Poor, expired food

the location is great, staff no good in english, so very hard to communicate. and if u expect a very good service and attitude, than don't choose here

Characteristic hotel

This is probably the worst Japanese inns I've stayed in. The food is pitifully meager, basically a few plates of pickled vegetables + 1 small dried fish, rice, noodles and black bean soup. The old lady who looks like the proprietress has a bad attitude, with a dark face, rough voice and is annoying. Sigh... It's not worth it to pay for it. I don't recommend it!

Dafu has a great location, beautiful scenery, good spring water, and acceptable food. The only regret is that the reception is not warm enough. But considering that the owners are two elderly people, I think it is understandable and give it a good review.

Friendly staff, slightly old facilities, better options than other hotels, simple dishes made with local ingredients for dinner and breakfast, much better than expected

This time I visited Nyuto Onsen for the second time in winter. The hotel I stayed in this time was very cozy. The staff there were all elderly grandparents who could communicate in simple English. The breakfast and dinner were simple but delicious.

The location is quiet and there are trails nearby where you can take a walk. The location is good. There is no toilet in the room, which is inconvenient. The building is a traditional wooden house with a retro style, but the floor will make noise when you walk on it, which can easily disturb guests. Breakfast is a bit simple and could be richer

Good service attitude

An old-style Japanese hot spring hotel run by a local elderly couple. The staff are also elderly. The facilities are relatively old but very clean. The meals are simple but filling. This is the hot spring with the highest sulfur and iron content here. The owner can communicate in English and helped us make a phone call to book a special car back to the airport. In short, it is a very local hotel. If you like to experience local customs, you can choose this place

There are six hotels in Nyuyu Hot Spring Township, among which Sunliu Hotel is temporarily closed. If you want to stay in Hot Spring Township, unless you have no other choice, it is better to choose another hotel!

The transportation is convenient and the breakfast and dinner are delicious!

CP value is good

I stopped by and went in. Immediately after soaking in the open-air bath, I remembered that I hadn't looked at the time, so I went back to the changing room to check the clock on my phone. When I returned to the open air, the futa staff (landlady?) who had come to open the window told me to pay 600 yen because it was my second time. Even when I told them about the situation, they just told me to pay and they didn't take care of it.I didn't feel well, so I left the bath immediately without going into the indoor bath. The trip to Nyuto Onsen, which I had been looking forward to, turned out to be a very unpleasant memory. If there is such a rule, I would like it to be explained from the beginning, and there are no clocks in the indoor baths or changing rooms. I think the response, including the tone, is abnormal for a customer service industry.
