"The hotel's facilities are very modern, clean, and beautiful. Not only did they offer complimentary afternoon tea, but there was also a late-night snack service. I initially planned to stay one night in Yangshuo during my road trip, but because the hotel's service was so exceptional, I extended my stay for another day, and they even gave me a discount. The in-room amenities were also very complete. My clothes took a long time to dry overnight, and the hotel staff kindly helped collect them and returned them to my room the next day, making us feel completely at home. My experience in Yangshuo was fantastic; not only is the scenery beautiful, but the people are wonderful too. The hotel's photography service was also incredibly professional. I only expected to get three retouched photos as a complimentary gift, but the photos turned out to be stunning. I ended up taking all of them and even received a discount. These are our family's genuine feelings. I highly recommend staying here."

CcoldmonkeyMy trip was actually in October, a three-day, two-night stay. I never got around to reviewing it, but this hotel left me with nothing but wonderful memories. Let me share some small details.
1/ The hotel's location is excellent, right within the Ten-Mile Gallery scenic area. Plus, the hotel offers free golf carts (super new and modern!), which made getting around incredibly convenient. We drove there, parked our car, and then relied solely on the golf carts – even driving to West Street was a breeze.
2/ Breakfast can be ordered to your room, and the taste is decent. You can order anything from the menu as long as you don't waste it; there's an additional charge of 30 RMB per person. It's great to be able to have breakfast without having to get dressed up.
3/ We had one dinner at the hotel restaurant. The food was alright; I recommend the beer fish. The prices were reasonable, and after using the 100 RMB voucher we received upon check-in, the total for two people was just over 200 RMB.
4/ The fruit and beverages in the room were replenished daily. The SPA center staff, particularly the Indonesian lady, gave incredibly comfortable massages – I actually fell asleep during mine.
5/ The hotel provides fishing gear and bait if you want to try fishing. We tried it for a bit, but didn't catch anything.
6/ Afternoon tea is available as many times as you stay nights, which is a nice touch.
7/ The service was truly excellent. They added me on WeChat before check-in to communicate, and during our stay, they were always responsive to our requests. In terms of service, they deserve full marks.
**Downside:** The public areas are a bit small.

Zzhangshaoju****I had a wonderful experience at the Poetry & Faraway Lijiang Courtyard in Guilin, so I decided to stay at another Poetry & Faraway property in Yangshuo this time – the Riverside Courtyard. It was just as great! The location is a bit out of the way, but the scenery is beautiful. Honestly, most places in Yangshuo with great river views tend to be a bit remote. The hotel itself is clean and tidy, with a spacious courtyard. But the main highlight is the excellent service; they really think of everything. All in all, a very pleasant experience. Highly recommend!

Kkids****This hotel, designed on the site of an old sugar mill, is a fantastic mix of modern wabi-sabi and industrial historical styles – perfect for photos. The lobby and pool area are the most impressive parts of the hotel's environment and design; the natural scenery at the end of the pool is stunning. You can feel the incredible design in all the public areas, making it ideal for guests who love taking pictures.
I really enjoyed the osmanthus essential oil diffuser in the room; I even went to the hotel's boutique during a walk to buy a bottle. To my surprise, the front desk gave me another one when I checked out, so now I can keep using it at home! 😁
The hotel service was also very warm and attentive. The butler was always available to answer questions and frequently asked if I needed more drinking water or other items.
Getting to West Street by taxi from the hotel is very quick, which makes it super convenient for guests who aren't driving.

The hotel's facilities and services are quite high-end, and the staff are incredibly kind, attentive, and enthusiastic! There's a restaurant, afternoon tea, and a scenic balcony on the fifth floor, but we didn't go up because it was raining. If the weather had been good, it would have been perfect for photos! The hotel is right by the road, but it's completely quiet thanks to the soundproof glass.

