was clean and cozy. The staff were polite and friendly. Free coffee from a machine is available at the front desk. A 7-Eleven is conveniently located right next door. The room doesn't have wardrobes or much space for large suitcases, but it's perfectly fine for travelers with smaller luggage. The hotel offers two washing machines and two dryers; however, expect queues in the evenings, so doing laundry in the morning or afternoon is recommended. Overall, I have wonderful memories of my stay.

The hotel staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, greeting me upon arrival and seeing me off at check-out. The location is excellent, right next to the station with plenty of dining options nearby, and the hotel's own restaurant is superb. The bedding and pillows in the room were incredibly comfortable, truly impressive – I even considered buying some to take home! The environment was clean and hygienic, and the windows were so spotless they seemed to disappear, giving me a fantastic impression of Hiroshima overall. The only minor downsides were the hairdryer wasn't great, and the shampoo and shower gel weren't big brands, leaving my hair a bit stiff.

Praise the location, bunk room, and lounge/cafe. Was perfect! Staff also very friendly, free luggage before/after check in/out. Room ambiance is perfect, free lent hair-dryer (they used dyson) Shower room was clean. There is some small minor such additional fee for towel, toothbrush, a bit cold, and no storage luggage at room. But thats acceptable. Building only 300meter from Hiroshima station. I couldn’t say more since I am satisfy enough while stay here. Recommended for solo traveling with affordable price. Price may vary for booked this room, I was lucky got less then $25, planning to stay here again this January, but couldn’t get same price like I was paid last time.🥲

The hotel is near a train station which makes travelling convenient! The staff is also very friendly and can communicate in English. The room is spacious, although it doesn’t have much of a view but it’s not big of an issue for us. The reception is on the third floor and there’s a separate elevator to go up to the guest rooms. It was a comfortable stay

I really love this hotel! The breakfast spread is fantastic and includes local Hiroshima specialties. They also have a complimentary drink machine available from 2 PM to 11 PM. The room condition was excellent, and the staff were incredibly friendly. I highly recommend it! There's a large store nearby called Fuji Grand with a supermarket that's open until 11 PM, which is perfect for grabbing drinks and fruit after a day of sightseeing. If I had to pick a downside, it would be that it's a bit of a walk to the tram stop, and you need to take a bus to Hiroshima Station. However, if you're flexible with your time, you can actually walk to the downtown shopping street in just 10-15 minutes. I truly enjoyed my three-day stay here.

The location of this hotel is excellent. It’s right next to Peace Memorial Park, directly behind the museum, in a quiet and pleasant area. It’s about a 3–5 minute walk from the tram stop and around 5 minutes to the main shopping street. If you get this hotel at a good price and only plan a short stay focused on the Peace Park, the location is definitely a plus. The room itself, however, was extremely small. Seating was uncomfortable — only a small stool with no back, and in my case the screws were sticking out, making it unsafe and unpleasant to use. You are basically either on the bed or out of the room. The biggest issue was severe condensation and dampness. The room had extreme moisture problems — water running down the walls and windows, and the bed and floor becoming damp overnight. I woke up with wet feet and later realised why. This is not normal condensation; it was excessive and clearly an ongoing issue. I raised this with the front desk when checking out, but it was brushed off. After contacting Trip.com with photos and videos, the hotel refused responsibility once I had checked out. Trip.com eventually offered partial compensation, but the hotel itself showed no accountability. Because of this, I would not stay here again. I am not overly picky with hotels, but a damp room that can make guests sick is unacceptable. Also, I do not recommend the breakfast. You receive a very small bento box with unclear contents and a bottled tea. For the price, you are far better off going to a nearby convenience store like Lawson. Overall: great location, but poor room conditions and lack of responsibility from the hotel. There are better options in this area.

This was my second stay at a Livemax hotel, and it was excellent once again! This time, I chose the branch located in Funairi-machi. The location is superb, conveniently close to both Funairi-machi Station (Line 6) and Komachi Station (Line 2). The surrounding area offers plenty of dining options, parks, beautiful river views, and even drugstores. The service was good, and the facilities were comprehensive. I especially appreciated the large TV, which made for a very comfortable viewing experience. The only minor drawback was that the duvet had a somewhat strange texture and wasn't as comfortable as I'd hoped. Aside from that, there's absolutely nothing to complain about. It's truly an unbeatable choice for anyone visiting Hiroshima!

The hostel had a great location. The beds weren’t the most comfortable but you had your privacy. Toilets and shower were very clean. All in all a nice hostel to stay for 1 or two nights. For a longer stay I would recommend a different one because the beds weren’t that comfortable:))
