View from my room was awesome. View from my parents room was another building LOL. Hotel helps with Taobao collections and have a weighing scale for you to weigh your luggage before flying off. Service was good and overall hotel was clean.

This hotel’s location is incredibly convenient — just steps away from People’s Square Metro (Exit 14) and Raffles City Mall. It’s also right next to Nanjing East Pedestrian Street, with plenty of eateries nearby. We even had a partial view of the Oriental Pearl Tower from the entrance of the hotel. The room was very comfortable, featuring a smart toilet and daily housekeeping. What stood out most for us was the 24-hour self-service laundry room — a lifesaver since we were traveling across multiple cities in China. The hotel staff were friendly and always ready to assist. Overall, a great stay and highly recommended for travelers looking for comfort and convenience.

I was thoroughly impressed by the outstanding service and spotless cleanliness. From check-in to check-out, the staff went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and welcoming experience. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality truly stood out. What really made the difference was the staff's responsiveness and kindness. Whether it was a simple request or a question about local recommendations, they were always eager to help with a smile. Their robot delivers online food orders and was a hit with my daughter! They even kept my Taobao orders a day in advance of my stay and kept it safe in their storage room. I really appreciated this! We were super close to the Pedestrian street, getting a Didi or taking the subway was also very convenient! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Shanghai!

This hotel was very clean and located near plenty of amenities in the city. It was my first time staying and I actually booked my room for the second night. The staff was very pleasant and I will certainly stay here again.

Positives: The hotel is well located, with very comfortable beds and a good breakfast offering a pleasant mix of Western and Chinese options. Staff were friendly and tried to be helpful, although not quite as bilingual as advertised. Negatives: There is too much unnecessary high-tech in the room. Features like motorized curtains felt excessive. The room also had a huge television, which seemed outdated rather than luxurious — I prefer using the internet for greater freedom and control over what I watch. Serious concern: The “smart” toilet was poorly designed and unnecessarily complex. In the first room I was given, the lid repeatedly closed on my back while I was sitting down — uncomfortable and frustrating. I was moved to another room, where things got worse: the UV-cleaning function activated while the lid was open, causing painful eye irritation and light sensitivity that lasted for two days. The hotel initially denied the use of UV, but later contradicted themselves. They refused to provide documentation or accept responsibility. This was not just an inconvenience — it was a genuine health and safety issue.

Slightly pricey for the hotel, but really good location and friend staff members. They can help with delivery/ taobao/ anything you need! Hotel room was clean and sufficient space - but its next to the road and the honking is pretty loud.. better at night though. Another issue is that there’s no fridge/ safe so you might want to take note. Great hotel overall!!

Super convenient location, 2 mins walk to the metro entrance. Staff are friendly and offered to upgrade our room with windows. Shower room was neat too.

The room is big. The location is perfect. We can walk to many places. There’s some stains on the toilet seat when we just entered the room after checking in but the lady housekeeper came and cleaned it and apologized to us. So, it was resolved and we were okay. Overall, it’s a good place to stay in Shanghai.
