GGugugugagagajiejiejieMy mom and I stayed here, and we loved it at first sight! There's a huge courtyard, so relaxing to sunbathe there in the afternoon! Our room even had its own terrace, which we absolutely loved! The bed was also in a traditional Chinese style, and for a fan of that style like me, this inn was the dream inn of my life. There was even a guqin (a traditional Chinese stringed instrument) at the front desk – I loved that! I also love the name of the inn!!! In short, I love everything about it! Oh, and the owner also loves traditional Chinese style music; she plays all those songs, which I adore!!!

The front desk staff was warm and thoughtful, and the check-in was super fast. They also recommended fun places around, and the experience was perfect! The environment of the hotel is great, the lobby is spacious and bright, and the decoration style is very stylish. The room facilities are complete and it is very comfortable to live in I must praise this hotel! The location is excellent, travel is super convenient, and the surrounding food and attractions are very close. The service is even better. Welcome fruit was sent when checking in, and the staff can respond to any needs in time. The room hygiene is also very good, full of details, and there is really nothing to complain about! From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I felt the meticulous care. The room has a wide view and the scenery outside the window is beautiful. This stay experience is perfect! The hotel is very cost-effective, affordable but the quality is not discounted at all. The room is quiet and soundproof, which allows me to relax. The staff is friendly and comfortable like at home. I will come again next time!

The environment is beautiful and quiet, clean and tidy, the decoration is exquisite and high-quality, and the facilities are a bit old. The landlady is warm and thoughtful, and responsive to all requests.

MMichael ZargarovThis is a marvelous homestay-guesthouse. Located in a quiet area of the old-town, but very close to many bars and restaurants. Next door to a temple. The owner is a friendly man who loves cats... and has three lazy, fat cats who sleep most of the time. He even gave us chilled bottles of Perrier French mineral water upon our arrival! The courtyard has two Loquat trees which provided many delicious fruits. Our room was upstairs in this renovated old Qing-Dynasty house. We had a small private balcony. The bed was very comfortable, with great bolster pillows for watching movies on the huge screen. There was a refrigerator in the room. The bathroom was huge and even included a Japanese toilet with bidet functions. Soft towels. Good toiletries. The included breakfasts, served in the courtyard, were wonderful. Fried bread, two-kinds of dumplings, soy milk, boiled eggs. Delicious coffee. Watermelon slices. Xitang is a beautiful, if a bit over-commercialized ”ancient” town. We enjoyed our visit, and this lovely guest-house. The guesthouse is a bit hard to locate. It is in the Eastern part of the old town, near the bar street. For those who enjoy Hanfu, there are MANY shops nearby where you can rent the costumes.

AAnonymous UserThe sanitary conditions are average, but the only thing that dissatisfies me is the hair dryer, which needs to be pressed all the time. And what about your disposable bath towels and face towels? I may not be used to this, and I believe most people don’t like it.

The room was spotless, the bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the place was remarkably quiet at night. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, always ready to help, even offering to assist with luggage. A truly outstanding experience, I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time!

GGuest UserThe renovation is relatively new, and the owner provided parking information in advance; it's a 3-minute walk, very convenient! There's a bar with live music downstairs, which was a bit noisy when we were putting the kids to bed – a mistake on our part! The shower didn't have a glass partition or curtain to keep the water out, which felt strange. The bathtub is so big, but it's not really necessary. The toilet seat was a nice touch! Xitang is becoming increasingly commercialized; it's lost its ancient town charm. The guesthouse was still very clean. I hope the owner's business thrives!
