Marriott Properties in Shenzhen

Huge thanks to all the staff at Kaisa Group Marriott for their genuine, meticulous, and thoughtful arrangements! Aria Pan was incredibly helpful during check-in.😇 During our two-day summer family trip, both my 3-year-old and 13-year-old kids enjoyed a packed schedule of activities and kept exclaiming that they wanted to come back! At check-in, the front desk provided a summer activity guide, and we basically checked off every activity and were very satisfied. The hotel is huge with lots of activities, and different areas have play zones with corresponding rest areas, making the kids happy and the adults comfortable. The staff were very enthusiastic in providing directions, which I greatly appreciate. They take 'water safety first' very seriously. There are staff members present at both the indoor and outdoor pools, as well as the beach, to provide guidance. For instance, staff at the beach would prevent people from getting too close to the water outside of operating hours. The children's amenities and birthday decorations I requested in advance were all pleasantly arranged, adding a wonderful memory to our trip. Thanks again to Kaisa Group Marriott Hotel. First off, there's no concierge service on the ground floor, so I had to drag my luggage up to the 43rd-floor lobby myself. The front desk staff wasn't even sure if the hotel provided free cribs. The biggest issue was the air conditioning breaking down in the middle of the night; my baby woke up hot and couldn't sleep properly, and I was hot too. Then, all the lights in the room suddenly turned on around 5 AM. By 8 or 9 AM, I noticed the room temperature was stuck between 26 and 26.5 degrees Celsius and wouldn't cool down. I called the front desk to have someone check it, and later they called back to say there was a problem with their main AC unit and it was under repair 🛠️. Not once did any staff member apologize. Also, the outside window had severe water stains that weren't cleaned, which really affected the view. Overall, this stay was a truly terrible experience. I feel the room rate is overpriced, and I won't be choosing Marriott again in the future.
