The owner told us to stay at Firefly Hotel instead. Back then, Firefly Hotel had just opened, and the walls and room facilities were relatively new, so it was alright. 8 years later, when I booked Firefly again, it was much older and more worn out. Water was constantly dripping from the air conditioner at the door, and the sheets seemed unwashed; they were quite itchy. The only redeeming quality was the price.

The boss and the proprietress are very enthusiastic, they are also very happy to help the tenants, they are also local people, he can solve anything for me, very warm and family feeling. I will still live here next time I come to Danxia Mountain!
