Spa Hotels in Yangshuo

Room was very clean, and toilet and shower were separate. Smoking was apparently permitted in rooms despite my request for a non-smoking room, but there was no smoke smell in the room and it was well ventilated with the attached balcony which faced the river and had pretty views. I had issues with the electricity tripping, but the front desk resolved this very quickly by giving me a card specifically for the power outlet in my room. The hotel had washers and dryers for clothes free to use for all guests and even an area with hangers and poles to air dry your laundry, but the time I was there, there were many insects at night (the hotel did put a warning sign at the door). The laundry also apparently closes at 11pm but I did not notice this until I was done with my laundry at 1am. The caretaker who did the evening rounds also did not chase me away and let me use the area until I completed my laundry. The hotel was located near the Longtoushan pier where the Li River Cruises end and disembark. It’s supposedly a 3-5-min walk from the pier to the hotel, but the area tends to be very crowded as all the cruises tend to arrive together (~1.30-2pm). The stretch of pavement from the pier to the street is also very bumpy and not luggage-friendly, but you may contact the hotel to fetch you with a buggy but they tend to be too busy to accommodate at that time too. Apart from this timing, the street is generally very quiet. If walking at night, i would recommend bringing a torch light as the street is very dark. It’s also a 10-15min walk away from Xijie (west street) where there are many food options and souvenirs. The hotel has an attached cafe and restaurant too if you just want to chill in the afternoon. It’s a little pricey for this area but overall a good and comfortable stay! The rooftop also has very pretty views of the mountains and the river, and a great place for some quiet time in the morning!

The stay at SYYF was one of the best hotels I’ve ever been to. The room is cozy and spacious, with gorgeous floor to ceiling windows with a great view of the mountains. It’s also a hi tech smart room with a voice controlled assistant, Xiaodu, that can control the lights and open/shut the curtains (though it only understands Chinese). There’s also a cute tea set which is great for relaxing by the window. The room is equipped with AC and heat that works great, and the lights can go from bright to a dimmer evening mode, as well as sleep. We also got complimentary sodas, extremely cozy robes and nice house shoes for lounging. The breakfast is served 8-10AM is was definitely one of the best we have experienced in China while traveling. It was robust and offered both regional and western cuisine. There is a lot of ongoing construction on the street that the property is on so be careful. It may be a bit of traffic congestion due to large machines, however the noise was not heard from our room. It might be challenging for Didi drivers to access but there are also e-scooters for rent for about 30 yuan per day. The hotel is surrounded by mountains which are lit up at night for a gorgeous landscape at any time. The welcome photoshoot was fun, with traditional clothes you can borrow. We spent about 30-45 minutes using different props across 3 locations on the property, and got tons of photos that we loved. The staff is so accommodating and responsive and they helped with every little question. The bring lots of thoughtful small pleasantries which added a special touch and made us feel very cherished. They also offered a free shuttle for our departure ride to the train station at the end of our stay. We came in early January and the weather was chilly at night and pleasant during the day. With a jacket it’s not too bad and on a sunny day it’s pleasant with a cool breeze. We had a massage too, which you can order to your room or go to the spa which is close, and they provide shuttle service. The massage was good but a bit pricey even with the 50% off. There are less expensive places in the town not too far away. West street is a popular tourist spot which is also close, about 15-20 minutes away by e-scooter. There’s plenty of shopping, restaurants and a little night life, but we didn’t go out during this trip. 10/10 experience and I would definitely recommend staying here! I can’t imagine staying anywhere else when I come back to Yangshuo, and this place makes you REALLY want to come back!

All staffs are super friendly, informative, responsive and supportive. We stayed in a clean cozy quiet room 510 facing the backstreet. Located at the entrance of Yangshuo West Street. Some of the tour arrangement service available at the front-desk. The only shortcoming is the lift going to the level 2 hotel lobby is a little difficult to find but it doesn’t affect the overall quality and service of this hotel.

Unbeatable location. I thought it's gonna be loud since it's so close to 西街. Actually you cant really hear much noise from the street if you close the balcony door. Also, remember to close the balcony door during lunch and dinner time, otherwise cooking smoke from surrounding restaurants can get into your room. Overall it's a great stay.

