"This B&B is located inside the scenic area, and our room faced the street. We heard tricycles and electric scooters driving by all night, and the sound of their wheels on the cobblestone street was incredibly disruptive, making it impossible to sleep. Perhaps the rooms facing the water would be quieter. This completely shattered my perception of the peaceful and gentle ambiance I'd experienced in other Jiangnan water towns like Wuzhen and Nanxun. The hotel's location is otherwise decent, about a 3-4 minute walk from Sujia Alley. We arrived by bus from Wuzhen, and walking from the visitor center was quite inconvenient. While the room was generally clean and tidy, there were mosquitoes, and quite large ones at that. They did provide disposable towels, which was a nice touch. The proprietress at the front desk kindly helped us carry our luggage upstairs, and the hotel helped us purchase tickets for 70 yuan."

"The weather was cold and snowy, but the hotel service was incredibly warm, definitely a plus. I received a call from Ms. Yin, the customer service representative, even before arriving at the hotel. Ms. Wang, who handled check-in, was patient and attentive throughout, providing detailed information about breakfast times and answering all my questions. The room was clean and tidy, and there were five complimentary bottles of mineral water. Although there were a few minor flaws, Manager Dai handled them very well, and I was very satisfied. I will definitely stay here again. Furthermore, the hotel is located in the city center with complete surrounding facilities, beautiful night views, a large and convenient parking lot, and delicious breakfast."

The “Lao BanNiang” hostess is warm,attractive and thoughtful,making me feel the warmth of home even while traveling. "Xitang is truly beautiful, with its small bridges, flowing water, and traditional homes, offering both a lively atmosphere and the delicate charm of Jiangnan. The hotel's location is excellent; you just cross a small bridge and you're in the ancient town. My stay was very pleasant. Parking was super convenient, and the place felt really cozy. I had a great experience! The front desk staff, both the young men and women, were all lovely, gentle, and polite. They even offered late-night snacks and desserts! This is probably the best hotel experience I've had in Xitang. It will definitely be my top choice for my next visit."

"I brought my elderly parents to Xitang for Women's Day, and a friend recommended this hotel inside the scenic area. It truly has a beautiful Chinese garden design, with winding paths that create a wonderful sense of seclusion. We stayed in a balcony room, which even had a swing chair. It was incredibly pleasant to swing and chat with my family as the sun set. The room's wet/dry separation design was very practical, and the room service was exceptionally attentive. It was also very convenient to walk into the core scenic area. We had a panoramic view of Xitang bathed in sunshine and later, illuminated by fishing boats and lights. Watching people in traditional Hanfu attire wander through the scenic area felt like traveling a thousand years back in time, perfectly embodying the creative concept behind the 'Guangnian' (Lightyear) Hotel name!"

MM367384****💖When you come to Xitang, you absolutely must stay at this guesthouse!💖 This trip to Xitang was absolutely fantastic, I didn't want to leave! 🎈Excellent Location: The guesthouse is right inside the Xitang Ancient Town scenic area. 👍Attentive Service: The owner was there to greet us and take us to the guesthouse. She was also incredibly responsive when we encountered any problems. She even recommended nearby bars. The access control system was very secure, making our stay incredibly safe. In short, this guesthouse is perfect for family trips, couples' getaways, or solo travelers. I've already added it to my must-stay list for Xitang, and I'll definitely choose it again next time!

GGuest UserThe minimalist design of Xitang Yuanzhu HOTEL is absolutely charming. The predominantly white color scheme gives it a fresh and elegant feel. The hotel's rooftop garden is a photographer's dream, with many unique backdrops perfect for snapping some great photos. The location is excellent, right within the Xitang scenic area and quite central. Although it's close to the bar street, it's surprisingly quiet, so the soundproofing is pretty good. The rooms are clean and quite spacious. For families traveling with pets, this place is incredibly accommodating! You can bring your pets, and there's no cleaning fee. The room even has a small patio; while not huge, it's perfect for a little dog to wander around in.

DdyhxWhat a beautiful hotel, from outside to inside. It's located just outside Xitang Scenic Area, but they have a backdoor through the garden where the staff can escort and bring guests thru so you don't have to pay again for a ticket to enter the attraction. Every bit of the room is spacious, from the bathroom to shower area to the bedroom. I love how the bed faces a full ceiling to floor window where you can wake up to a lovely view while still lying in bed. The bed and pillows are firm and comfy. The water pressure in the shower is good but hard to control the temperature. The hair dryer is a little weak and took a while to dry my short hair. The room also came with a generous plate of fresh fruits. Service was excellent and friendly. Breakfast buffet was simple, nothing fancy but the usual staples are there and food quality is ok. The live noodles station was the best for me, can't go wrong with hot noodles soup & wantons, especially on a cold morning. Was given a beautiful tea cup as a farewell gift at check-out. Overall it was a great stay and I highly recommend anyone planning to stay a night at Xitang to stay here!
