The location is close to the attractions in DanxiaShan, you can walk everywhere. Breakfast is in a restaurant a short walk down the street, and is ok, but the restaurant is not as nice as the B&B."

"The hotel room is spacious, with a 1.8-meter king bed, a 1.5-meter bed, a chaise lounge, and a desk and chair – perfect for a family of three. The bathroom is also very large, and the overall cleanliness is excellent. The hotel itself is a bit older, so the furniture is a bit dated. The front desk service was quite good; we paid an extra 50 yuan for three breakfast vouchers. Breakfast was decent, much better than the noodle shop to the left of the hotel. That noodle shop charged 20 yuan for a bowl of beef brisket noodle soup, and there was hardly any brisket – they claimed brisket was expensive, but seriously, avoid that place. There's a washing machine and dryer on the first floor. I forgot to take pictures of the room, so I've added a few photos of Danxia Mountain scenery instead."

"The location is fantastic, making it super convenient to get anywhere. There are plenty of local restaurants nearby, so it's easy to try different cuisines.
The hotel's design is unique, with direct river views. The butler communicated with us beforehand, and check-in was smooth. We arrived early, and our room was already prepared. The travel guide provided was detailed and thoughtful.
Coming back in the evening, I was pleasantly surprised to find freshly made strawberry cake at the ground floor cafe! It made our New Year's Eve celebration perfect.
Definitely a hotel worth revisiting."

"I am pleasantly surprised with this hotel. Room is big, clean and modern. We requested in comments section for non smoking room. Walk 3-4 mins to entrance of dan xia mountain, take the mountain free bus to go up to different stops in the mountain. The hotel is 40-50mins away from shaoguan city. It is easy to find a didi car from shaoguan station to the hotel, to the shaoguan city and even yun men shan."

"We had a wonderful time at Home of Mountains. The rooms, and the hotel itself, were beautifully decorated and very clean. Every day there was a varied breakfast and a lovingly prepared afternoon tea. Coffee lovers will also be happy here; there are several special coffees to try. The staff and the owner were very attentive, friendly, and helpful. We were given tips for the surrounding attractions, so that even though the scenic area was closed one day due to bad weather, we were able to explore the area. There is a pool on the hotel grounds that you can use at any time—perfect for cooling off after a day in the mountains. The hotel is just a few minutes away from the scenic area, and even from the grounds you have a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. We can absolutely recommend the hotel; if we come to the area again, it would definitely be our first choice. Thank you for the wonderful time!"

"Very clean and warm hotel. Very big room, huge window and view to the mountains. New double windows, so very quiet. Good beds and linen, good shower. The owners are extremely helpful. The girl made us 2 days itinerary with suggestions which places to go and which routes to use. She printed out the whole A4 text that was really helpful and made markings on the mountain map. We followed only her suggestions and without them it had been difficult decide where to go.
The guy ordered us car to Shaoguan city, paid for it with his Wepay app and we paid him back using Alipay! It was so helpful of him to do it, because Alipay showed prices at around 150 RMB, Wechat only 58! We as foreigners couldn't download Wechat. Very good hotel, when visiting Danxia Mountains!"

"Tour Danxia Mountain, choosing to live in this homestay is our best choice. The location of the hotel is about 5 minutes away from the ticket check-in seat of the Elder Peak Scenic Area, which is very ideal, which greatly saves us the time to take the bus back and forth. The homestay is beautifully furnished and clean, and the room is large. We booked a room with a balcony on the 2nd floor. We can enjoy the mountains and peaks of Danxia Mountain. AAnonymous UserA truly delightful guesthouse! Newly renovated, it's conveniently located for travel. The young owner, Mr. Li, is incredibly hospitable and provides excellent service. The bedding is comfortable, and the slippers are available in both wet and dry versions. The towels and bath towels are disposable, which is reassuring. He provided detailed information about the scenic routes on the evening of my arrival and again the following morning before I left for the tourist area. He also recommended restaurants, and the food was exactly to my liking. I especially loved the two phrases at the guesthouse's entrance: ”Listen to the wind, listen to the rain, listen to the falling flowers; see the mountains, see the sea, see yourself.” Doesn't that instantly create a wonderful atmosphere?

GGuest UserI made a last-minute decision to go to Danxia Mountain and saw that I had booked Yunsu Hotel 8 years ago, but I hadn't called the owner to make a reservation beforehand. The owner told us to stay at Firefly Hotel instead. Back then, Firefly Hotel had just opened, and the walls and room facilities were relatively new, so it was alright. 8 years later, when I booked Firefly again, it was much older and more worn out. Water was constantly dripping from the air conditioner at the door, and the sheets seemed unwashed; they were quite itchy. The only redeeming quality was the price.

The proprietress was super good, told us the route map of Danxia Mountain, and also helped us arrange tickets and introduce nearby food. Finally, she helped us arrange a car to the second stop. It was clean although the bathroom was small and had an unpleasant smell (although it was clean).
Overall, a decent place to stay, and the location is definitely the area to sleep if you visit Danxia mountain. I stayed 2 nights and if you want to explore the whole park, 2 days sound about right.

GGuest UserAn impressive trip to the homestay, on the way from the high-speed rail station, Didi driver Tucao B&B location is a bit far from the county seat, which may be inconvenient to travel, but when you arrive, you find that the hotel has a cooperative driver master, you can make an appointment in advance. The most important thing is that the front desk ladies and bosses are particularly enthusiastic, and it is rare to feel at home. And although it is a homestay, the sanitary products in the room are all big brands, low-key luxury haha, I hope I have the opportunity to live again next time, I wish business prosperity

蠟蠟筆@There's a breakfast place (No. 9 Restaurant) just a one-minute walk from the hotel and at the street corner. The beef noodles and wontons are delicious, and most importantly, there are no flies! But avoid the IKEA restaurant – swarms of flies buzzing around and nobody seems to care. I ordered delivery, and I got diarrhea the next day.

GGuest UserHiking all day was tiring, but the hotel's Yao-style bath was very relaxing. The hotel's facilities were excellent; they even provided body lotion, sewing kits, and all the disposable toiletries were of good quality, showing the hotel's attention to detail. If you're driving, I recommend coming during the day. There's a long road leading to the hotel, and during the day you can enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way.