Booking and Check-In I booked my stay at the Shixi Landscape Hotel in Yangshuo, Guilin, through Trip.com. The check-in process was very smooth and didn’t take long at all. One pleasant surprise was the option to upgrade our room for free, which we accepted. This upgraded room came with a lovely balcony. Although the staff couldn’t speak English, they were very friendly and helpful. Using a translation app made communication easy. Room Details We stayed in a standard double room with an upgrade to a balcony room. The room also featured a bathtub, which was a nice touch. Upon entering, the room was fairly clean, though there were some water stains on the floor and the carpet had a few dirty spots. The amenities were average, including a selection of soft drinks in the minibar and some snacks on the table. Despite these minor cleanliness issues, the bed was very comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep. Facilities and Services The hotel had a restaurant where we received a complimentary breakfast upgrade. Unfortunately, the breakfast did not meet our expectations. While the Chinese food selection seemed okay, the international options were quite disappointing. The sausages were undercooked, the bacon was not good, and the cereal options looked and tasted stale. The only decent international option was toast with butter. It’s a relief we didn’t pay extra for it. Although I noticed the hotel had a spa, gym, and pool, I didn’t get a chance to use them. The pool looked nice but was small and shallow, not suitable for a serious swim. There was no room service available as far as I knew. Location and Accessibility The hotel’s location was fantastic, situated right next to the Li River and only a short 5-minute walk to the main shops and streets in the town. It was very easy to find and access, making it a convenient base for exploring Yangshuo. Customer Service The overall customer service was great. The staff were very friendly and polite, and we encountered no issues during our stay. Overall Experience The best part of our stay was the hotel’s prime location, which made it easy to visit tourist attractions. The hotel staff were also very helpful in arranging scooter rentals for a very reasonable price of ¥30 per day, which allowed us to explore the beautiful scenery around Yangshuo. However, there is room for improvement. The breakfast selection, particularly the international options, needs significant enhancement. Additionally, a thorough deep cleaning of the carpets would greatly improve the room’s cleanliness. In conclusion, while I would recommend the Shixi Landscape Hotel for its location and overall good service, it is on the pricier side for Yangshuo. Given the cost, I expected a bit more in terms of breakfast quality and room cleanliness. Nonetheless, it is a decent option for those looking to stay near the Li River and the town’s main attractions.

The hotel facade was not as expected but the room was comfortable, very spacious and the service is very good! We were initially given a low floor room with obstructed views and requested for a higher room. The guest service was very accommodating and moved us up to another room which cost lesser and given us a refund for the difference. Love the small freebies like ginger tea, which was so good for the cold weather.

Environmental boss service is OK, but I will not go to Guangxi in the future! The price comparison of the hotel before and after May 1st is unsightly! It is also the first time to live in such an expensive hotel without breakfast! The price of the festival increases, customers can understand, but the increase is outrageous. Yangshuo traffic is very inconvenient! The pit road is a bit sparse, pay attention to safety when driving the chassis is low, Guilin city road is better. The food is not delicious, the choice is less, there is a beer fish bamboo tube chicken everywhere, people who are going to Yangshuo at the festival, avoid lightning! Guangxi's tourism bureau should be in charge, no one to consume, see how you rise.

Good place, peace and quiet. Away from city centre so can sleep well. Room is clean and tidy, comfy bed, good powerful shower. All the hotel amenities provided. Non smelly hotel. Smell nice. Can’t smell cigarette smoke in the room which is brilliant. Brand new hotel. Good decor. Small pool Upstairs to enjoy the scenery. A restaurant upstairs large enough to bill at the roof top. Overall, very satisfied

It is super convenient for travel and it is easy to go to various attractions. ✨When you first enter the lobby, you will be amazed by its grandeur! The full log style, matched with various utensils of the Stone Age farming civilization, creates a full sense of atmosphere, and every shot is a beautiful photo! There are lots of sofas, tables and chairs for rest on the first floor, and a chess and card room, SPA room, gym and laundry room on the second floor. The gym is fully equipped, and the laundry room has four washing machines and dryers, which can serve several customers at the same time. The hotel is also equipped with multiple meeting rooms, which can meet all team building and office needs. 🎉The stay experience is absolutely amazing! There is mineral water thoughtfully placed at the elevator entrance. You can take it whenever you want to drink it. You no longer have to worry about being ”ripped off” by the scenic spot. The room is very large, with log-style furniture and murals of the same theme, as well as a projector and a refrigerator full of drinks. The balcony is also very large, with a log-style coffee table and chairs, and it is super comfortable to feel the natural breeze. Breakfast is on the 7th floor. On weekdays when there are fewer people, we have the Guilin rice noodle set meal.
