"My husband and I are both 70yo from Australia. We had a wonderful experience. Our room was traditional, large and comfortable. Having use of a Onsen on-site was a bonus, robes provided aswell. Our Japanese breakfast, our first was delicious. The lady owner was very kind and helpful. No Japanese for us and no English for her, google translate got us both through. Highly recommended."

"A practical and unpretentious inn, although it does not have luxurious equipment, but feels the thoughtful care of the inn. My family and I stayed at the end of February, and less than 1 minute after we arrived by car, the hostel staff ran down from the 2nd floor to help us transport our luggage to the reception on the 2nd floor. Soon the check-in procedures were completed at the front desk, the hostel staff also helped move the luggage while also carefully introduced the rooms and the facilities of the hostel, they understand English, communicate with them without difficulty. The room is Japanese style with bathroom and other facilities. Since it is located in a mountainous area and the temperature is cold, there is a heater in addition to the air conditioner, so you are not afraid of getting cold. The dining area is in another hut, where meals are normal, with fresh grilled river fish, tempura and other dishes. The location is remote but not hard to find, but think twice if you don't have a drive."

"Environment: The hotel is right by the lake, surrounded by clouds and mist, and the breakfast area looks like a fairyland. Service: Two bags of biscuits and mineral water are given when you check in, and there is also free coffee. Hygiene: Change shoes when you enter the hotel lobby. "The Eleven Hotel Awa Ikeda Station Branch is very conveniently located, with JR Awa Ikeda Station and the tourist bus stop just downstairs—you could almost touch it. There's a shopping street downstairs, but it's often closed. There's a tourist information center next to the JR station. I stayed in a standard twin room with an en suite bathroom. It was spacious and well-equipped, with a large Japanese-style bathtub and a sliding door separating the toilet and shower. It was super clean. Pajamas were provided. The hotel has only a few staff members, but they were polite and friendly. When I checked in that evening, 15 minutes before closing time, the gentleman patiently assisted me. The continental breakfast was exquisite and delicious, and the soup and toast were the most memorable. It was absolutely delicious and not to be missed. There's a locker on the floor, but we didn't seem to use it. If you have a chance, please let me know if you do. Thank you."

"It's wonderful to choose the right time to visit. The hotel is a 1.6km walk from Oboke Station, and Oboke Station is 4km away. Public transportation is limited, so if you're not driving, it's recommended to plan your trip accordingly. The hotel staff was very welcoming. The onsen is separate for men and women, with both open-air and large baths. It was a relaxing soak while enjoying the forest scenery."

"A very pleasant stay! The service was friendly and polite, and the small cable car onsen was a unique experience! The private bath (charged price) is highly recommended; the environment is tranquil and spacious with excellent views! Taking the hotel's used car at night, listening to vintage Japanese songs, to the Mangqiao Bridge for the night view was a unique experience! The landlady was very kind and even sang a beautiful song during dinner! They quickly helped me send any forgotten items to my next hotel! Highly recommend staying here!!! This is even better than Wa-no-Yoku!"

"Close to train station a few minutes away. Nearby many restaurants with covered walkway. Only 5 minutes to a big supermarket. The room is big for a small family and certainly big for couple. They have onsen room for bathing and heater which come handy during our stay below 10 degrees of temperature. Buses and trains are convenient to move around to tourist sites.. While we were away, the host will leave biscuits and titbits for our 3 nights stay."

"I was looking for a place to stay with no meals around Kazurabashi Bridge, and this one happened to be cheap so I booked it. There was a parking lot, the directions were easy to understand, and the staff were very friendly! The bathroom and toilet were shared, but there was a bathtub in the bathroom and it was spacious enough for one person. The toilet also had a washlet and was very clean. The room was also very spacious! It depends on the cost-performance ratio and the places you are visiting, but if you are going to Kazurabashi Bridge, it is very convenient as it is very close by! The community space? had manga and a nostalgic Super Nintendo, and I played with other people staying there! It was a guesthouse I would like to stay at again 😁"

"The room are above the restaurant . You check in at the bar area. staff know limited english but they have preapred english instructions in advance . Room and toilet are clean. air con is strong. Basic toilet amenities provided."
