Nestled deep in the mountains, the property offers a unique, almost cinematic atmosphere. There is a touch of moody, beautiful isolation here that you simply won't find anywhere else.
The service was impeccable from the moment we arrived; staff met us at our car to handle our luggage immediately. For those driving, the ample parking and EV charging stations are a massive plus. The orientation was thorough, with the team explaining everything from onsen etiquette to the nuances of our dinner service. A truly high-end, evocative experience."

"Environment: The hotel is right by the lake, surrounded by clouds and mist, and the breakfast area looks like a fairyland.
Service: Two bags of biscuits and mineral water are given when you check in, and there is also free coffee.
Hygiene: Change shoes when you enter the hotel lobby. Although the hotel is not new, it is very clean.
Facilities: Not new, but all good to use"

"It's wonderful to choose the right time to visit. The hotel is a 1.6km walk from Oboke Station, and Oboke Station is 4km away. Public transportation is limited, so if you're not driving, it's recommended to plan your trip accordingly.
The hotel staff was very welcoming. The onsen is separate for men and women, with both open-air and large baths. It was a relaxing soak while enjoying the forest scenery."

"A very pleasant stay! The service was friendly and polite, and the small cable car onsen was a unique experience! The private bath (charged price) is highly recommended; the environment is tranquil and spacious with excellent views! Taking the hotel's used car at night, listening to vintage Japanese songs, to the Mangqiao Bridge for the night view was a unique experience!
The landlady was very kind and even sang a beautiful song during dinner!
They quickly helped me send any forgotten items to my next hotel!
Highly recommend staying here!!!

"Benxuan's room is unmanned self-service, open the room, our family was pleasantly surprised. Traditional Japanese-style rooms, exquisite courtyards, beautiful decoration in the room. The best place for a family!"

"The location is really remote, the road to the hotel for the last 10 km is really narrow for a two way traffic. Also prepare to get to the hotel before 6pm. Dinner start either 6pm or 7pm. The hot spring is natural so it’s not really hot , only around 35 degrees. The dinner and breakfast is really tasty, don’t missed it. It worth to go there once but not twice.the cable car ride to the hot springs was one of a kind ."

"The hotel is as its name suggests, a secluded hotel with few rooms, small and quiet. The hotel is family run and they pay attention to every detail to make guests feel at home. Each room has an open-air bath and massage chair, making the place very comfortable. The dinner was a pleasant surprise, with a charcoal fire full of local flavor and very warm. After checking out, we were also invited to their restaurant for free coffee or tea. As we drove away, he kept watching us leave. It is a hotel that you will miss."
