We are European tourists traveling to visit Mount Fanjing and decided to stay in the nearby village of Zhaisha. We booked this B&B which is just as beautiful as the pictures, and the rooms are well-equipped with comfortable mattresses. Guests can also take advantage of a free laundry service, which I recommend for stays of at least two days because clothes are dried outdoors and it can be humid. The owner is very kind and passionate about his work. He prepared delicious fruit for us every day and he even proposed driving us to the Mount Fanjing gate, which is a couple of kilometers away. He recommended many activities, restaurants, and a local evening festival, which was a unique local experience. To get to the Zhaisha village we booked a Didi taxi from Tongren, which takes about an hour. Alternatively, the owner can arrange a private transfer or offer advice on public transport.

This treasure-level homestay is highly recommended ～ First of all, let’s talk about the environment. The homestay is located near the entrance of Fanjing Mountain Scenic Area. You can directly reach the door by renting. Parking is also very convenient. It is surrounded by mountains (she has a golden teak tree for more than 300 years at the door of her house. Looking up at the strong trunks of her house, the air is particularly fresh, tens of meters away is the Zhaisha suspension bridge, the river is clear to the bottom... The decoration of the homestay is Chinese style, there are various wood carving ornaments collected by the boss, the room is elegant, clean and tidy, no smell, The mattress and bedding are very comfortable. People like me who are nervous can sleep until dawn. In addition, the boss family is also very good, the service is very thoughtful, the breakfast made by the boss is super delicious...

I was a little hesitant before booking, but the result completely exceeded my expectations! The lobby on the first floor has a very charming ethnic style and is very cozy! The room was very clean! The whole room is smart, which is very convenient! The shower water pressure was incredibly strong! It was the strongest water pressure I experienced in any hotel during this trip! The bed was also very comfortable! Parking was very convenient! There are several parking spaces in front of the back door! Having a laundry room is a huge plus! A must-have for long trips! It's also very close to the food street! Overall, it was excellent and I'm very satisfied! I will definitely book here again next time!

This hotel is really close to the east gate of Fanjing Mountain, and the owner is super nice, offering shuttle service between the hotel and the scenic area. The room was clean, and the surroundings were very quiet. My only minor gripes were that the air conditioner was a bit noisy and the hairdryer wasn't very powerful. Breakfast was a bowl of rice noodles and a steamed bun, which was decent. We also had lunch at the hotel, and the sour soup beef was delicious and a generous portion. All in all, it was a pretty good stay.

This guesthouse has an excellent location, very close to the east gate of Fanjing Mountain. The room was spacious and clean, and the large bed was super comfortable for sleeping. The soundproofing in the room is great; even when people in the opposite room were talking loudly and I could hear their voices clearly in the hallway, I couldn't hear a thing once inside my room. The owners are very hardworking; not only do they run the guesthouse, but you can also eat meals there. Their handsome son is incredibly diligent; whenever there are guests dining, he helps serve food and clear tables. I felt terrible when I accidentally cracked a toothbrush cup badly, but the owners both immediately said it was fine and even offered me a new one, refusing to let me pay for it. Our stay at Longting Courtyard was truly the biggest highlight of our Fanjingshan trip! We stayed in the Mu Xun Suite, and the room was spotlessly clean with a very comfortable mattress and excellent amenities. It was quiet and cozy for a good night's sleep! ❤️ What deserves the most praise are the owners. The husband and wife are incredibly warm, enthusiastic, and genuinely kind. Even before we arrived, they actively helped us secure Fanjingshan entrance tickets and shared a detailed guide for climbing the mountain, explaining what to watch out for and how to plan our route. They also provided shuttle service, saving us a lot of hassle with transportation. They patiently answered any questions we had along the way, always genuine and approachable, and replied to WeChat messages instantly. Since the guesthouse is located right inside the scenic area, we were among the first group to go up the mountain and captured some truly stunning photos! Our entire experience was fantastic. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Fanjingshan; I'll definitely stay here again next time!!!!!

I was pleasantly surprised on my first trip here. I booked such a wonderful guesthouse right away. The owner was kind and friendly, and even helped me with my luggage. The courtyard layout was exactly what I wanted, and the cleanliness was also excellent. I would definitely come back again. It was a very satisfying experience!

Location, location, location! It is only 200m walk away from the queue entrance of Fanjing Mountain. If you are taking the direct bus from Tongren Station / Tongren Bus Station, you shall alight at the Fanjing Mountain Tourist Information Centre and the homestay is just about 250m away. As we are foreigner and unclear of which direction to walk to, we contacted the boss to pick us up. The boss assisted with our luggage and guided us patiently on the directions. He suggested us to pay Zhaisha Dong Village a visit if time permits. The boss even drove us back and forth to as there isn't Didi service up in the mountain. The room of the homestay is spacious, clean and new. The boss and his father are super nice and enthusiastic. Fanjing Mountain is grand but has lots of bugs and mosquitoes. So do remember to bring along your insect repellent.

Location is mins walk to fanjingshan ticket ctr and entrance. The bed is uncomfortable, cos I could feel the uneven part . Otherwise, it is a pleasant stay and Ah Kwang is very helpful. They also helped me to send my charger and updated me . At times there is no one at the counter but they respond fast via wechat. Don't eat at the breakfast shop next to it and street stall along the alley towards fanjingshan entrance.They will sell you food that's not fresh and oil that's rancid... horrible..

The hillside guesthouse felt like a warm welcome home after a long, tiring day at work. Even before arriving, the owner contacted me to remind me to buy tickets, offering plenty of advice and hiking tips, along with transportation information. There was no need to plan anything here; everything was taken care of – food, accommodation, transportation, and entertainment. Upon arrival, the housekeeper warmly helped with our luggage, and the owner greeted us enthusiastically, like old friends even though we'd never met before. After check-in, we were immediately offered sparkling water, iced coffee, and welcome fruit. The air conditioning was already on, and the room was clean and hygienic, with a small courtyard for easy access. Breakfast wasn't as lavish as a hotel meal, but it was delicious: minced meat rice noodles, fried eggs, steamed corn bread, steamed corn, and millet cakes – the taste was unlike anything you'd find in a pre-made meal. They even packed up the leftovers for us to take hiking. After breakfast, the owner drove us to the scenic area in his Porsche. The scenic area was only 1 kilometer from the guesthouse, but he insisted on driving us there, saying parking would be inconvenient late at night. He also offered to pick us up on the way back, but we took a taxi – very convenient indeed. What surprised me most when we returned to the guesthouse after our hike was the foot bath tub they had provided. We sat in the pavilion, sipping tea and soaking our feet – it was incredibly relaxing. I'll definitely come back and recommend it to my friends. Goodbye!