YYxinyueNestled by the stunning Li River, with rolling mountains in the distance, this Banyan Tree hotel stands apart from those with artificial landscaping. It's built directly on the Li River, surrounded by mountains on three sides, uniquely occupying a corner of the Yulong River. Every evening, the lobby bar hosts a sunset ritual, accompanied by folk songs and the striking of gongs, symbolizing 'joy, auspiciousness, and a warm welcome.'
The hotel also offers numerous family-friendly activities, such as encountering peacocks, feeding ducks, watching fish by the lake, and playing soccer on the lawn.
Facilities: The standard rooms are 66 square meters, which isn't huge, but the decor is decent. The 1.1-meter-wide beds are a bit narrow. The mattress has a soft and a firm side; I found the soft side too soft the first night, but it was better after the staff flipped it to the firm side the next day.
Aside from bottled water, everything in the mini-bar is chargeable.
There are a few small fruits and two or three small snacks provided daily, and a complimentary small bowl of sweet soup is offered during the evening sunset ritual.
I tried the full-body relaxation spa massage, which cost over a thousand yuan. I fell asleep, so I can't really judge the technique.
It's very pleasant to simply stroll around the hotel daily, walk along the Li River, interact with the small animals, and watch the peacocks display their feathers!
Every staff member I encountered, whether at the front desk, in the restaurant, or for room service, was incredibly enthusiastic. The assigned 'little housekeeper' would send greetings in the morning and evening and quickly resolve any issues.
My only minor complaint is being asked for a review immediately after checking out, followed by a phone call in the evening. Guests are often tired from a day of travel and haven't even had a chance to rest properly. It felt like being hounded for debt, which ruins any good mood for leaving a review. Even excellent service can be spoiled by this! Especially considering other hotels that explicitly require adding the housekeeper's name for a five-star review, I don't understand the management's intention behind making employees do this.
Any service review should be a genuine expression from the guest's heart. How can hotels 'earn' a review instead of 'soliciting' it? The core lies precisely in the service process itself:
1. Provide sincere service that exceeds expectations.
2. Create memorable experiences.
3. Respect guests' freedom to provide feedback, giving them space without pressure.
For other potential guests, this is the most trustworthy guide.

GGuest UserI have been very busy recently and only now have time to write a review. Let me first say the conclusion: this is definitely the best hotel in our one-month trip. Not only is the hotel of high style and modern and comfortable decoration, the rooms have a wide view and a large sense of space. The room 402 we stayed in has a large panoramic window. We stayed there for three days and stayed in the room for two days, drinking tea and watching the rolling mountains and bamboo rafts outside the window. This is the wild scenery of Yangshuo that we most want to see. What really makes us remember this hotel even though we have traveled to other places is its service and culture: there is a faint aroma of essential oils as soon as you enter the hotel, which instantly makes people let down their guard; the rice noodles for breakfast are very appetizing, and what surprises us even more is that their rice porridge is very warm and sweet, and paired with the equally carefully prepared Lipu taro and pasta dishes, it is really perfect for people like us who want to have a light taste early in the morning. There are many small things that reflect their dedication to running this hotel. For example, a guest said the night before that he wanted to sleep with the window open but did not want to be bitten by mosquitoes. The next day, the front desk clerk called a master to install screens in all the rooms. Details reveal a person's true character, and we were completely moved by the sincerity of this hotel. Yangshuo was originally just a stop on our trip, but because this hotel provided a full sense of vacation, we decided to come back next time we travel.

MM516038****I chose this hotel online, and it turned out to be pretty good. My friend and I were traveling together and picked this place. It's quite convenient for getting around, about a ten-minute walk from West Street. There are also many rice noodle shops and local specialty restaurants serving beer fish nearby. The hotel environment is quite pleasant, and the rooms are very clean with good hygiene. They can also help book special tours to Xiang Gong Mountain and the 'Thousands of Miles of Rivers and Mountains' scenic area, from which I got some really satisfying photos. I'll definitely come back next time.

YYiwanwanTaking advantage of the Christmas holiday to travel from Hong Kong back to mainland China, the Riverside Hotel truly exceeded my expectations! The front desk upgraded me to a river view room. The room was spacious and clean, with good facilities and amenities. The most delightful surprise was the hotel's surroundings; nestled by the mountains and water, after breakfast, I took a stroll along the river, accompanied by the scent of osmanthus, and my mood instantly lifted! The location is also excellent. You can walk to Gongnong Bridge to rent an e-bike for exploring, or walk a few more minutes to Qing'e Ferry Terminal to take a bamboo raft (this raft route offers a wide view, allowing you to see the 'camel crossing the river'!). The hotel breakfast also offered a rich variety. All in all, highly recommended!

The front desk lady was incredibly helpful; she even upgraded our room. The bed was super comfortable, and everything was very clean.
