KKichigo390The only way to get to the hotel from Calgary Airport is by car, but the hotel stated that they offered free airport shuttle service. I called to ask how to call the free shuttle, and they told me, ”We don't actually offer a free shuttle, but if you take a taxi from the airport to the hotel, you don't have to pay. The hotel will pay for it.”
When I mentioned at check-in that I needed a ride back to the airport, they arranged for a taxi for me, which was very helpful (and of course, the taxi fare was also free).
All rooms at this hotel seemed to have a kitchen.
Breakfast when I stayed included bread, bagels, muffins, cereal, fruit, oatmeal, boiled rice*, and yogurt (no sausage or bacon).
The best thing was that they had free use of the washing machine and dryer. It was very helpful!
The front desk staff were also very polite and helpful.
AArawlaThe location worked for me because of the functions I was attending in the neighbourhood. It may not for others as there no restaurants or shopping close by. A typical airport hotel. Room was clean. Good basic amenities, fridge, microwave, iron & board, work desk, tv etc. I really liked the shower stall instead of the typical bath tub. The 24 coffee service in the lobby was a plus. There is also available snacks available for purchase. The pool and hot tub were nice to relax at after a tiring day. One of the elevators shudders as it reaches the 4th floor. The breakfast area was little crowded in the mornings with people waiting for things to be replenished. I skipped breakfast on both days I was there. A good stay overall.
GGuest UserFarther from downtown than anticipated, but that was my fault for not checking that out beforehand. Still, I used the airport shuttle to get back to the airport and from there I could get a train to downtown.
GGuest UserVery nice hotel. Room was very clean. Wi-FI is excellent!!! TV is more on a small size, but cable includes sports chancels! Beds comfortable enough. Lots of pillows. Keurig coffee maker is a blast. Breakfast excellent Everything you need for a comfortable stay. A little far from train, but you can use a bus. If you travel by car, there is no problem at all. Very convenient location very close to shopping mall.
GGuest UserAll was fine except that on this visit there was no wifi that made it difficult to check in for our flight or receive updates about the status of our flight.
As a British person we would have preferred milk to be available for out tea not cream
PPJBOYBreakfast was ok (scramble egg + beacon or sausage, yogurt, bread and pancake)
Shower must provide the anti slipped rubber pad (very slippery)
Room space was good, swimming pool facility, Ice machine

1110069****The room was on the first floor, and the parking lot was right outside the window. If you wanted privacy, you couldn't open the curtains. It seemed to be a wooden structure; footsteps from upstairs were clearly audible. There were also occasional unexplained noises. Thankfully, I got a different room.
GGuest UserThis motel is not Econo Lodge in & suites university. Which we stayed also, and was much better than this one (econo lodge motel village).
The room was small and the bathroom smelled unpleasant. The smell came from the shower curtain, which touches the bath tub water. When taking a shower, the water doesn't drain as fast so your feet end up soaking in that water along with the smelly fabric shower curtain. Also, the bath was weirdly higher than the ground so be very careful when getting in. During our stay, there were several bugs that found their way into our room during the night (Mosquitos, flies). The buzzing sound prevented us to sleep so we had to kill the bugs and go back to sleep each time. We also had problems with our room key, we had them replaced several times and you have to slide the card quite a few times before it unlocks. I think it's loose and you need to get the exact right angle, which is annoying when you have your hands full. I recommend the other econolodge situated behind this one. The staffs here are very friendly. For breakfast, they offered coffee, tea but without lids. There's bread and juice served in a solocup (but u can just use the coffee cup). There were muffins. If you have allergies, I suggest you to bring your own food. The price for this motel vs the other econolodge were the same. We try to avoid staying at the same place for our whole trip in case we don't like our room but we ended regretting not booking the other econolodge for our entire trip.

VVedanandThe room was clean, and I was not expecting to get such a nice and beautiful room to spend the night. It was beyond my expectation. Value for money. That's the main reason I trust Trip.com for all my bookings.
