Great
KKichigo390The only way to get to the hotel from Calgary Airport is by car, but the hotel stated that they offered free airport shuttle service. I called to ask how to call the free shuttle, and they told me, ”We don't actually offer a free shuttle, but if you take a taxi from the airport to the hotel, you don't have to pay. The hotel will pay for it.”
When I mentioned at check-in that I needed a ride back to the airport, they arranged for a taxi for me, which was very helpful (and of course, the taxi fare was also free).
All rooms at this hotel seemed to have a kitchen.
Breakfast when I stayed included bread, bagels, muffins, cereal, fruit, oatmeal, boiled rice*, and yogurt (no sausage or bacon).
The best thing was that they had free use of the washing machine and dryer. It was very helpful!
The front desk staff were also very polite and helpful.
RRea DomingoFront desk agents had some trouble with their system at first but they were able to fix it calmly without too much trouble, they were really nice and fun to talk to. The overall experience was great. The place was near to everything and it had a nice view.

GGuest UserVery nice hotel. Room was very clean. Wi-FI is excellent!!! TV is more on a small size, but cable includes sports chancels! Beds comfortable enough. Lots of pillows. Keurig coffee maker is a blast. Breakfast excellent Everything you need for a comfortable stay. A little far from train, but you can use a bus. If you travel by car, there is no problem at all. Very convenient location very close to shopping mall.
GGuest UserThe hotel has good facilities and good value for money. The parking lot is in the underground garage and is very safe. However, the breakfast is not very tasty. It is no problem to eat enough. The room is relatively clean and the bedding is OK. But I don't know why, there is only a sheet on the top of the quilt. Do you just change the sheet every time? Do you sleep directly inside the quilt? Anyway, I turned it inside out and I don't understand? I haven't seen enough of the world, right?

GGuest UserI am very appreciative for my stay at this hotel. I came to Calgary for my ex husbands funeral and I needed to stay an extra night. The amazing front desk clerk was able to give me a really good rate because of why I am here. Thank you so much for your compassion ♥️ I will revise this review once I have the correct name.

GGuest UserNice enough room for the price. I only stayed for a night but the guy on reception was welcoming on checking in and the room had all of the required amenities for a short stay. The location is just outside of town so will require transport of some kind to get to the centre. Chinook was the closest CTrain stop and around a 15 minute walk.
GGuest UserThis motel is not Econo Lodge in & suites university. Which we stayed also, and was much better than this one (econo lodge motel village).
The room was small and the bathroom smelled unpleasant. The smell came from the shower curtain, which touches the bath tub water. When taking a shower, the water doesn't drain as fast so your feet end up soaking in that water along with the smelly fabric shower curtain. Also, the bath was weirdly higher than the ground so be very careful when getting in. During our stay, there were several bugs that found their way into our room during the night (Mosquitos, flies). The buzzing sound prevented us to sleep so we had to kill the bugs and go back to sleep each time. We also had problems with our room key, we had them replaced several times and you have to slide the card quite a few times before it unlocks. I think it's loose and you need to get the exact right angle, which is annoying when you have your hands full. I recommend the other econolodge situated behind this one. The staffs here are very friendly. For breakfast, they offered coffee, tea but without lids. There's bread and juice served in a solocup (but u can just use the coffee cup). There were muffins. If you have allergies, I suggest you to bring your own food. The price for this motel vs the other econolodge were the same. We try to avoid staying at the same place for our whole trip in case we don't like our room but we ended regretting not booking the other econolodge for our entire trip.

VVedanandThe room was clean, and I was not expecting to get such a nice and beautiful room to spend the night. It was beyond my expectation. Value for money. That's the main reason I trust Trip.com for all my bookings.

In my experience, the card key failed to open the entrance door but it was replaced at the reception office. I felt safe to be in the second floor due to the entrance door that nobody can enter but the guests with the card key.
I was looking for bedroom slippers but they had none.
