"Awesome stay at Melia Hue. Perfect location. The interior, service and amenities all feels high end. It’s a surprise to find such a nice hotel in small town like Hue. Definitely high CP. it’s also the tallest building in Hue, guaranteeing great views in all rooms. There is a mall attached to the hotel with supermarket inside. Ask the front desk for eateries recommendations. And definitely get the buffet breakfast as it’s really good."

"A haven for my soul !!! I accidentally discovered Va Riverside Retreat, and it turned out to be a hidden haven along the peaceful Huong River. The scenery here is simply serene—watching the golden sunset reflected on the water and waking up to the sound of birds at dawn felt like stepping into another world. Besides relaxing in the refreshing pool, I also had the chance to try paddle boarding on the river. One of the most unique moments was listening to the mystical melodies of the Hầu Đồng ceremonies drifting across from Hon Chen Temple—a truly authentic touch of Vietnamese culture. The local breakfast was delicious, simple yet full of flavor, and made the mornings even more memorable. What stood out the most was the staff—they welcomed me like family, making me feel at home even though I was far away from mine. If you’re looking for more than just a stay, but an experience that touches both your senses and soul, I highly recommend coming here. Discover it as I did, and perhaps you’ll enjoy it even more than I did."

"The reception service is warm, the room is small but very clean, the facilities are very new; the location is also very good, close to Xiangjiang, quiet in the middle of noisy, walking to the lively neighborhood, the overall price is in line with the housing price 👍👍 breakfast is delicious"

"Everything is wonderful, the administrator is very friendly and positive, location in 10-15 minutes from the center, with a beautiful view, next to there are cafes and shops, on the villa itself there is a common kitchen and a recreation area, I recommend for quiet quiet family recreation"

"Hands down, they have one of the best breakfast spread! There is a good mix of continental and local dishes and plenty of tropical fresh fruits. What I love most is the 2-3 different types of soup noodles they have on rotation daily. We even received a complimentary dinner for 4 pax and the food was very delicious, and service was faultless. The hotel, though not shiny and modern like most are today, it is a very well maintained property. The rooms are very lovely and spacious. We had 2 connecting room and one of it was extremely spacious with a lounging area, very suitable as we’re traveling with kids. The room was spotless and so was the common area of the hotel. The a/c - wow! The only comment I have is the small pool which was really more for dipping than swimming. Lots of cafes and eateries within walking distance and easy to grab back and forth. I have no doubt I’d stay in this hotel again if I’m back in Hue. Big kudos to the team, they truly understand the hospitality business."

"Overall I had a great experience until the last night ( Saturday night) when the hotel was fully booked for some kind of very wild Vietnamese people- big families with around 50 kids of different ages ( they came to celebrate the birthday) in total who ruined my sleep at 5:40am and then again ( after I told them to shut up) at 07:40 am so I couldn’t fall asleep anymore ( I worked till 01:00 am and wanted to sleep at least till 0900)🤦🏼♀️ Their kids are running the hallway from early morning screaming with doors opened into their rooms where their parents are shouting at each other ( those uneducated people from the villages can’t talk quite). You can hear it with your door closed very loudly ( my alarm rings even quieter). The evening before they were singing karaoke in the meeting room next to the lobby bar ( in the main building), so I could hear it in my room on 5th floor. I don’t understand why hotel management allows these such big groups which don’t even know to to respect other guests especially in 5* hotel to stay at such famous brand hotel ( Meliá) . Those kind of the LOCAL guests just ruin the image of the hotel! I pay money for 5* hotel to have a good sleep, but not to be disturbed by other guests 24/7 who have no manners and do not teach their kids how to behave in such places. My suggestions for a light sleepers to AVOID this hotel on WEEKENDS as you probably won’t be able to sleep. I have been living in Vietnam for 7 months ( mostly in 4-5* hotels ) and noticed that is a common practice for some Vietnamese to gather whole village and book 5* star hotel for weekends for celebrations. I had the same issue in very nice 4* hotel in Hoi A where I stayed during 6 weeks. Every weekend it was a nightmare for me (in the night and early morning!). In all other aspects if you come to Kobi during the week this is amazing hotel! Beds, views, ONSEN, breakfast….and staff are amazing! Thanks to everyone who works in this hotel for providing a high quality service."

"In general the stay was ok. The location is good, the hotel is clean and modern. However I cannot give a great rating because of the most bizarre thing that happened at check-out. Having already explained that we were in a rush as we had a flight to catch, the receptionist offered to check our room in case we had forgotten anything. I explained it wasn't necessary as we had checked thoroughly, and repeated that we were in a rush. Our pre-booked car was already waiting, and having loaded our luggage and go in, she instructed our driver not to leave until she had checked the room! I am a very regular traveler throughout Asia and beyond and this is not normal practice, and to attempt to delay our departure ahead of a 2-hour drive to the airport is both bizarre and completely unacceptable. I cannot recommend this hotel for this episode alone."

"The hotel is in an alley, which is not easy to find, but it is still a quiet place in the middle of the hustle and bustle. There is a milk tea shop at the entrance of the alley. It's not far from the night market and bar street. The rooftop and swimming pool on the top floor are good. The breakfast is relatively simple, but it's also in line with the price. The room is spacious and clean. The front desk is very welcoming. They even upgraded me to a room."
