Outstanding
GGuest UserFor anyone wishing to stay near Cambridge but doesn't want to pay Central London 5-star prices, this is a great place to stay however there were problems. It is an exceptionally efficient system set up with an entry code and all done online. The room was clean and well presented. Waterbeach itself is not a place to rush back to but it is very convenient for Cambridge and its satellite communities. Two Big problems, one NOISE which is NOT the owner's fault but there were empty rooms so why place ALL the clients in adjoining rooms? I was woken at about midnight by the other couples saying goodnight and then next door played MUSIC? really? No accounting for the lack of consideration but the rooms are not well insulated. Secondly: breakfast is preordered, fine. There is a list of available food which is normally a buffet we presumed this was a self service , ie yoghurts and cereal etc.( I now think this was pre-order) as when I tried to help myself to yoghurt from the fridge the attending lady said ' I serve the breakfast' . Well I got nothing. No yoghurt, no cereal, no pastries, no smoothie, Worst of all, we asked for Americano coffee and were given milky something undrinkable. We were not asked if we wanted any refills, any water, NOTHING. I got a small bowl of lumpy porridge and a bit of fruit salad. Since buffet breakfast is the norm in virtually every hotel and BnB throughout the world, I think this is a reasonable expectation. I must re iterate if you need to be in or near Cambridge this place is still a great option
GGuest UserWell what can I say 👍👍we stayed last Sunday night fantastic wrote a review .Lovely 👍👍Went to Cromer for 5 nights then our daughter wanted away for sat night .All of Cromer and rest of Norfolk coast line full as well then thought of Harry’s bnb loved Cambridge but knew it was bank hol phoned them up spoke to Chris had a chat but said he was full only 1 lovely room shame only one 😢as would love to take family there to meet Chris and Dusa(lovely lady ) Dusa then phone me back saying they has a apartment that was not let till later .so of co**** we said thank you and took there offer .we arrived about 9 pm not at all a problem we got to there bnb and they both took us to the apartment only a 3 min wal but we both drove they showed us in and I. Fridge was bread butter for toast in mourning with 2 pints of milk with some ceareal 👍👍 fantastic. They then took us to local pub and we had a good laugh and a few pints what hosts . They also said to come to bnb for breakfast we did not go as we had toast and cereal but went to bnb to give keys back and pay which I can not say how much as I am sure they wanted to help us out as it was so CHEAP 👍👍👍 they offered us breakfast At about noon but said no but had cake and tea and had a chat for about 2 hours .I would always recommend this to everyone I have done already can’t wait to come back only a shame they have only I room .Good luck Chris and Dusa also there son Harry GOOD LUCK ALWAYS 👍👍
GGuest UserThe family hotel is in a good location, the facilities are average, the bed is very comfortable, the breakfast is a little less, overall it is OK, but because the deduction problem is communicated by the waitress, but she is not so nice, saying that she has to wait for the manager to come back and take the baggage in the afternoon. The manager is very good, the problem is solved quickly, it is really a completely different service experience for different people.
JJIYUNThe hotel is a common self-service hotel in foreign countries. The landlord sends the password to the door. The room information and keys are placed on the first floor. In addition to the narrow corridor and no elevator, the sanitary conditions and environment are above average. It is located in Cambridge. On the edge of the city centre, walk to the main attractions for about 15 minutes; But the service 1 star is for Ctrip, the password of the hotel door I did not receive, the big night blowing at the door for more than half an hour, if someone came out from there, there would be no place to stay on the day; in the Ctrip hotel is to reduce Trouble, but Ctrip only mechanically transferred a travel guide to me. I didn’t have the responsibility to the customer. I couldn’t get it in a foreign call. Ctrip will at least transfer the hotel’s mail (and sometimes not) to the user. Otherwise, where is the agency fee charged?

GGuest UserNice clean bed but that’s all floor was not clean very dated room decor two large spiders in the room a very bad smell from the bathroom mould on the tiles, door frame and shower, friendly staff but advertising parking but only three spaces and it looks like only the owners cars were there but parking on the lane and on a side street I would stay again with my work mates and definitely not the wife

Never ever stay in this horror show, I do not normally swear or leave reviews and I'm almost lost for words to describe this place, I would call it a hovel but that would be a huge improvement, I can't believe the state of it, I can't believe they have not been closed down, every inch of this place is disgusting and falling apart and full of damp and mold. On arrival the first thing that struck me was the state of the car park which is muddy and full of holes, abandoned car at the bottom under a tarpaulin. When I reached the so called ”reception” my key was laying on a table with my name scrawled on a sheet of paper, no sign of anybody around so I found my own way to the room. The hallway was dark and dilapidated with signs of damp and mold and a funny smell. When I found my room and opened it I couldn't believe my eyes I have never seen anything like this and the smell of sweat, mold and damp was overwhelming. Paper was peeling off the walls and the plaster was crumbling, every inch of this place was disgusting and covered in thick dust, everywhere you looked was grim, I can't go through how bad everything was because it was all so terrible. If you had nowhere else to go and had to spend the night on the street let me tell you that that would be better than this and I am not exaggerating, I ”slept” fully clothed on top of the horrific bed with my own personal towel wrapped around the pillow and couldn't wait to get out of there, please please just do not stay here ever.
TTheDebitorI have never been more unsatisfied with an accommodation in all my life. I am not accustomed to leaving bad reviews – I am easy to please and I have only ever posted one negative review of a hotel or guesthouse before but I have to make an exception in this case. The way they treat guests here is disgraceful. I paid in advance in full the agreed price for a one-night stay but when I arrived I found I was unable to gain entry without the key which is accessible only by entering a code. However they refuse to inform you of this code unless you phone them (at a number they don't inform you of in advance - I had to obtain this number off a fellow guest who had the same issues when checking in that I had). Worse still, when you phone them, they refuse to tell you the code unless you consent to pay an ADDITIONAL £100 (that I had not been informed about in advance) as some sort of ”insurance fee”. They then request you to send them your name by SMS and at this point despite my assurances that I was not informed in advance about this £100 extra charge (which they say is refundable) they refused to believe that I had not been told about it in advance, implying that I was not telling the truth, which I resented as I knew that on the contrary I was telling the truth and furthermore I had encountered another guest who had had an identical experience to me the night before, and he also had been told nothing in advance about the room key and code being withheld unless you pay this extra £100. They DID NOT email me or notify me in any other way, and as you will see from many other reviews left online by disgruntled guests, I am far from being the only one. Also, as other guests who have left reviews have pointed out, there is NO representative on the premises to ask or deal with. This is a dereliction of duty, clearly motived by the same cost-cutting, financially-motived measures as their other decisions, at the expense of their guests safety and wellbeing. I was exhausted after travelling for 24 hours straight, and by now it was midnight, so I agreed to their demand for more money in order to be allowed to finally go to my room - the room I had paid for in advance remember. I asked if I could pay the additional £100 fee in the morning, and they refused, they insisted it be paid in full before I went to bed. It ended up taking me until 2am in the morning to arrange the payment, with a very complicated system which involved having to exchange SMS messages back and forth with a member of staff and requesting all manner of codes which was a huge hassle in the state I was in. However, I paid their additional fee and thought that was the end of it and that I might be allowed to finally have some peace for the few hours I would be staying there. Which made it all the more annoying that the following morning, a member of staff came to my room and banged on the door at 11.00am on the dot - checkout time was 11am but I thought they might have waited even 2 min
