Very Good
GGuest UserTravelodge wouldn’t have been a bad memory except for TRIP that made it a horrible one for me , I definitely sure this would be my last dealing with them.
Here is my ordeal with Travelodge and TRIP.com, on arriving the hotel I discovered the hotel has no air conditioning and it was terribly hot in London, I immediately notified the hotel of my intention to check out which they agreed to and are willing to give me a refund , unfortunately the TRIP customer service kept going round and round with the situation inorder for them to make me finish my stay at the hotel even with the fact that I complained it wasn’t comfortable, to be honest the hotel did their best to ensure I get my refund but trip messed everything up, there was practically nothing they didn’t do to make sure I didn’t check out even when someone from the hotel spoke with them about their willingness to give me a refund this is the hotel Ass. Manager ( Mrs Gosia) .
I had a very terrible experience with trip and it is definitely going to be my last . I couldn’t sleep most of the night because of the terrible heat at night thanks to trip.

GGuest UserWhile the hotel itself and rooms are fine. You have to pay extra for parking which is clearly just for capitalist gains as it’s on property.
They advertise a pool (one of the main reasons we picked the hotel), which we were told on arrival has been closed for years, yet no thought to advertise this online was thought of? No instead they keep a picture of said swimming pool online when it would be a simple manner of taking one picture down to stop disappointment. They keep it up to attract visitors unfortunately.
The water in the room for shower and bath simply did not go hot, but rather a low lukewarm. Breakfast also cost £15 which we opted not to do due to competition prices being so much lower for the same thing.
Ultimately, it was a disappointing stay mainly due to their misinformation than the room itself.
YyhoboIt is a family hotel type hotel that focuses on warmth and comfort. It is located in a residential area around the city. There are no restaurants or supermarkets nearby, and it is far away from the main city. On the way to the main city, there are many barber shops along the way.
GGuest UserLocation is great!
Affordable cost! Given a free parking, which was bonus.
As located in service station, a selection of fast-food restaurant is available nearby.
Cleanliness is not great! Visible crumbs on the carpet and drawers, with filthy looking curtains.
Breakfast is available on site but a but pricey should you decide to have it daily over a 3 day booking. Decision to make it a try on our first day, not a fan. Staff in the kitchen not friendly. Not attempted to make conversation (as if not heard us) at all when asked if topping up as containers were mostly empty and not even closing time yet. Definitely not value for money .
Reception staff are great!
Over all experience - satisfactory. Will consider staying again (hope they improve with cleanliness)
Thanks!
LLuis OrlandoCambridge is an expensive town. That said, the price of the room did not reflect the amenities or the size of the room. Basically, the bathroom was so small as to be useless, and the bedroom very poorly lit and felt cluttered.
The hotel is on top of a very cozy pub near Jesus Green, and within a comfortable walk to city centre. The room was clean and relatively quiet (the pub/hotel are located at a big intersection with frequent traffic).
It would be ideal if the room price was closer to 100£, rather than 200£…
AAlison’s Silk Road TravelsThis was my second stay at the hotel in a single room 114. I decided to stay again as it was very good value and a fairy short walk into Cambridge. I had a different single room than before and it was Ok. It had a decent shower and a comfortable bed. I was very cosy. The room had T and coffee facilities, and a T pot that I greatly appreciated during my last stay. I had a better view in this single room which was nice. It is a short walk to the shops, bus stop and the museums. As I was visiting cultural venues it’s a great positioned hotel not far from The Cambridge Museum and the Castle. I really liked staying in this hotel. I would definitely stay here again. The breakfast was very good value with really good ham, fresh fruit and yoghurts, nice muffins ext. there is plenty of spaces available to relax in the hotel. If you like 90s retro the spaces are great! The staff were very helpful and I stowed luggage so that I could visit Cambridge. It’s a great value hotel for solo travellers so please keep a good price for us! A very good stay here I will be back. The images you see are of the hotel reception area, room114, the view from the window, T and coffee and images of the walk from the hotel into the Fitzwilliam Museum, Newtons apple tree and Universities. A very brilliant walk unlike no other! Thanks hotel for a great stay. I will be back ❤️

MMAGDALENA JUSTYNAThere was a polish lady at the reception - she was AMAZING! EXTREMELY helpful, friendly, professional. I have stayed in many hotels, also international and 5 star - and she is TOP! One of hte best receptionist I have ever come across. The others were so-so, sometimes unfriendly or not organized, but she made up for all their failures and was EXCEPTIONAL.
The door to my room was faulty - so the cleaners never managed to go inside and clean my room while I stayed there for 3 nights, and not all cards worked - so cleaners jsut did not bother to go inside- which was disappointing. Also, the soap dispensers do not work well - very hard to get any soap out. - needs fixing properly.
