GGugugugagagajiejiejieMy mom and I stayed here, and we loved it at first sight! There's a huge courtyard, so relaxing to sunbathe there in the afternoon! Our room even had its own terrace, which we absolutely loved! The bed was also in a traditional Chinese style, and for a fan of that style like me, this inn was the dream inn of my life. There was even a guqin (a traditional Chinese stringed instrument) at the front desk – I loved that! I also love the name of the inn!!! In short, I love everything about it! Oh, and the owner also loves traditional Chinese style music; she plays all those songs, which I adore!!!

LLu꯭fu꯭A garden-style inn with an excellent location and convenient surroundings. Close to the entrance of the scenic spot. The environment is beautiful and quiet, clean and tidy, the decoration is exquisite and high-quality, and the facilities are a bit old. The landlady is warm and thoughtful, and responsive to all requests.

MMichael ZargarovThis is a marvelous homestay-guesthouse. Located in a quiet area of the old-town, but very close to many bars and restaurants. Next door to a temple.
The owner is a friendly man who loves cats... and has three lazy, fat cats who sleep most of the time. He even gave us chilled bottles of Perrier French mineral water upon our arrival! The courtyard has two Loquat trees which provided many delicious fruits.
Our room was upstairs in this renovated old Qing-Dynasty house. We had a small private balcony. The bed was very comfortable, with great bolster pillows for watching movies on the huge screen. There was a refrigerator in the room. The bathroom was huge and even included a Japanese toilet with bidet functions. Soft towels. Good toiletries.
The included breakfasts, served in the courtyard, were wonderful. Fried bread, two-kinds of dumplings, soy milk, boiled eggs. Delicious coffee. Watermelon slices.
Xitang is a beautiful, if a bit over-commercialized ”ancient” town. We enjoyed our visit, and this lovely guest-house. The guesthouse is a bit hard to locate. It is in the Eastern part of the old town, near the bar street. For those who enjoy Hanfu, there are MANY shops nearby where you can rent the costumes.

AAnonymous UserAlong the riverside of the core scenic area of Xitang are all homestays, including this one. We stayed on the first floor, and we had to climb the attic to the second floor. The balcony of the room faces the river, and opposite is the Misty Corridor and the Songzi Laifeng Bridge. You can sit on the balcony and watch the cruise ships coming and going in the river. It is so close, and the scenery is really great! This homestay is very close to Xiyuan, Wangzhai and Shipinong, which is very convenient for playing! The boss came to the parking lot to pick us up, and the service was also good!
The room facilities are really simple, there is not even a decent table and chair, and the bedding is all disposable covers. The hygiene can be guaranteed, but it feels a bit rough when sleeping. The bath water is very good and large, and the non-slip slippers are also safe. The room is next to the water, and there are many mosquitoes, but there are no mosquitoes at night, which is very satisfactory.

MM868250****I have lived for almost ten days without knowing it, and I have already regarded this place as a temporary small home. The layout of the room is reasonable, the storage space is sufficient, and the items can be organized in a good way for long-term living. The details are very good, the lighting is soft and not dazzling, the sink is clean and there is no water, and there is no sanitary corner in the corner. Every day I come back, I can feel the refreshing and clean environment, plus the intimate service at the front desk, which makes people feel particularly warm and recommended to friends who need to stay for a long time!

GGuest UserIt's a two-unit-per-floor apartment with a private garden. The rooms and bathrooms were new and very clean. I didn't see any hair or anything like that on the bed or in the bathroom (I brought my own sheets). The owner was very nice. It would be better if the air conditioning in the larger room was a bit stronger, as it's been really hot in Hangzhou these past few days. The smaller room, however, had plenty of air conditioning. The location of the guesthouse is great; it's not on the main street, but it's right down from the Songzi Laifeng Bridge, and it's quite quiet at night. It's close to restaurants, shopping, and boat rides, and there are even travel photography studios downstairs. Xitang is truly beautiful, and it wasn't too crowded. A very satisfying trip.
