Faranda Alisas, Ascend Hotel Collection ★★
"There was absolutely no WiFi in the room during my two days stay but it was advertised as with Wifi"
Abba Santander ★★★
"From the moment we arrived we received excellent service, the amenities were very good, and the location was great."
Hotel Picos de Europa ★★
"Please note that single rooms have no windows!"
Hotel Finca Alcamino ★★★
"The best sound of the animals is a fine place with that tranquility that drinks the soul."
Hotel Bahía ★★★★
"A great hotel in a good location, breakfast was very good. Nice room and bathroom."
Enjoy Santander ★★
"Good location, no towel."
Hotel Sol Boutique ★★★★
"The location was perfect. The room was very cold the first night, even though we turned on the air conditioning, and the bathroom was freezing. There was no bathtub, even though the room type we chose—at least in the photos—and the bed had two mattresses instead of one, also with no option to change them upon request."
Citrea Santander ★★★
"Better than expected! Clean, tidy, and new! Close to the train station, within walking distance. Highly recommend!"
Hotel Puerta Santander ★★★
"Very clean, good location to port, secured car park. Very continuance with two huge shopping malls within walking distance. Adequate breakfast. Will stay again for sure."

Hotel Santemar
"High quality hotel situated in a very good location easily within walking distance to the beaches and local restaurants and bars. Room was clean and well appointed with air conditioning. Staff were friendly and efficient. No problem recommending this hotel. The outside look of the hotel is not particularly attractive but inside it is what one would expect from a 4 star hotel."
Dorma Sardinero
"Good service"
Hotel Chiqui
"Although it is located at the far end of the beach, the rooms are pleasant and parking is convenient. In particular, the restaurant inside the hotel is excellent. I recommend it as a hotel for family trips!"
Sercotel El Balcón de la Bahía Suites
"Lovely small hotel. In a great location. 10 mins walk to Old Town. 25 mins to beach. Bus stops directly outside the hotel which is very useful. There are some lovely restaurants and bars within a 5 min walk. I can strongly recommend The Magnolia restaurant 10/10. Some of the best food I've ever had in Spain and a beautiful setting. Book in advance and ask for top terrace. Superb. The hotel pool is small but big enough to cool down in. There is no bar or restaurant in the hotel but breakfast and drinks are provided in your room. A nice touch. You also get a glass of cava while you get booked in. Miroslava ( Mexican) was great. She couldn't be more helpful. The only down side was the room design. The reading lights are too low. If you want to read in bed the only place for the pillows is over the lights. Totally impracticable and very uncomfortable 😕 A small gripe. Would recommend."
Apartamentos Alday
"It's the second time we go. This time we went for 2 nights and the two-bedroom apartment is quite good. The only problem is that it was a bit cool. They told us that the heating was at 21 degrees. The spa is quite good, although now you have to pay 10 euros per person to enter (previously it was included in the price). The bath towels are too small, and you can hear the elevator and the train a lot, since the track is next to the apartments. Still, we will probably repeat if we go through that area. Next door is a fairly large shopping center, and a restaurant where there are many first courses to choose from and many main courses for a very reasonable price. The girls at the reception are very nice and the maintenance guy is very attentive and very nice."
Playas de Liencres - Hotel & Apartamentos
"Be careful when booking through their website because you will not receive any message in advance to confirm said reservation or to cancel and they quickly charge you one day. I don't know how they contact the client."
Ebony & Ivory Suite Home. Probably One of a Kind in Spain
Apartamentos Dunas de Liencres
Micampus Santander Student Residence
"We were a 4-piece band playing for a friend's party. The accommodation suited us perfectly. The four individual rooms are clean, simple and very comfortable. Everything is well-designed and the communal kitchen/sitting area was excellent. The kitchen is stocked with a few plates and glasses and some cutlery. We would have liked to have had some simple extras like a kettle and teacups. Equipment includes an induction hob, a microwave and a fridge with a good-sized freezer compartment. There's no aircon but despite being one of the hottest weekends in the year, the rooms remained reasonably comfortable. There were a few instances of wear and tear (eg scuffed walls, loose hinges) but nothing serious. The concierge service was excellent: friendly and helpful. They were happy to store our instruments and luggage while we waited for our room to be ready. There's a basic canteen that serves excellent coffee (we didn't make breakfast!). Hours are limited. Other facilities include a large lounge where we were able to practice a few tunes, a gym, meeting rooms, laundrette and a table tennis room. A super-handy Lupa supermarket is a 5-minute walk away. And an excellent bus service will get you to the city centre in 15 minutes. We loved our stay!"
Hotel Art Santander
"Very good"
Suite Home Sardinero
"This is a very basic hotel, there is no assistance from the front desk, location is far from everything, except the beach, very little options to eat near by, rooms a very small snd the breakfast was ok"
Palacio de Arce
"We stayed here on our Camino del Nortes Pluses Nice reception Good sized room and bath Food, though expensive for northern Spain, was of a very high standard Lift so no carrying of cases upstairs Minuses Slightly hard to locate but the pluses more than make up for this. We would stay again if in the area."
Eurostars Hotel Real
"5 stars in Santander, the most prestigious hotel, not so modern, but if you know the history of its creation, you will come back again and again. It was built for the royal court when the royal family came to Magdalene Palace, which is at the bottom of the sea on the peninsula. Since then it is a place to gather all the nobles. Everything is measured and steadily, the public with money and age. Breakfasts are some of the best, especially if covered in the air, but it is like weather luck. The only minus is tired furniture, but I still have my charms here. There is an opportunity, take with the view of the sea (gulf). In the morning with the sunrise the view is incredible. To the center 15 minutes down the city, on the sea 20-25 on foot. Parking is own."
Alda Don Carlos
"We came back to this apartment after having been last year. We noticed that sadly the apartment has been neglected. The fittings were chipped, the the only fry pan was scratched by heavy use and the handle was loose, there was not a chopping board or a sharp knife to cut bread or vegetables, there was not can opener. The water glasses were heavily scratched by over use. The cafetiere was cheap plastic with flimsy lid. We noticed the flower pots outside reception were half dead and flooded in water, chairs in the terrace outside looked discarded and dirty. A general feel of neglect about the place. The cleaners changed bed linen and towel daily but the whole place needs investing in better kichen equipment, mattress, and fittings. The way is at the moment, is expensive and poor value for money."
