"May be the best place to stay while visiting XITANG ancient water town, CITANG town itself is so beautiful so pairing with this hotel may be the greatest plan you’ll enjoy. 1 minute walk to the entrance gate which means everything is at your door steps. Room is super nice and extra big. From checking in to out, everything was perfectly smooth. Breakfast was good and fair. Only some negative situations ( for me ) GYM and LAUNDRY ROOMS can’t be used at late night, just only operating from 0800 to 2100, so if your in a rush…it’s impossible May be the best hotel in XITANG ancient town OH, it’s CHINA so just remember even you book NON SMOKING ROOM, you can get the smell every where"

"This B&B is located inside the scenic area, and our room faced the street. We heard tricycles and electric scooters driving by all night, and the sound of their wheels on the cobblestone street was incredibly disruptive, making it impossible to sleep. Perhaps the rooms facing the water would be quieter. This completely shattered my perception of the peaceful and gentle ambiance I'd experienced in other Jiangnan water towns like Wuzhen and Nanxun. The hotel's location is otherwise decent, about a 3-4 minute walk from Sujia Alley. We arrived by bus from Wuzhen, and walking from the visitor center was quite inconvenient. While the room was generally clean and tidy, there were mosquitoes, and quite large ones at that. They did provide disposable towels, which was a nice touch. The proprietress at the front desk kindly helped us carry our luggage upstairs, and the hotel helped us purchase tickets for 70 yuan."

"This hotel is perfectly situated right next to Xitang Scenic Area, just about 100 meters away on foot. It's truly the best hotel in the vicinity of Xitang. The room layout is incredibly well-designed; the bathroom and washroom are separate, and there's even a walk-in closet, plus a bathtub🛁. The bedding is just the right firmness – very comfortable, clean, and tidy. There's a central garden with a unique and beautiful landscape. The hotel restaurant's Squirrel Fish and Old Duck Wonton Pot were absolutely delicious, much more refined than what you'd find at outside restaurants. You can spot the hotel's exterior from Xitang, looking tranquil and inviting under the lights. A little tip: Xitang is free before 8 AM and after 5 PM."

"I brought my elderly parents to Xitang for Women's Day, and a friend recommended this hotel inside the scenic area. It truly has a beautiful Chinese garden design, with winding paths that create a wonderful sense of seclusion. We stayed in a balcony room, which even had a swing chair. It was incredibly pleasant to swing and chat with my family as the sun set. The room's wet/dry separation design was very practical, and the room service was exceptionally attentive. It was also very convenient to walk into the core scenic area. We had a panoramic view of Xitang bathed in sunshine and later, illuminated by fishing boats and lights. Watching people in traditional Hanfu attire wander through the scenic area felt like traveling a thousand years back in time, perfectly embodying the creative concept behind the 'Guangnian' (Lightyear) Hotel name!"

"Traveled with my child for two days during the May Day holiday. This hotel offers great value for money, with all dining, entertainment, and activities available on-site. The best part was the parent-child activities, which were a real lifesaver for families with kids, freeing up our hands completely! Most of these activities wrapped up before 4 PM, so I'd suggest adding some options for after 4 PM to make it even more perfect. The service was also excellent. Upon check-in, I added Front Office Manager Shi Liu on WeChat. She provided one-on-one assistance for our 3-day, 2-night stay, helping me arrange activities and book meals – everything was handled perfectly! The main thing is that my little one had a blast, and we'll definitely be back. The hotel is close to Jiashan South Station and there's a 'Jiashan Yueli' nearby with lovely night views. The room was spacious and very new; we booked a themed room this time, and my child absolutely loved it. We'll return again if we get the chance. Highly recommended! [Strong]"

"Finally, I stayed here on my own. I'd always booked for clients before, but this time, I brought a friend along to experience a river-view room in the heart of Xitang. It was worth the trip. We also saw the flower boats. There weren't many, only six, but they were perfect for the setting. Interlude: I asked the landlady to borrow two beautiful fire goblets, and then my friend dropped them on the floor. The first thing the landlady asked was if we had any scratches, and she didn't ask for compensation."

"We had a great stay. The guesthouse host was incredibly welcoming; they even went out of their way to meet and pick us up. They also helped us purchase discounted tickets. By communicating our arrival time and mode of transport in advance, they were able to suggest the most convenient travel options, which was incredibly helpful."

"Staying at this hotel was a truly wonderful experience. The location is excellent—just a few minutes’ walk from the main street, food market, shops, bars, restaurants, and one of the many beautiful canals and scenic spots. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the service exceeded all expectations. The staff were incredibly attentive and welcoming, with the concierge available at any time and always ready to help. They even went the extra mile by picking us up at the entrance gate and escorting us back to the taxi after check-out. Overall, everything was handled with great care and professionalism. "What a beautiful hotel, from outside to inside. It's located just outside Xitang Scenic Area, but they have a backdoor through the garden where the staff can escort and bring guests thru so you don't have to pay again for a ticket to enter the attraction. Every bit of the room is spacious, from the bathroom to shower area to the bedroom. I love how the bed faces a full ceiling to floor window where you can wake up to a lovely view while still lying in bed. The bed and pillows are firm and comfy. The water pressure in the shower is good but hard to control the temperature. The hair dryer is a little weak and took a while to dry my short hair. The room also came with a generous plate of fresh fruits. Service was excellent and friendly. Breakfast buffet was simple, nothing fancy but the usual staples are there and food quality is ok. The live noodles station was the best for me, can't go wrong with hot noodles soup & wantons, especially on a cold morning. Was given a beautiful tea cup as a farewell gift at check-out. Overall it was a great stay and I highly recommend anyone planning to stay a night at Xitang to stay here!"
