"Very very good place to stay, especially if you're in Iya. Highly recommended and it's so near iya bridge that you can drop by early while there's NOONE. But very strict on timing so 3pm check-in but you can walk around. Very good dinner and local breakfast. Room was awesome! Just stay here, will stay here again! Onsen was good too!"

"My husband and I are both 70yo from Australia. We had a wonderful experience. Our room was traditional, large and comfortable. Having use of a Onsen on-site was a bonus, robes provided aswell. Our Japanese breakfast, our first was delicious. The lady owner was very kind and helpful. No Japanese for us and no English for her, google translate got us both through. Highly recommended."

"A very nice hot spring hotel nestled in the mountains, with Chinese-speaking staff making communication easy. The hotel's hot spring was quite interesting; you had to build a small train-like structure to go up the mountain and soak in it—very tranquil. The scenery was beautiful in spring and summer; I wonder if it's even more enchanting in winter. The cuisine included robatayaki (grilled skewers) and some local specialties. Coincidentally, the young man who served us was diligently learning Chinese and even explained the ingredients and preparation methods of each dish in Mandarin. The hotel also offered a free evening tour, driving everyone to see the vine bridge and waterfall. A very enjoyable trip."

"Environment: The hotel is right by the lake, surrounded by clouds and mist, and the place to eat breakfast looks like a fairyland Service: Two bags of biscuits and mineral water will be delivered to the hotel, as well as free coffee. Hygienic: Change shoes when you enter the hotel lobby. Although the hotel is not new, it is very clean. Facilities: Not new, but all easy to use"

"It's wonderful to choose the right time to visit. The hotel is a 1.6km walk from Oboke Station, and Oboke Station is 4km away. Public transportation is limited, so if you're not driving, it's recommended to plan your trip accordingly. The hotel staff was very welcoming. The onsen is separate for men and women, with both open-air and large baths. It was a relaxing soak while enjoying the forest scenery."

"The Eleven Hotel Awa Ikeda Station Branch is very conveniently located, with JR Awa Ikeda Station and the tourist bus stop just downstairs—you could almost touch it. There's a shopping street downstairs, but it's often closed. There's a tourist information center next to the JR station. I stayed in a standard twin room with an en suite bathroom. It was spacious and well-equipped, with a large Japanese-style bathtub and a sliding door separating the toilet and shower. It was super clean. Pajamas were provided. The hotel has only a few staff members, but they were polite and friendly. When I checked in that evening, 15 minutes before closing time, the gentleman patiently assisted me. The continental breakfast was exquisite and delicious, and the soup and toast were the most memorable. It was absolutely delicious and not to be missed. There's a locker on the floor, but we didn't seem to use it. If you have a chance, please let me know if you do. Thank you."

"Benxuan's room is unmanned self-service, open the room, our family was pleasantly surprised. Traditional Japanese-style rooms, exquisite courtyards, beautiful decoration in the room. The best place for a family!"

"Close to train station a few minutes away. Nearby many restaurants with covered walkway. Only 5 minutes to a big supermarket. The room is big for a small family and certainly big for couple. They have onsen room for bathing and heater which come handy during our stay below 10 degrees of temperature. Buses and trains are convenient to move around to tourist sites.. While we were away, the host will leave biscuits and titbits for our 3 nights stay."

"The room are above the restaurant . You check in at the bar area. staff know limited english but they have preapred english instructions in advance . Room and toilet are clean. air con is strong. Basic toilet amenities provided."
