Hotel located at a great location along Queen Street, surrounded with heritage buildings and churches. 200m walking distance from Bras Basah MRT Station. Just two stops from Orchard Road. On the other side, visitors are welcomed by Bugis Street, Bugis+, Bugis Junction, Albert Centre for some of the best hawker food, Bencoolen and Waterloo. Within walking distance to Haji Lane and Northbridge for those who are adventurous. Always a wise choice to book your stay with Hotel Royal @ Queens.

This was my fourth stay at this hotel. The first and second visits were impressive and left a great impression. However, during my third visit, I felt the overall experience had noticeably declined, which made me think it might have been a one-off issue. Unfortunately, this fourth stay confirmed my concerns, and I’ve decided it will be my last.

Pros: The hotel is close to the subway, making it very convenient for getting around. The rooms are also quite spacious compared to other hotels. The front desk staff provided good service; they were always helpful and answered all our questions. They even gave me a map, which was a thoughtful touch. Now for the downsides, which I have quite a few: 1. The facilities are extremely dated! I was genuinely shocked to see such an ancient air conditioning switch. The room felt a bit damp and had a strange smell upon entering, especially since the windows couldn't be opened. On the first night, I felt a strange chill after getting into bed, and by the next morning, my throat started to feel sore. To my disbelief, the air conditioning unit was still off – completely untouched! This was quite astonishing and left me feeling very disappointed. Since cancelling wasn't an option, I had no choice but to reluctantly endure the stay. 2. There was no complimentary bottled water provided in the room. The electric kettle was hidden away under a cabinet, and it took us a long time to find it, eventually having to ask the front desk. They also failed to mention that there was a drinking water dispenser in the hallway, which we only discovered much later! 3. Despite staying for several days, the incredibly thin disposable slippers were not replaced daily. I had to call the front desk once to request a fresh pair, but to my dismay, they still didn't proactively replace them the following day. I had to call *again* just to get new slippers!

Our family had a great experience. Super close to Bugis MRT and Bugis Street for shopping and food. Our room was clean, quiet, and perfect for our needs. Friendly staff and great service especially to JR at the Reception and Aaron from Concierge. Would definitely return!

Only stayed 2 nights. Good building with reasonable sized rooms for the price and location. Walking distance to Bugis and Raffles City Mall. The location makes this.

Fantastic hotel stay! Spacious room, great views, and excellent amenities like a kettle and iron. Only issue was no shower gel. Convenient airport location and plenty of nearby eateries. Friendly receptionist too. Would definitely recommend!

We a group of 8 guests checked in on27th October and check out 28Oct. We were going to cruise on 28Oct to 31st Oct. understand your hotel is under renovation and caused inconvenience. We have a duffer small bag wanted to put at your concierge which is some dry food. The concierge was very kind to help us and we will collect on 31st Oct at 2pm.A staff called LING LING refused us to keep there. A manager on duty was a lady and despite we asked a kind Favour and she also refused to help us. It was an unpleasant stay and staffs are not understanding. flexibleunderstand

Some feedback: - The centralised aircond system is very noisy in the room and the whole floor (16th) in corridor. - Toilet has terrible smell though the exhaust is working. Staff were helpful and responsive but unable to solve the problems.

Hotel has nice location, near MRT station and Bugis street, easy to go anywhere. Room is clean and good, bathroom standard also good.

The hotel location was great, right at the heart of the shopping belt and good location for all kinds of food. Room was clean and breakfast spread was generous. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Had a great time for the short break. Looking forward to come back next year.
