Find 2-Star Hotels in Colombo

The host was very helpful and shared his knowledge about Colombo with us. The apartment was well equipped, had all kitchen tools and a good washing machine. The two bedrooms had good beds and a small balcony as well as views of the port entrance. With Tuk Tuk we were in 12 minutes at the Galle Face. We would like to come back 👍

Enough for a single person. Room is okay for the paid money..

This rental is misrepresented. It's not a hotel but a ground-floor apartment with a security guard who checks you in. The entire vibe is suspicious from the start. The room and bathroom are claustrophobically small, and there are zero amenities like a restaurant or lobby. The only positive was the stunning view from the window, which was exactly as promised. However, the staff were utterly unprofessional and hostile.

The staff person who checked me in was very kind and helpful. The property is older and in need of a revamp and thorough cleaning. I scrubbed the tub with bleach to remove the caked on dirt. The bedding should smell fresher, especially the pillows. The bathroom could also use a new shower curtain to replace the one with mold spots.

No yf, I booked a room for 2 days. After staying for one night, I went to Galle with no room but a bag. I called the hotel and told them that I would wait until around 3 pm to pick up the bag and check out. I told the hotel that it was okay. They took my bag to the front desk for cleaning, but when I went to the hotel the receptionist asked me to pay an extra half day's room rate. I told them that I had called them, but they didn't know. In the end, I had to pay half a day's room rate before leaving!

The traffic is fairly convenient, the surrounding environment is not like The bed is comfortable and a place to rest.
