Smoking everywhere 🤢 Hotel rooms need renovations. Only two things are good - breakfast and spacious room

Wonderful hotel experience—spotless rooms, friendly staff, and a great location overall!

The room service was absolutely terrible. The front desk staff would rather let your takeout rot than put it on the robot for delivery.

The room rate was quite reasonable and offered good value for money. Check-in was convenient, and the hygiene was decent. The infrastructure wasn't perfect, but the service was attentive, and the location, while not directly next to the subway, was still acceptably close.

Excellent! Convenient, spacious, bright, and very clean. The location is great for transportation, and the service is attentive. I'll definitely choose this place again next time. Highly recommended, everyone should check it out!

Check-in is on the fifth floor, so you have to take the elevator up to the 5th floor first to complete the process, then take another elevator to the sixth floor. The hotel's style is quite similar to the movie 'The Shining,' which is a bit creepy. The ceiling height is low, and there are an incredible number of rooms, like a maze that takes ages to navigate. Although it's called 'Magnolia,' I found out it used to be a Jinjiang Inn. When I came back in the evening, two men in front of me used their cards to open another woman's room, then smirked and ran off. It was a bit scary, and I don't know why, but it made me feel very uneasy during my stay. The soundproofing is also terrible; I could hear every single sound from the hallway. The toilet dripping in the middle of the night was so noisy, and I could even feel the vibrations from someone snoring in the adjacent room. The cleaning staff started knocking on the door at 10:30 AM, which was very disruptive. All I can say is it was a very bad experience, and I absolutely do not recommend it.

The facilities are old, the bathroom door lock is broken, the window can't be closed, and the duvet cover and pillowcases are severely yellowed. One of the complimentary bottled waters in the room had already been opened and partially consumed. I strongly do not recommend this place.

The hotel's cleanliness truly met my expectations; every area, from common spaces to the guest rooms, felt comfortable and well-maintained. As for the service, from check-in to check-out, every step of the process was attentive. All the staff members were polite, patiently answered questions, and made sure guests felt secure and at ease during their stay.

I really recommend this hotel to everyone. It’s clean and has a good location near huangpu river and lujiazui district.

Pros: Stayed 3 nights and had an overall good stay. Good value for money, spacious room, daily room service, staff is always available. The hotel is located in a good area, 18mins walking distance from metro Tangqiao. Cons: 1) Guests must know that although it’s forbidden to smoke, there’s always strong smoke smell in the corridor. Even though we booked a non smoking room, our room had always a strong smoke smell, so we had to sleep with the window open every night. This was coming from the corridor and from the bathroom ventilation conduct. 2) Guests from nearby rooms were disrespectful all three nights making noise, so we didn’t sleep well. 3) Staff doesn’t speak English but easy to communicate via translators.

The Hotel location is good. You can walk to the River, 1km. Rooms are not great... Overall I suggest take it if there is no other option nearby or as per required location.

A bit far from tourist spot but the price is cheap!!! Staff are friendly and comfortable stay
