We had a wonderful anniversary celebration at The St. Regis Shanghai Bund. The butler team's service far exceeded our expectations; they were incredibly meticulous and attentive. The romantic setup they prepared was wonderful, and the handwritten card was a particularly thoughtful touch. Throughout our stay, the butler team consistently provided us with highly professional service. The hotel also boasts an excellent location, with our room offering direct views of the Huangpu River and the Oriental Pearl TV Tower. The night view was spectacular!

The moment I stepped into the lobby, I was captivated by its elegant European style. The staff greeted us with constant smiles and guided us throughout, making the check-in process incredibly efficient. The guest rooms were beautifully appointed, and the bedding was so soft it felt like sleeping on a cloud. We booked two rooms, each offering a unique view. From the floor-to-ceiling windows, we could enjoy views of the Bund's iconic trio of skyscrapers. The hotel is conveniently located very close to the Chenghuang Temple and Yu Garden, both within easy walking distance.

It's hard to summarize my experience here; it was a stark contrast to the perfect stay I had at St. Regis Qingdao. The river view was the main draw, and the night view was just okay. While I acknowledge I arrived early, as I'd planned to have lunch at the Western restaurant, after my meal I inquired twice about my room. However, I wasn't notified when it was finally ready and had to go ask myself. I was told it was a very busy day. The bed rail I requested in my booking notes was simply left on the floor, so I decided not to bother the staff with installing it. However, I do want to thank the concierge for assisting with my luggage. And a big thank you to all the service staff.

I can't praise the butler team at The St. Regis Shanghai Bund enough! My stay happened to coincide with my birthday, and Amber, Boris, and Astrid from the butler team, upon learning this, went above and beyond with surprises: a warm, handwritten birthday card, a St. Regis signature teddy bear so adorable I couldn't bear to put it down, and a beautifully arranged petal bubble bath in the room – the ambiance was absolutely perfect. What was even more thoughtful was the custom room key cards and luggage tags they prepared, and Amber even gifted us her personal St. Regis signature pin to adorn the teddy bear! Every single detail felt incredibly thoughtful, truly showcasing their commitment to personalized service. Throughout my stay, any request was met with an instant and professional response from the butler team, leaving me feeling meticulously cared for. I truly want to commend their professionalism and genuine warmth once more!

The room was large and with great view. The decor is a bit old, over decorated and the fragrance inside a bit overpowering. Each to their own. But The service was very good and accommodating. All in all it was a pleasant stay because of the nice service.

The St. Regis was absolute perfection from start to finish. The staff were attentive and genuinely caring, the rooms were beyond beautiful, and the breakfasts were nothing short of amazing. Every aspect of the hotel exceeded my expectations. The art and decor are absolutely stunning — there’s a unique charm and elegance to the space that reminded me of the atmosphere in the BioShock series, which fans of the game will definitely appreciate. I’ll absolutely be back. Thank you to the entire team at The St. Regis for such an unforgettable experience.

I normally don’t like to write reviews. But I have to say St Regis on the Bund is exceptional, feeling guilty if I haven’t given a five-star review! Everything is perfect, from location with beat river view to detailed services. Definitely we will return next time when revisit Shanghai.

The hotel is in a great location with spectacular view of both side of the bund. Certain rooms are quite worn out , one can see some stains on the wall panel and carpets...  Excellent Chinese restaurants in this hotel. The general manager Mr.Breuer was very efficient, he over see  all the details and made sure that our problems were solved quickly!

This was one of my best hotel stays by far in Shanghai. The service, the suite and the Bund view were beyond amazing. I came to the hotel for my birthday and stayed 2 nights. The hotel beautifully decorated my suite and had a nice chocolate cake prepared for me. I have to give special appreciation to the manager Ms. Kimmie. She really took the time to welcome me and made sure all my needs were met. Would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone who wants a true 5 star hotel experience.

Extremely happy with my stay at St.Regis! Location was perfect, and we absolutely love the breakfasts! Highly recommended. 

The services have been good but a little bit out of the central location like Nanjing road tourist area. The hotel always has helpful staff to await your return from outside . They will assist you to take your shoppings and greet you upon your arrival. This is a rear seen assistance from other hotels. The scenery from window is excellent and you may see the magnificent scene all day.
