"I have been to the area a few times and typically stay down-town, but this time I decided to do something different and I am so glad I did. I was traveling for spring break with my high school aged daughter. Having a hotel with free ample parking, a pool, and a kitchenette was perfect for us. The kitchenette was adorable; we brought our own groceries and saved time and money by not eating out (which to me is always a cost killer when traveling). The bed was comfy, the space was perfect for hanging out in the evenings, the pool was a decent size and never crowded, and the staff were all super friendly. I also found the place to be particularly clean."

"We were exhausted from loading the U-Haul. We arrived at the hotel at 1:30am tired and ready to get a decent night’s sleep. Boy were we wrong. To start, the door didn’t have a room number. The room was awful. There were cigarette burns in the sheets and blankets. There was also dirt on the sheets. The bathtub was disgusting. We slept with our clothes on for fear what might be on the linens. The door wouldn’t lock. Thank goodness I put the hook on the door. When we woke up the door was open about 1/2 inch. To make things better, it was snowing outside. The owners didn’t care at all."

"This hotel seemed a good value but we had a major issue. After several tries, even the staff could not get the key card to work. Another room was provided but unfortunately, we could not access medication, feminine hygiene products, toiletries, food/water. I deducted points from the service score as we were left without updates as to when maintenance would assist us. Trip customer service reported that nobody would answer the phone when they tried to assist us. It was not until I inquired that were were informed were would be locked out until the next morning. As a result, I had to go out and purchase necessities. Despite the cost and inconvenience all Trip.com offered was $5 in coins, which is unacceptable. The hotel said they would refund to our card but since we booked Trip the couldn't do anything. That said, the staff was courteous and professional, one staff member even loaned us a phone charge cable which was appreciated. The room itself was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and this was the best part of the stay. Breakfast: I don't recommend the breakfast. The offerings were very similar to other hotels but preparation seems to be the weak link. For example, the sausage appeared to have just thawed and was colder than room temp. The eggs were watery with brown chunks in them, perhaps from scorching the bottom. TLDR: Our needs were minimal and without our difficulties with the key cards and breakfast this would have been a good value. It's concerning that a hotel doesn't have a way to access a room in an emergency scenario."
