The whole family with the elderly and children stayed in Qichen, and the experience exceeded expectations! The courtyard is spacious and safe, the children can run freely, the room space is sufficient, the bed is comfortable to sleep, the hygiene is particularly in place, and the elderly are very satisfied. The housekeeper prepared fruit intimately, took the initiative to help carry large luggage, planned the easy parent-child play route in detail, and avoided the crowded crowd. The homestay is quiet and not noisy, the quality of rest is very good, not far from the ancient city attractions, and travel is labor-saving. The whole is warm and homey, the whole family likes it very much, and the first choice for family travel is Qichen Boutique B&B!

This hotel is a protected heritage site, the former residence of a *piaohao* (draft bank) founder, so it retains its original architectural style. The doors and windows, in particular, are incredibly atmospheric, and when the lanterns light up at night, you feel instantly transported back in time. The rooms are super clean, with linens changed after every guest. My elderly parents especially loved the *kang* (heated bed-platform). Coming to Pingyao, you really need to experience this kind of unique accommodation to get the full feel. The owner is incredibly nice; he picked us up from the station and gave us tips on what to do and things to watch out for. It was a delightful trip!

The hotel environment is clean and comfortable, and the amenities are quite complete. The bedding is also very soft. Most importantly, the staff are incredibly friendly and enthusiastic. Plus, the location is excellent, making it very convenient for getting around. It's really great value for money.

The inn is a historical building. The two-in-one courtyard is just behind the Majia compound. We are busy taking pictures as soon as we arrive. We live in ”childish”. Although there is no separation of dry and wet, we love it. It is sunny. In the morning, we see the sun and wine. It is very energetic. The boss is a young guy, the people are very good, because the old-fashioned lock is necessary to go out, others can not enter the house, so they trouble the boss to send supplies in the cabin, go back to get it at night. The homestay originally only had one pick-up or delivery service, and then the boss also picked up and sent it. Also help with the management. Great. I wish you a prosperous business!

We booked two rooms this time, and the owner was incredibly warm and hospitable! They were very patient from booking to check-in and enthusiastically recommended nearby delicious food and fun places. Both rooms were clean and tidy, very comfortable to stay in, and my family was very satisfied. The owner was also very quick to respond to any requests, which was very heartwarming. My experience staying at this hotel as below. 1. They provide pickup and drop off from the train station. The day before the Inn contacted me to make arrangement for the pickup. Then they arranged to drive me back to station on the day I leave. Service was efficient and prompt. Much appreciated. 2. I was able to use the washing machine to wash come clothes which was much needed. Comb and toiletries were provided. So grateful for these little necessities as I left mine at the previous hotel. 3. The boss upgraded me to a bigger and better room because it was the low season. The kang bed was so comfortable and firm. I had the best sleep so far at this Inn. I'm so happy. 4. The Inn is inside the old city and practically next to one of the city gates. Very convenient for sightseeing old Pingyao city. 5. Everyone very friendly and helpful. Boss also gave me a bottle of vinegar. Wish I could take it back to UK with me. 6. The price of this Inn is also very reasonable and affordable. 7. Pingyao is a beautiful, ancient old city. Worth coming. I highly recommend staying here. Very good experience. The owners are friendly and provide pick up at the gate entrance. Pretty courtyard and the owners shared a lot of information on where to eat / shop at. Would definitely recommend this guesthouse to those wanting to visit Pingyao.

A wonderful and very memorable stay. This is a true guesthouse experience, not a polished chain hotel, and that is exactly its charm. The room was large, with plenty of furnishings, a big king bed, and a nice courtyard setting. Sure a few things were slightly old, broken, or not quite perfect, but that simply added to the character and human feel of the place. The mattress was quite firm and I slept very well. What really made this stay special was the family. The mother was incredibly kind and helpful, taking the time to provide a map, sightseeing advice, and an efficient walking route to help me see the key highlights of Pingyao while minimising unnecessary walking. Later I met the son and daughter-in-law, who were both equally warm and friendly, and the son very kindly drove me to the train station the next day, which was greatly appreciated. Breakfast was simple but perfectly good, and exactly what was needed before more exploration of the town. This was not luxury accommodation, but it offered something far more memorable, genuine hospitality, kindness, and a personal touch. I would happily stay here again.

I was very fortunate to choose Glory Homestay for my trip to Pingyao. Although it's outside the ancient city, it's incredibly convenient for getting around, just a 5-6 minute walk to the entrance, avoiding the hassle of traffic control within the ancient city. The room was clean and cozy, the bedding was so soft I fell asleep the moment my head hit the pillow. The owner is a 20-year veteran who was incredibly welcoming. He not only helped plan the route but also recommended many local favorites. The prices were very reasonable, only a few dozen yuan – truly excellent value for money. I highly recommend everyone stay here!
